That was great. I think this demonstrates why I like this show so much, while I don't normally like shounen fighters much. They're not making a big deal of anything. Mugai is treated more of a rock star than a typical shounen bad ass, when it comes to his public reception.

(Also that fanboy/girl quarrel between Jinbei and Hibachi last episode.)

It's just... fun.

Great episode.. Mugai is awesome as usual.. The series need more Mugai action!!

Personally, I didn't expect the Summer arc to come so soon.. Another episode about Mitsuki and we are off and running to the 8 island arc.. Certain changes in the story like Tsukishima meeting Mushibugyo-sama so early and Mushibugyo-sama being revealed so early as well..

Curious to see how the changes will play out..

I'm also enjoying the show more then I thought I would. The character designs and color is what got my attention, and the pure fun keeps me coming back.

That last episode. Mugai must be like freakin' Superman.

And yes the property damage, but as long as everyone's enjoying the show right?!

The OP is really growing on me as well. At first I'd watch it because I liked sequence, but the songs not to bad either. It works for the show.

Next episode..more boobs!

Well, I don't really like Tsukishima that much, but then the story wouldn't be what it is without his character..

He will have his awesome moments though.. It'll come.. =D

I don't find him especially an idiot, actually - just an innocent. He's a small-town hick and naive as can be, but he's certainly not dumb.

God the adaptation has missed so much things from the manga.. Maybe they are hope missing some stuff might get people to buy them?

Next episode will be on 8 island arc, Hachijo island.. This will be epic.. Can't wait for next week's...

I found episode 1 really bad.. The manga was much more enjoyable but Mushi's plot gets better as it goes so I'll wait and see what the anime have more first.. Not sure anyone here read up to chapter 104 as another awesome arc is underway atm.. =D

Ouch. It sure looks compressed. And there's 104+ chapters of the manga out already? I'm definitely going to give it a look after the TV run ends

I don't like episode 9..

Totally veered off the manga story and everyone's fighting who they are not supposed to fight..

Not really happy with the adaptation team really.. The fight with Manako were really awesome back in the manga.. He showed us just how damn freaking strong the Mushikari..

In the anime, he's reduced to some weakass gate guard.. Not pleased, not pleased at all..

Let see how they go about ending this.. Hopefully it turns out better than I think it would..

Raw-wise.. English scans only up to 21.. So it'll take some time.. Unless you read chinese scans too which are updated..
