This weekend's special looks pretty good, or at least much better than last weekend. Still no equipment sale, though we did get a sale on gold ammo. I think I'll stock up on HESH rounds for the FV 183.

I could use a garage slot sale... my intention in entering the US TD line was to get a Hellcat and maybe keep the T49 on the way, but the M8A1 is turning out to be a nice little vehicle also. It's still armored with paper, but has a view range that is at least competitive to the SU-85B, while having a turret with good gun depression, and a high top speed.

It`s not yet 8.7 in Asia server.. Right now I`m grinding Vickers Medium Mk. III for Matilda and I have to get at least tiers 6-10 so that I can be join my clan`s platoon.

I got 2 Ace tankers with Ms-1. I`ll add it to my edits once I upload it from my computer(I~m using my laptop right now

)

I have no done all my light tanks for the evening, yes all of them -- the T1E6, the LTP, the Pz35t and 38t, the Type 62, and the AMX 13 90. This leaves me free to focus on the weekend bonuses, which encompasses all my other tanks in the garage. Yeeees...

So after a decent platoon session with Quox and Macrossfighter, I set out to gather some free XP for pre-research on the T49 (almost have every module unlocked now, before buying it) and to chase the 50K day of premium mission.

That's about when the rutabaga brain teams started to really show up. My global win rate briefly flirted with 55.53% before ultimately sinking down to 55.49%, a net loss of 0.02% for the day.

I did finally get that daily mission though. Hey, it's worth real money.

That Comet victory that you see in the status feed was this mission:

Teams were still horrible at this point; I went to the NW hill sniper corner entirely by myself while three-quarters of the team was either within the forest or no further than the middle road. I killed the Crusader, T1 Heavy, and PzIII/IV (which I tracked as it crested my hill and then mercilessly finished off from below its gun depression) from the hill. Then I pushed south (still alone) and got into a hilarious double-carousel duel with both the Jumbo and the SU-152. Moved south to push the enemy base, by this time our team has finally managed to clean up the evidently equally-horrible enemy push in the forest, shoot the Hummel. I have to use the track repair kit fighting the Jackson, which means that I was pretty bad off and couldn't dodge the final KV-1, but the game was still a win. Even though I was grumbling about my team taking its sweet time to move out of the damn trees.

Damage, XP, accuracy, and performance numbers were all in the green for the session, though. I try to carry as much as I can. In one T-15 mission I spotted 12 of the enemy team... and my backup couldn't hit the broad side of the Death Star.

Good terrain passibility, good gun depression, relatively less penetrating bur harder hitting guns.

105mm for sure. The 90mm could be amazing in tier 7 battles but in tier 9 you will need that extra damage (at the cost of lower RoF).

Besides: More damage = More Exp = Easier to get next module

Today was pretty much "every game has to be a carry" day. In most of our games where we didn't somehow roll a unicum team on our side, whoever it was with me in the platoon (first RRW and Irenicus, then PityFool and LokiSnake -- who are both blue-to-purple players) end up having to save the freaking game. EVERY TIME. It was exhausting, yo.

Also, we ran into Sumeragi in her Hetzer (sorry about that).

That game ALSO turned into a carry, by the way. Where the platoon + the artillery on the team were the only ones left.
