'Duh, it's in the subtitle of course. And the kanji are easy to read, too (long+water).

But was it referring to the miko school?

Who else is there? There are some explanation charts floating on the 2ch/4chan, all of them referring to the Mikoes as "Eisui All-Girls".

Btw, the evil-spirit-controlling miko is probably a rip-off of Yuyuko.

not sure if someone has posted this yet but you can see the character Nanpo (That's her name right?) from the individual tournament, she's right at the back next to her Coach.

So the last arc was really kind of boring and took me a long time to finish, but out of it and some time thinking I think I came up for the best way to describe Saki. It's a show about paper dragons in the east wind. Every character has about all the force to face each other as a piece of paper facing the east wind (in this case Mahjong itself) which fears being blown away or embarassed, but their paper is in the shape of a dragon that will bite at the chance to compete when the tiles are really down on the table and they just want to win. To bad it feels like the paper finally got blown away in the end anyway just as the wind was about to die down for good.

Up to Episode 11

Is it just me, or is everyone a moe, raging lesbian?

Well, all except Hagiyoshi. What a charismatic, dashing gentleman, I yearn to be swept off my feet right away!

Well, that, and I watch it for the Mah-Jong drama. Not too fond of the moe and the blushing girls, but it's very entertaining so far.

This is pretty cool, where all the scenes were taken place in the real world

It would be neat if the reverse side was just Yumi, in the same pose (stealth mode activated).

This the anime thread, hence the recent discussion about characters of the national championship (characters we've just seen for a few seconds in the last episode) doesn't belong here, but in the Saki manga thread.

All said posts have been moved there, if you wish to continue such discussion that's the correct place to proceed.

How many schools are going to join national?

Mahjong needs 4 players.
4×4=16
16×4=64
But Japan has only 47 prefecture.
Adding some (like Tokyo-east and west), 64 are too much.

It's the future, so they have more prefectures.

I like how they gave miss pro close-ups. Looks much better then before. The desaturation on the last scenes is a nice touch too.

Second character album CD announced, or at least the cover is out.

Kiyosumi CD. Hope the other three schools get their own (Or maybe as all 3 CDs as one?)

Release Date: Dec 23.

I suggest you sit down and go watch other series. The manga is barely 2-3 chapters past the prefecture team finals. You won't see a season two in 2-3 years.
