That's the date I mentioned. But I'll also ask the person who told me this where he got this information. Maybe this will help us a little bit more

Website mentions series continues on manga (Jump). It stated that the claymore series will debut on a different TV station aka "rerun" in November.

Seems no 2nd season any time soon dude.

No. Reruns in November.

You're doing that on purpose aren't you? It's annoying.

Be nice - he's obviously not a native speaker.

Rerun:
Re = to do something again
Run = to air (in this case)

So, to rerun a show is to air it again. In this case, the Claymore anime, the one we all watched, will be airing again next month.

got this from a Bleach Fan site but it's in total reference to Claymore!!

Pasting from site follows:

CLAYMORE NOT ENDING (yet)
There will be a second season sometime in 2008

Wikipedia -_- we already mentioned that source. Need something more concrete. Someone said it was on the jp site but it was already proven wrong.

I've just started watching this show and I have all of the episodes now.. but I'm wondering, has this show been licensed or are there any news of licensing? I would like to own this show and watch the rest of it on official R1 DVD's.. it's pretty good

azurie, if it's just written in wikipedia it doesnt mean it has to be definitely true. As you know, it is a free encyclopedia and anybody can add information freely. Prolly some fan wrote that last sentence about the 2nd season :P

Who knows. They might be drinking all night and sleeping all day, instead of making anime or browsing the internet :P

Well, its nice to see them coming one way or another. They're work of art.

The series would have been better if it wasn't too rushed to wrap things up a bit too much at the end. Was following the route of the manga not good enough or what? The major battles and Raki's revelation was not bad but it rushed things.

Unfortunately though, because of how the made the ending to the anime series, they are either going to have to redo episodes 20-26 or somehow manipulate what they did to fit what came afterwards, which would be to time consuming. But hey it would be cool, sometime i can't give my hopes up even though the hopes are low.
