I have to say I do not agree. I like my OPs to have original animation, not re-used footage. Look at Stellvia which for half the series used an OP made of clips from the first episode, or Trinity Blood's OP which for the entire run was clips from just the first few episodes - this just seems lazy to me.

As disgusted as I am to say, watching the pilot and seeing what I thought was a child E'claire*Kawaii!! ^^;;* (breaking down the door in that shuttle) in a seifuku made me interested in the series once again, so much that I've popped in the dvds on my shelve and are rewatching them
But in all tenses, has this series even been put on the AIR in Japan? I haven't found any mention of it =\ |

I know it wasn't mention in the anime but was it ever reveal in other sources (books, manga, drunk director) Who created the ES members and what their roles were? It seems like they all have fought against each and with each other over their lifetime.

My Japanese ability is low so while I probably have the answers written here somewhere, finding and translating them is a chore.
From what I remember reading in the past and/or have made up myself by conjecture (the two are pretty well mixed up now) I don't think they were created by any one person but by various different organisations, probably largely during one of the wars. I read somewhere, a long time ago, that some abilities are innate, others created artificially by various experiments and techniques that are now outlawed (hence the reason ES-members are so valuable and are not 'allowed' to die). |

Thanks Shiroi. ^^
As for a prequel, I'd like to see that as well, in relation to their past. Who knows? Maybe a prequel will be made in the future depending on how well the books do, or perhaps if there is a large enough demand for it |
