Kyoto Animation's project.

Plot Summary:

The story takes place in the near future, in a world born of human imagination. What humans would call ghosts or monsters appear, and they come to be called "phantoms." The main character, Haruhiko Ichijō, is a first year at Hosea Academy along with his upperclassman Mai Kawakami, who fights phantoms with the ability "Spirit of Five Elements," Izumi Reina, who has the ability "Phantom Eater," and Koito Minase, who fights phantoms in solitude. They experience the ups and downs of high school life before a certain incident leads them to the truth of this world.

I liked episode 1 even when we can find the same clichés and Kyoani baits - shinka 3.0, focus on fanservice, same designs all over again -, the opening song wasn't that good but the animation is really great.

The story seems interesting so far - even when I know what is going to happen - and I bet this is going to be one of those series the people can like a lot, mostly because this has a lot of girls and tons of fanservice.

Those assets were way too distracting and boob physic that was missing in amagi makes its way into this series

The setting is pretty ok I guess. Hopefully something else develops with regard to the setting of the world.

Not sure how I like the fact that this has harem written all over it but so far it looks good and the humor is pretty funny. Didn't expect Mai to actually bounce that way Lol. That was new. It seems okay so far. Here's to hoping it gets better I'm just shocked that they only made 2 light novels and then animated this.

Plenty of "action" already though. Mai was fun to watch when she fought that "monster". Actually, I think the put way more action than I had thought lol. I'm guessing we'll learn more about Mai as a person soon. It kinda felt like the episode dropped the viewer in the middle of the story. Haven't read the LN before so going to see how this will go.
