Such a good episode! Azu-nyan.
I really don't want this to end, really, really don't want this to all come to an end. When Azusa was wishing at the shrine I could almost feel myself wishing with her, but for them to do another series where times skipped forward and Azusa gets into their college. Please don't end K-On, I don't think I could live without my weekly dose of your houkago antics. |

HTT = obviously Hokago Tea Time
0 = often used as a numeric placement for "love" (tennis terminology) 8 = can also be read as あ (A) 2 = can also be read as ず (zu) 3 = can also be read as さ (sa N = first letter of Azu-nyan's family name,"Nakano" |

Mio with her way of delivering letter (hey now is the era of internet and email etc) Yui with the influence of the neighbour's Grandmother ... the most 'modern' one is Ritsu, I think ... How does it relate with old fashion?

The animation feels a bit rough around the edges here and there. I'm going to assume they're cutting some corners so they can blow it all out on the finale.
Well on the first half at least. The scenery porn at the latter half was classic KyotoAni, especially after Azusa was getting all gloomy that Jun and Ui tried to comfort her. Actually that's the crowning moment of heartwarming for the three of them then and there. But I have to admit that Azusa's line by the window before Sawako came in got me hard. Really hard. For whatever reason my favorite scene was when she ate the candy at the shrine Yui gave her. There's some deeper meaning to that I haven't figured out yet.

Only five minutes into the episode.
How can they take their uni/college entrance exams so light-heartedly. I crammed, I mean I CRAMMED to pass my entrance exam. You should understand that this is important stuff by the age of seventeen /end lecture. Azusa was so deliciously cute in this episode that it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. :-) Last edited by zarqu; 2010-09-03 at 13:25. |

I'm already 20, and I still take exams lightly. Actually I took them 10 times more seriouse in the past than now.
I would say that with age you become more lazy... you were working hard for so many years that later you have no wish to do anything... even if it is important... saying that as a good student, with good grades. I could get seriously high ones and be at the top if I had given it more effort now, but because I'm too lazy, I'm just a bit higher than average. I have high grades only in subjects I like.

To all of the above posters, true, true. It was, after all, already winter in this episode. I bet Yui had studied during the "manga period" they didn't want to animate.
But still. They have this pen that will reveal the correct answer 60% of the time. Seriously. It's your future on the line, so study hard ! At least that's what they told us in high school. |

It is told everywhere and everyone realise the importance, but not everyone have ability to concentrate or are too lazy to do so. Some people simply don't have talent for studying or some seperate subjects.
It is good that you realize the importance and can actually act on it, but for the majority (me included) it is not that easy. It is hard to force yourself to do something especially if whole this time you were lazzing around. I came to the UK 3 years ago and over this time I became SO lazy, that it frightens even myself. The education here is poor, I could lazy around and still pass all the subjects better than majority. I never was like that, I used to study hard in the past. But now even when I know that my future depends on it, it still is hard to fight that laziness. Sadly all negetive things have bigger influence than positive once. Knowing and actually doing something are different things. P.S. Though now I will have to put myself together since Universities are said to be hard here. No offence to anyone but English schools don't prepare students for Unis at all. What you call hard work here, I call a joke. You have no homework and have to write only two exams in one subject during the year. Thta's just a joke in comparison to education in my country and all those that were once in Soviet Union. You are spoiled from young age by being lazy and then suddenly have to start studying hard, that's just wrong.
