6 OCs in 2 days. I don't know if it's stupidity, insanity or brilliance.
But do comment on these fresh-off-the-storyboard drafts. As you can see, most of them are the "bad guys", although I'm definitely gonna blur that line a lot in my writings.

The Spells aren't done yet. I found it takes the 2nd most amount of my thought, after "how to develop the sketches and draft characters in the story".

I left Ashcroft out of this, again, because I finally reached a verdict about his spells and love life, and then I realized those things weren't really things I wanted to say just yet

"Who called this meeting?" The one in white asked. "I have important matters to deal with."
"Stifle it, girl," The leader in yellow fired back. "It seems that we've acquired a few new problems." The man glanced at the one in green, who pulled up a holographic image of the White Tempest.

"Our agents watching Yagami sent me this about an hour ago," she said, sounding concerned. "One of our greatest threats has just acquired a powerful toy. I'm setting in motion to have her tied down in paperwork, but without a good reason to take it, I cannot legally have the ship taken from her... especially considering that, according to transmissions, it will only work for her."

"So it presents a conundrum," Yellow said. "On one hand, it may provide valuable insight on the way Al-Hazared's technology work and bring us one step closer to completion of the Project. On the other hand, it will make Yagami one of the most powerful mages in the TSA."

"We can't let this stand!" The one in brown said. "We can study the ship just fine without her! We must eliminate Yagami Hayate!"

"I disagree." The woman in white shook her head. "That would look far too suspicious."
"We will discuss that matter later," Yellow concluded. "Now, moving on, I understand that our database was hacked today?"

"Yes, sir," the man in violent answered, bringing up an image. "This is Syn Virage. I discovered her trail poking around the database... I humored myself and purposely broke a few codes for her. She was looking for the Sankt Kaiser's Medical Report, I understand." Another image was brought up of Syn and Vivio in the park from earlier that day. "Apparently, they do not like what we have given them."

"It's of no consequence," White said. "Those two are not important to our Project. Let them be."
"I agree," The man in blue nodded. "We have more pressing matters than a couple of kids... how did you get that photograph, anyway?"

A third image was brought up, causing the one in blue to gasp. "This is...!"
"Indeed," Violet said. "We cannot have people poking around. Besides, the clone of the Sankt Kaiser is proving to be far too troublesome. Soon, I will give the orders, and my agents will deal with her and Takamachi Nanoha."

"You can't be serious!" White shouted. "She's just a girl; moreover, most higher-ups in the Saint Church truly believe that, as a clone of the Sankt Kaiser, she will usher in a new era of peace! You cannot kill her!"

"Shut up!" Yellow roared at the woman. "You have no right to say anything. The only reason you are here is due to your skills, but other than that, you are completely useless! I care not for the church, only the Project!" he paused. "But you are somewhat correct." To Violet, he said. "Have you assassins watch her. Anything funny, and I want her dead. Her and her mother."

"Yes, sir."

"Yes, I do," A woman purred as she walked down the streets of Cranagan City. "I will try my hardest, sir, to not give in to my temptations... she looks so sweet, after all..." Fifty feet ahead of the woman, Vivio and Syn walked together, talking about nonsensical things and enjoying each others' presence. The woman flexed her fingers several times as she watched them, licking her lips as she did so. "It will be so much fun to kill her."

"Relax."
The woman sighed. "Yes, sir."

On another frequency, the woman picked up another transmission. "We've found a body. Brown hair, one-point-six meters tall, blue eyes... looks like she was knifed."

"Damnit," The woman growled. The description matched her appearance somewhat, except for the fact that she had just killed that woman about ten minutes ago to continue trailing Syn and Vivio. Ducking into an alley, the woman hid behind a dumpster and closed her eyes. A shimmer surrounded her before collapsing the disguise, revealing long brown hair with orange-yellow eyes... and the body suit of a Combat Cyborg.

"Now..." Due said, searching her internal database. "Let's find a better disguise..."

