I'm still wondering up to now what exactly is 'Eternal Song' is it like a side-story that is similar to Shakugan no Shana?

Or is it the earlier story of the previous Flame Haze of "Alastor"?

I heard about "Eternal Song" from the "Light Novels" thread, and from just the pictures from the links that were given in that thread, I would have thought at first it was just some side-story or something off-track from the main (which it sorta is, but it isn't in the same way)

But I'm pretty curious to know more about the previous Flame Haze of Alastor, so I will look up on it.

Eternal Song is about the previous "Flame-Haired Burning-Eyed Hunter" Mathilde Saint-Omer and her involvement in the Great War, a period of great turmoil between Flame Haze and Crimson Denizens. Compared to the present, Bal Masque is merely a small group and/or an observer to the war.

BTW, she is accompanied by Wilhelmina Carmel.

This series is a nice prequel to the final season of Shana, as more characters who are Great War veterans will appear to fight alongside Shana.

It would be interesting to look up what those Great War Veterans can do before season 3 comes out. The director might possibly throw in Eternal Song as some side-story possibly since the Light Novel is not truly finished right?

Hmm you make a point, if they are going with the usual 24-26 episodes, then trying to add Eternal Song would be like going super-fast-godly-mode like they did with Inuyasha: The Final Act

I never got around to actually watching season 3 (only watched season 1 and 2) since I read to much comments on youtube, posts on forums, etc etc about how season 3 was so much a screw-up that if they ever got the time for season 4, it better fix the problems or a lot of fans will be angry.

But that is just what I read.

not really.....Bal Masque does interfere in the war turning it out rather well for them.

Also, the RAWs I have are lacking pages 54 and 55, only that. Anyone who has those pages, please contact me through PM. Thanks!

Okay, I'm about to get finished with the first page (detexting everything and placing the translated text is hell D: ) and there's still that two-page full-color cover of Eternal Song (not the front cover, lol).

Here's the detexted version of the first page:

I would guess it is something involving Fuuzetsu, since we see a giant explosion there. Unless that godly-looking figure did something to cause a big bang.

Well will be glad to look on this when this gets translated, and hope some people help out in translating

Elf song Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2009	Spoiler for Bal Masque's real intention: The reason why Bal Masque "allied" with Toten Glocke is because of a certain Unrestricted Method which Asiz is using to create his "child" from Tis and his existences. This spell is actually a part of "Psalm of Grand Order" taken from Bal Masque by Dantalion and eventually falls into Asiz's hand. So Bal Masque raids into the Great War, pretending to be allies of Toten Glocke, but in fact waiting to stop this spell before it completes. Hecate's the one who was able to do this (as seen in the certain chapter of Eternal Song. Can't remember)
