Its only available on PSN for rent. You can download & watch it for 3 days. So its more of a preview release meant to promote the show itself to PSN users. The official release is still in March.

I'm debating whether or not I should buy it. It's expensive - $35!! It may be a lot cheaper to buy the entire series later on. Granted that's the case most of the time, but when you factor in the wait time and all, it can be almost equal.

u might as well download the torrent file and then convert it to ur ps3 instead of buying/ renting so u can save more money... that's what i did and i have both for my ps3 and psp...

Well, that is illegal and shouldn't be spoken about here.

Also, you can use PS3 Media Server to watch all of your anime on your PS3 without converting beforehand.

Gundam UC beginning streamed for free IN ENGLISH

The first 7 minutes of Gundam Unicorn, already available for free on the Japanese Internet only, can now be seen from abroad.

The audio is English, the available subtitles are : English, French, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese.