"There was another incident with a Candidate," Yellow stated, bringing up an image of the still-raging battlezone between the Spawn and the OFM. "Subject Number Seven terminated Number Twenty-Nine earlier today, according to our agents. Number Seven's progress is... astounding."

"That would make the fifteenth one he's terminated," White reflected. "Truly, he is the strongest out of the candidates."

"This means that there's only two left," Violet observed. "Not counting Number Seven; Numbers Three and Nine... which also have an impressive number of kills."

"Indeed," Brown nodded. "Number 3 is on-board an assault cruiser, and my agents say he's already beginning to show characteristics of contamination. Hopefully his body will be strong enough to handle it."

"Number 9 is in Cranagan City," Blue said. "He's potentially the weakest out of the survivors, but he's still useful. He too shows signs of contamination."

"If it weren't for that second personality," Yellow growled. "Number 7 would have succumbed to the contamination as well. But when he's the only one left... and when he's the strongest one... then truly, we will have our vessel."

"One more thing," The woman in green said. "It seems to me that they have control over the Abomination to some degree now. How this is possible I don't know, but there may be a connection. The thought is worth persuing."

"Agreed. Do some research and find what you can," Yellow ordered. "This meeting is ajourned."

The woman in White quickly disposed of her cloak, hiding it in a large drawer in her desk. Someone had just knocked on her door and she couldn't reveal her identity yet. Not until the time was right and the Prophecies came to pass, anyway.

As she walked up to the door, her primary concerned was to stop the Project Leaders to not kill Nanoha and Vivio, and put a damper on killing Hayate, period. The one in blue seems to be a friend, however... she thought before silently cursing. Damnit, I wish we knew each others' true identities. Taking a calming breath, she opened the door. "Yes, Sister Schach?"

"Ah," Schach smiled. "Carim-kishin, here are the documents you requested..."

Similarly, the man in blue was putting his cloak in his closet when the phone rang. Taking slow steps, the man walked up to the phone and pushed a button. A smile on his face appeared at the girl who had just called him.

"Hi, dad!" Subaru said cheerfully.
"Hello to you, Subaru," Genya Nakajima replied.

Looking over at Caro as doctors finally managed to stabilize her, he wondered if the one closest to his heart would survive. A comforting hand squeezed his, and as he looked up to Lutecia's calm face, he thought that maybe, she'd be okay.

History

Jia Rong is an ethnic Tang born on Midchilda to an ordinary family and led an otherwise ordinary life of school at Gakutenoh Academy from Kindergarten all the way up to High School. He would eventually develop a knack for plumbing the Tesnet for the most obscure data, and sometimes he even yields classified information that he’d squirrel away for the future when he needed it.

But his most unique point is his obsession with mecha and walkers. While other guys horded babe magazines, Kai hunted Arm Slave, The Warhammer, Newtype and Hobby Belka, the many other periodicals that dwelled on the vintage war-machines and those being used in the Rim Worlds. Instead of giant posters of fanservice, his room is lined wall to wall with shelves of Funpla procured by Uncle Mardukas after each 97th assignment. He even treats himself like a robot; he waits for a wound to be “repaired”; he describes fever as “Condition Red”; he calls panting from exertion “venting”. And he would always proudly proclaim his life-long ambition was to build his own suit, however unfeasible, and fly it.

Therefore, the most wonderful thing that has happened to him was a chance encounter with Kha AKA Alexander Rowell in the Grade Terminator “0” while he was in school at 13.

As Gakutenoh was a top choice for members of high society, the school once became the target of a terrorist hostage taking. Always eager to be the hero, Kai brazenly attacked one of the radicals man-handling another student, and would’ve surely died in that struggle if not for the Cleric’s timely intervention.

The mental image of the 0 Grade saving the entire school single-handedly was burnt into Kai’s mind. It was possible for mecha to exist and thrive in that day and age – they just had to be cored by a mage!

