Not all of them are 7. Most of them are 9-10. Anyway, Tabane's kid did it by accident. Not that it really changes anything since the kid's act way too mature for their age anyway.

It's just temporary rule of funny, don't worry. They turn back after a few chapters. This also serves some foreshadowing sine Kazuma's hair turned white when he turned into a teen. This is because his rapid aging genes got disturbed.

No, not that. While Ichika is buffed and relative tall (172 cm), his face is remarkably normal in universe (looks like 16 or 17 year guy for some). Of course, he just undergo puberty when Rin left and still ongoing

Also, watch when Josh really drunk. He's sobbing like sissy, borderline wangst and narmful.

That reminds me: Why do people hate characters angsting? Isn't it reasonable to be sad?

Actually, angsting are acceptable as long it cause a positive reaction to the character itself, here's some example

Angst: self explanatory, if not overblown can be done well.
Angst What Angst: When a character is way too busy or too oblivious to do the usual, otherwise, a character who's numbed to mental pain after suffering too much.
Badass Angster: When angst doesn't do jack to their competence in kicking ass (or anything they do)
Mangst: Manly Angst, as they called, is when a manly man shown a vulnerable side for a while (or hours) being silent and melancholic, only for him to man up and took action.

The only one unacceptable is Wangst, that is, whiny angst, that result in virtually nothing but annoyed people (and readers) because all the character do is complain and complain. No Character Development, no took a level in badass, nothing.

Josh himself can switch between Wangst and Mangst rather quickly, with Stepford Smiler being his usual charade.

So even if they have a legitimate reason to wangst, it's still annoying? I saw a character who angsted when his planet got destroyed along with everyone he cared about. People still called it wangst.

My only advice, the first and several other paragraphs are too thick, separate them, please have some author comments in the beginning and split it using a line. Seeing a block of story like that just felt odd
