My interest in the show has gone up for reasons that aren't necessarily related to the show's primary content. Character songs are on the way. Character songs make me want to know the characters more so I can appreciate their songs, which make me pay more attention to the show, which means... generally good things.

@Zach1 i agree, i hated how this episode ended, i knew they were gonna lose, but at least when they lost in the ln it was bittersweet, this ending just made me flat out rage.

Though I can somehow understand your disappointment but some of here haven't read the LN yet. Even if you didn't mention exactly what happened I find it rather rude that you killed the suspense for us. The fan subs official streams aren't out yet so please don't do it again.

Spoiler for High School Dungeons and Dragons 11 - So As I Pray, Unlimited Blade Works: I know the opinions of the (male) fandom on pretty boy characters are... extremely variable, to put it mildly. Yuuto's largely been the butt of jokes thus far, which I don't mind, but Issei's lack of attention to anything without boobs has made him not much of a character at all. Not that I blame him, being a man of boobs myself, but this is not wholly what this discussion is about. The next stage of the Rating Game was a lot more intense than the first, including the revelation that one of the members of Riser's group was his sister. The family that stays together, beats up other people together, I suppose. Yuuto's UBW ability was pretty cool, even moreso when he combined it with Issei. The Hand of Ankh upgraded itself another level, now with more golden adornments and green gems. If it gets any more elaborate, it might as well take over Issei's whole body. And much to my surprise, Team Issei lost. Which, oddly, I'm okay with. Not winning an easy victory (but still winning in the end, we have one more episode left, what else is it going to be used for?) means that he may finally get some more dimension, a chance to show some weakness, if the next episode preview is anything to go by. The character songs are in May.