He had the basic designs for the Frame as it was still used by the TSAB in the Rim Worlds where mere mages cannot survive the perilous environments; what he needed was parts. At that time, Kai had been working part time at Lowe Guild, a company that salvages scrap from all over the planet. By begging or by earning from Lowe, and borrowing tools to make the rest, Kai quickly gathered whatever he needed to put together a rudimentary magical device that took the form of full-body armor.

The end result was an amateurish machine that could barely move, much less fly and shoot. Not only that, it lacked the henshin storage function of a normal Device, and Kai had to build wheels into its feet so that he could push it to school and back.

Kai and the dodgy device P01 Red Frame appear in Mahou Itsugi Powered Artei mostly for comic effect as the butt of jokes about the mekka-otaku. Even other club members of the “Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture” like Darco and Lingo all discouraged him from trying to build a useless walker in the era of magic. Kai would have none of it; running on his own impetus that people have long labeled “crack”, Kai would perfect and rebuild Red Frame into P02 Blue Frame by late 0069.

That eccentric obsession aside, Kai is a very helpful and friendly person, and many people, especially the girls, find his warm and inclusive personality very attractive. As he is a firm believer of hard work, guts and determination in conquering all, Kai is relentless in whatever he does, and routinely scores near the top of his class every year. However, this hardly translates to sports, where his clumsiness and two left feet often leave him on his bum rather than on the ball. Kai also is part of the Eta swordsmanship club, but no matter how hard he tried, he could barely improve beyond the bare basics and compete.

His stubborn fascination with walkers may confound many, but his never-say-no attitude to detractors and life in general won him respect of many future high-flyers, like Nanoha and the Aces. And while it frustrates her to no avail, Sophia counts Kai as one of her closest friends in school.

Many years, and many more laughs later, Wu Jia Rong graduated from Gakutenoh with top honors and is now an Engineering Sergeant under scholarship to FutureTech Laboratories’ Center for Biochemical Applications to Technical Medicine. His path would eventually cross with the Aces once again in MC 0075, when he is hand-picked by Hayate to be Shari’s assistant in the founding of Lost Property Riot Force 6.

With his newest assignment to the cutting edges of both technology and battlefront, Kai firmly believes that the day he could fly in the same sky as the Grade Terminators is fast approaching…

Powers

Kai has no powers what-so-ever. Instead he uses his Linker system as a generator to power his Frame. As such, all his “skills” are equipment-based. Even though he has the looks and feel of a Mobilesuit, Ash/tray can’t fly but jumpjets from spot to spot until the completion of P06 Out Frame.

Due to his background job, he almost never sees combat and he's fine with that. But if the enemy were to appear at his doorstep, he would gladly jump into Silver Frame and take him on, no matter how powerful.

About the Ash/tray series

As big as it looks, it's only slightly over 2 meters in height, as the system is a Magic Frame battle suit, with maryoku thrust vectoring and power-lifting built in. Outside of the suit Kai may be next to useless, inside he's as good as the average B-rank mage.

But why "Ash/tray" of all names? "Because the ZD plunket in the occulation-regulator assembly that is always goofing up in the first Red Frame resembled that of an ash tray," Kai would reply. No one has managed to understand whatever that meant, and any attempt to probe further were met with "Classified Information".

The MBF production code for the series stands for “My Backyard Frame” and the PXX that follows denotes the prototype generation. It is a testament to Ash/tray’s humble beginnings 6 years ago, when Kha built Red Frame using refurbished parts cannibalized from the various trinkets that pass through the salvage company he works part-time at.

The earlier frames, Red, Blue and Black, apart from him out-growing the fitted frame, were all made solely for creating a working armor that wasn't a liability, as they were plagued with weird but comical bugs like venting a pantsu-flashing typhoon when Kai sneezes, flipping whoever taps the left shoulder, or having a voice projection system that converted all of Kai's words into "Fumoffu" while shutting it down would crash the whole operating system. And the list goes on...

