Seemed to have read this [elsewhere] earlier this year? I don't think these machines will be placed anywhere that is badly protected and outside of high traffic upscale areas. Airports would be a good idea, IMHO, for people coming back on trips and needing to get a last-minute gift for the rugrat of the house.

Dealing with damaged stuff and returns will probably be a real pain, though.

Don't you mean you hope someone? Free card.

If it works like a normal ATM machine, they would have to take it out first for it to even start up anyways.

It should work fine. Apple already made a vending machine for the IPod.
