I guess I gave them too much credit by assuming they just didn't want to catch up to the manga and have to do another filler arc... Obviously the real reason is that the show is a cashcow and they want to drag it out as long as possible. |

LOL, to true.
I would not mind a filler arc similar to the post-Chunnin Exam, Pre-Sasuke Retrival Arc filler arc from years ago (the one where they have to help some pussy kid win a race, or something stupid like that, but there was an okay villian with a cool sword that actually made sense (i.e. the sword fit in quite well with the manga storyline, so much so that the average fan forgets that Kishimoto never had a Raijin sword in the manga) unlike all the post-Sasuke Retrival filler, where the villians made no sense and their motives were asinine at best. Who am I kidding, the filler will be awful (just judging by the wierd characters in the new opening). btw, did anyone else get extreme Kingdom Hearts flashbacks when watching several parts of the new opening. |

so the anime may catch up to the where the manga is now sometime in the 2100's when global warming has had it's effects forcing everyone to remain indoors, therefore increasing revenue by 35% I doubted the anime team for a second but then I realised this was the reason why they decided to do fillers sarcasm/ ******** can burn in hell.

Apparently the filler is going to last for 10-11 episodes though it's not proved yet but that's one I read on another website
At least the new opening is cool but I am sick and tired of Naruto and Sasuke being together.. I wish people would just move on ~.~ |

Hahaha.
I saw the new OP and I thought "Oh my god, finally, widescreen, real grown up looking characters, great new animation, great new song for the OP that's not pointless rap-hip-hop shouting, they knew that what they've been doing is bullshit and they broke away". 5 minutes later, something doesn't seem quite right. I skip to the end. "WHAT?!? FILLER AGAIN?!?" and then a series of expeletives. Essentially yeah, it looks and feels better BECAUSE it's not the manga. It's because it's filler, and they can move the filler story forward at a normal and acceptable pace. When filler is better than the original, you know it's time to say goodbye. I hope Kishimoto and all the assholes at Studio Pierrot make a lot of money like Pokemon does on no content whatsoever forever. Enjoy. Me and my hopes of proper animation with proper story are going to go into the corner and dream about things that never were. It's time to stop watching this bullshit. The OP for filler is so much better than anything they've done since they picked up the manga story, and it's just so SAD that what I want to watch the anime for is ruined by the moral degradation of making money. Goodnight sweet prince. |

I am actually looking foward to this filler arc. You never know if it might be good. I have faith. I believe after this filler arc, the anime will become fast paced agian like it was before the time skip. Another good thing about this filler is that a certain ignored character will be involved (judging from the opening). It will give the audience a chance to get emotionally attached to this certain character.