Gold Frame was the first attempt to build some functionality to the Frame. Kai wanted to add spell reflection to the armor's coating and hence improve survivability in real combat. But Kai ran out of funds, and the Guild out of parts, and despite all the scrimping, the Frame was left missing it's right arm. It was eventually sold to Aurion Dauer, who would then reuse the materials to make the golden Grade Terminator "Vivio".

Silver Frame, the product of Kai's mini-thesis that won him his scholarship, was the only Frame close to weapons grade.

Kai reused the idea for Gold Frame, but proposed that using the cheaper, silver-colored Kaluminum instead of the rarer, more durable, golden Zendarium, and to only apply that treatment to the armor surrounding more critical parts of the body. This resulted in a cheaper and much more practical frame able to take wear and tear while being very suitable for mass-production. It was only too bad that the judges felt Silver Frame was too gawdy to be tactical, but they nonetheless approved the construction of the Frame for research purposes, and assigned Kai to be its test pilot. In exchange, Kai had to periodically come up with innovations for the Frame, and somehow fix its shine while remaining reflective in order to keep the Frame.

With that, Kai set out with relish and through the course of StrikerS, he would build several metamagic devices for Silver Frame. Below is a collection dated to around July 0076:


Defensive Powers

Barrier Jacket – The red and white jump-suit like garment that Kai wears whenever he is testing new equipment sent in by the Labs. He wears it as an underlying garment before donning any of the Frames.

G-Field – Kai's name for Ash/tray's field defence.

Frame on! – A spoken command that activates Silver Frame to unfurl from Solo Mode and let him step in.


Offensive Powers

Mage Gatling – The weapon that gives Kai his full call-sign. Works very well when having to stand ground against overwhelming odds. It has been with him ever since he built Red Frame years ago, and has been refined and upgraded over time. Like other rifle-type devices, this can use belt-fed non-lethal, stunning or lethal rounds. Kai likes to yell "ATATATATATATATATATATA!!!" when firing this device.

Grade Rifle – A stereotypical medium-range beam rifle from a mecha anime. Fires 5.56mm magically-charged shots, and like other rifle-type devices can select and use non-lethal, stunning or lethal rounds.

Siegel Launcher – an attachment to the Grade Rifle that adds the ability to fire force-propelled spellbombs.

Grade Shield – A stereotypical tower shield from a mecha anime. However, this jig is chock-full of gadgets. On top of holding both configurations of mage javelins, it houses the umbilicus port for charging the suit while awaiting launching and additional vector jets. Regrettably, the first equipment to get blown up is usually this.

Subaru - While it is natural for Kai to proclaim that he knows Subaru inside out, he does not understand why she'd clamp him down before he can complete his sentence. Other than that, he and the Nakajima sisters get along very well, and even let him "borrow" their bodies to learn about sentokijin musculature.

Teana - On good talking terms, but with no real common ground in between. He does feel for her having lost her family, and when she started her downward spiral, he was very concerned, but unable to do anything.

Uomo - While out testing Silver Frame's new sensor suite, Kai discovered Uomo and a team of Type-5 stealthbots spying on Southfort. He tried to arrest the humanoid despite Hayate's warning him not to engage, and despite being out-numbered 7 to 1, his understanding of common AI flaws allowed him to succeed in destroying all the Gadgets. However, Uomo managed to escape.

Their paths would cross over and over throughout StrikerS, becoming the stereotypical "rival pilot" relationship of a mecha anime.

After StrikerS, Kai would discover that his adversary was a male and freak out pretty badly...

While Fate, Erio and Caro talked to Lutecia, Koji and Treize searched for Cinque.
After walking a bit, they found her, "Oh, there she is. Cinque-san!" Koji called her.
Cinque was sitting with Sein and Dieci, while Otto and Deed were sitting nearby.
She turned to them, "Treize." Cinque smiled.
"Eh?" Sein leaned over and saw her, "Treize!"
"Cinque-onee-san, Sein-onee-san." Treize quickened her step to meet up with her.
The other three numbers looked at he young girl, as she was hugged by Sein.

