Darth what power did alec gain from slaying arthur, who was a steel i presume?

It never actually mentioned what power he got from it or whether he did get any power. My memory's a bit blurry on that sorry. It may be that Arthur was in an incomplete form. And on excalibur, which one are you talking about? As in the excalibur used by Arthur or are you talking about the Sword of World Salvation? And no, Alec has not once used excalibur or any power that's from Arthur.

They didn't kill Heretic Arthur, he was too strong. In the end, Alice managed to seal him but nearly paid with her life for it. That's also why she never leaves her room and Alec is on a crusade against Gwen.

It is implied that while at first Alec fought Gwen for Holy Grail, but after the King Arthur incident, Alec then fought Gwen to avenge Alicia (shipping mode on ^o^).

Endscape is actually mostly correct on that one minus the fact that the gods of steel have steel as their affinity as opposed to earth. They are extremely vulnerable to extreme heat which could melt steel, which was why Athena tried to pour lava onto Perseus.
