Hey y'all,

I just completed my first CG. I took me about 2 days but I think it turned out pretty nice. The art is sadly not my own but was supplied by NeonDragonart. I'll hear what you think of it.

P.S. The jewelry on her hand is white gold :P.

The proportions are good, the coloring is nice, but you could use a little more shade though...
errrr... but her right ear seems to have the same color as her hair

I can't tell anything else that'll improve you, it's pretty awsome

well, I like it. The ear thing is a simple mistake. good proportions, position. The only thing is that she's kinda shaded flat. I know it's your first cg, but try not to shade like she and her clothes are flat. Again, normally I wouldnt be picky like that with a first picture, but since you have some pretty good potential, try to work on that. Look at some of Peppstar's work. He has a whole lot of wrinkles and different shades in just the jeans of some of his stuff. Try to imitate that. I'm working towards that goal myself.

That's nice for your first CG

1. Yeah, the ear's brown but you probably accidentally paint can'd or selected that area. As you do more nad more you notice these things faster and edit it before saving and posting...

2. One of her eyes needs eye white. I suck at doing this....

3. Make the shading, like everyone said, a little more defined: use slightly darker colours and don't make everything soft-shading.

4. Also aim for a little more detail: such as maybe hair highlighting and stuff. Wrinkles on clothes are a pain in the ass to do so it's not a good idea to just jump into doing them first

5. Nice choice of colours

I'm not commenting on the line art as you did not ask for comments on it...

I greatly appreciate your comments. Since this is my first CG it needs improval but you've gotta start somewhere. Too bad though I can't really put time in it since my teachers have been bitching me about spending too much time on art rather than on school. So gotta lay low for a while.