"Yo..." Koji greeted Cinque, she looked at him and smiled.
Cinque looked at Treize, "Have you been a good girl?" She asked.
Treize looked up at her and nodded, "Un."
"Oh, I missed you so much!" Sein hugged her.
"Cinque-nee...is she..." Dieci paused.
Cinque nodded, "Yes...She's one of us."

After gathering all of the 'sisters', Cinque proceeded to introduce Treize.
Cinque and Sein stood behind Treize, who stood in front of the remaining Numbers.
"Let me introduce you to our youngest sister, who only Sein and me knew about..." She placed her hands on Treize's shoulders.
"Go ahead..." She said with a gentle voice.
Treize looked at them all, and introduced herself "...Treize." bowing afterwards.

The remaining Numbers introduced themselves...
"Dieci"
"Otto"
"Deed"
"...Nove" She blushed.
"Wendi~su" She made a 'V' sign.
Treize looked at each one of them and said, "So many Onee-san..."
Cinque giggled, "That's right..." She then turned to Sein, "Sein, could you help her talk with the others?"
"Eh? Sure, but why aren't you doing it?" She asked.
"I have to go talk with someone." She replied.
"O-okay..." Sein found it odd, but she didn't mind, "Treize, let's go talk to Dieci first." She extended her hand to Treize.
"Un..." She nodded, grabbing Sein's hand.

Cinque saw them go, and turned to Koji, walking to him.
"Allow me to help." Maren walked up to Sein and Treize.
"Oh, thank you." Sein said.
While Treize was getting to know her sisters, Yui was talking to Wendi, who seemed interested in the topic...whatever it was...
Subaru tried to start a conversation with Nove, but it wasn't going very well.
And Teana was trying to keep Subaru away from trouble.

As for Koji, he sat down, looking at them with a smile on his face...
Cinque walked up to him, "Can I sit here?" Cinque asked.
Koji looked up at her, and nodded.
The two sat there, watching them in silence.
"It seems they're accepting her well." She commented.
"Yeah...and Treize is happy to meet them too." He added.
"Good." Cinque smiled.

"I heard Ginga-san is participating in a rehabilitation program here, how's it going?" He asked.
"Yes, everyone is learning how society works at a good pace...but..." She looked discouraged.
"What's wrong?" He looked at Cinque.
"Will we be really accepted by society?" She said, looking at her sisters getting along with everyone.
"..." Koji stayed silent, listening to Cinque's words.
"I've realized for a long time now...that even when we're released from this place, we won't truly be free and only go to where we are allowed to."
"Cinque-san..." He worried.
"I'm here because I'm worried about them. I'm worried that without me, they'd be lost and alone in the world."
"They lived most of their lives in that laboratory, and have only seen the battlefield...the world is much bigger than they think." She looked at her sisters again and worried.

Sensing her worry, Koji gently put his hand on top of Cinque's head.
"Ah..." Cinque let out, a hint of red could be seen on her cheeks.
"Don't worry too much." Koji said, "I'm sure everything will be alright...just look forward to a new life with your sisters." He smiled.
"A-ano...you're patting me on the head..." She said.
"Un, this can usually cheer anyone up." He smirked.
But then he notice her glare, that felt pretty much like a warning...
"Please don't treat me like a child..." She said. It wasn't a threat, just a friendly advice.
"A-ah, is it bad?" He sweatdropped, removing his hand from her head.
"Just don't do it..." Cinque's expression returned to normal.
"Sorry, it's a habit of mine." He apologized.
"But at least it cheered you up a bit." He smiled.
"Well...I guess so..." She looked away, admiting it in a low voice.

"Do you do that a lot?" Cinque asked.
"Patting someone on the head?" Koji nodded, "To my little sister...and recently to Treize too."
"You have a sister?" Cinque said.
He nodded again, "Over there, with Wendi-san."

Cinque looked at Yui talking with Wendi, the two smiled and laughed.
"Cheerful and energetic isn't her?" She looked at Koji.
"Yeah..."
"She must be one of those persons you want to protect, right?" She looked at him.
"At all costs." He said seriously.
Cinque smiled, looking at them again, "Then what you said is true...we are alike."
"Aa..." He nodded in agreement.

"Now that I think if it...there is another reason I chose to be here."
"And what is it?" Koji asked.
Cinque looked at him and replied, "I have faith." She smiled. "Faith that someday our situation will change...and that's because, there are people like you and your friends around."
"Ehehehe..." Koji tittered embarrassed.

During Koji and Cinque's conversation, Nove and Maren were keeping an eye on them.
(I don't like the way they're getting along...Cinque-nee, don't be fooled by him!) Nove gritted her teeth.
(Koji-sama~ It's good that you're a kind person, but please try not to be too kind!) She worried.

Then they saw Koji pet Cinque on the head.
"Wha?" Nove let out as she saw it, "K-kisama..." but she restrained herself.
"Koji-sama~~" Maren looked at them with envy.

The two then noticed eachother...
"What's with you?" Nove looked at her.
"I'm worried about Koji-sama." Maren replied.
"Worried about him? What for? I'm more worried about Cinque-nee...he might take Cinque-nee away from me." She made a fist.
Maren sweatdropped, and went back to worrying (K-Koji-sama~ this girl doesn't even care about gender!)
Nove then remembered what Maren said before, "'sama'?" Nove raised an eyebrow. "What is he, some noble or something?"
"Ah, no, Koji-sama is my master." She smiled.
Nove stayed silent, then looked towards Cinque, (C-Cinque-nee! Stay away! He's into 'that' sort of thing!!) She said to herself.

Then, Wendi and Yui saw them in that position...
"are? Isn't that Nove and your friend ~su?" Wendi said when she noticed them.
Yui looked as well, "That's true..."
They walked up behind them, "Ne, Maren-chan, what are you doing?"
"Y-Yui?" Maren looked at her.
"And Nove too, what are you doing over there?" Wendi asked.
"Wendi, shhh!" She told her.

Yui looked ahead and saw what they were looking at.
"Onii-chan? ...te...Who's that?" She stared at Cinque, as she spoke with Koji.
"That's Cinque-nee ~su" Wendi told her.
"Hmm...so she's the one Onii-chan fought and defeated back then." Yui remembered.
"Tch...'defeated'...Cinque-nee wasn't at her best at that time, she would have blown him to pieces in an instant." Nove boasted.
"Puu~" Yui pouted, "Onii-chan is strong! His skill with a sword is second only to Signum-nee!"
"Peh...Cinque-nee is known as one of the most powerful amoung us." Nove continued.
The two stared at each other, like they were ready to fight, when...
"Hmph!" They turned their back to each other...
"yare yare ~su" Wendi sighed.
"For a moment I thought they'd start fighting." Maren said.

Sein walked up to them with Treize, "Hey, what are you guys doing?"
"Spying ~su" Wendi replied.
Sein tilted to the side and saw Cinque and Koji, "Oh...they look pretty close."
"Pretty interesting, isn't it?" Wendi smirked.
"NO IT'S NOT!" Yui, Nove and Maren shouted.
"Okay Okay! Calm down!" Wendi stepped back.

Sein sighed, "What did Cinque-nee said about privacy?" She rested her arms on her waist.
"Look who's talking, you were always using your IS to sneak up on everyone." Wendi reminded her.
"T-That was for practice!" Sein defended herself.
"Then that time where you snatched my share of cake, that Cinque-nee made, from my own hands, was that also for practice?" Nove entered the discussion.
"W-well..." Sein avoided their gaze. "What can I say...it was good."
"Why you!" Nove gritted her teeth.
"Uwaa!" Sein left as quicly as she could.
"Tch...she's a fast runner when she needs to be." Nove complained.

Sein left but, Treize was still there.
"Ah, Trei-chan, did you meet everyone already?" Yui asked.
Treize shook her head, "Nove-neesama and Wendi-neesama are the only ones left..." She said.
"Neesama?" Yui blinked.
"Oh...she must have caught that from Deed." Wendi pointed it out.
"Un." Treize nodded.
"Well then, let's go over there and chat ~su." Wendi gave her hand to Treize and smirked, "You're coming too!" Wendi pulled Nove along.
"Wah~ b-but, I'm watching over Cinque-nee!" She said as she was dragged.
"Cinque-nee can take care of herself ~su."

The ones left were Yui and Maren.
"They're all interresting sisters, aren't they, Maren-chan?" Yui said.
But Maren didn't reply...
"Maren-chan?" Yui turned to her.
"Oh...sorry, I was just trying to remember my older sister."
"Hee, so Maren-chan has a sister too." Yui said interrested.
"Yes, but I haven't seen her ever since she left home, when I was still a child." Maren explained.
"Oh..." Be before Yui could say anything else, she noticed someone approaching Koji and Cinque. "Fate-nee?"

Fate, along with Erio, Caro, Rein, Lutecia and Agito walked up to Koji and Cinque.
"Oh, Fate-senpai." Koji got up, turning towards her.
"Koji-sama~~" Rein flew up to him. "I'm back desu~"
"Welcome back, Rein" Koji smiled.
"Excuse me~" and Rein sat on his left shoulder.
"Peh..." Agito folded her arms, ignoring it.

"How is everyone doing over here?" Fate asked.
"Getting along pretty good, Treize is enjoying talking to her sisters."
Lutecia and Agito looked at Treize, "Hoo...so that's the one they were talking about." Agito said, mentioning the talk Caro and Erio had with Lutecia.
"And these two are?" Koji looked at them.
Caro walked closer to Lutecia, "This is Lutecia, but she doesn't mind being called Lu-chan. Right, Lu-chan?" Caro smiled.
"Yes." Lutecia replied.
"Ah, Lutecia Alphino...nice to meet you, I'm Minawa Koji."
"I know." She said.
"Eh?" Koji blinked.
"Cinque talked about you." Lutecia looked at Cinque.
"She did?" Koji looked at her as well.
Cinque simply nodded.

"So..." Koji heard behind him. "You're the one who beat down Cinque when she was still recovering."
"A-are?" Koji sweatdropped, turning around.

Then, Bardiche spoke, [Sir, it is time.]
"Oh...Koji, it's time to go." Fate said.
"...I see." For a moment, Koji's expression changed from its relaxed demeanor to a more serious one.
Yui and Maren walked up to them, "It's time already?" Yui complained.
"But you can still stay here with everyone else." Koji said.
"Noo~" Yui shook her head, "I want to go with Onii-chan as far as I can~"
"Subaru and Teana are here as well, so I don't see any problem with Yui coming with us." Fate said.
Yui nodded, "And I'll wait until you return."
"Are you going somewhere?" Cinque asked Koji.
"Ah...well..." Koji avoided Cinque's look.
But Cinque figured it out right away, "You're going to see the Doctor...right?"
Koji nodded, Lutecia and Agito looked at them as they heard that.

"I'm sorry..." Koji apologized.
"You don't need to worry about it." Cinque smiled.
Maren looked at them, still feeling a bit jealous, (Cinque-san figured it out in an instant, when I...I still don't know the real reason why Koji-sama wants to talk to Scaglietti.)
"Subaru, Teana!" Fate called them.
Hearing Fate call them, they meet up with them, "Yes?" They ask.
"Koji, Maren and I will be leaving now, could you look after Caro, Erio and Treize for us?" Fate asked.
"Yes!" They said. "But...is Master Sergeant Reinforce going too?" Teana asked.
"Of course ~desu!" She said, still sitting on Koji's shoulder, "I'll keep Yui-chan company ~desu."
"Thanks, Rein-chan" Yui smiled.

After saying farewell to everyone, Fate, Yui, Rein, Maren and Koji boarded the helicopter and took off.

"Oh, I missed you so much!" Sein hugged her.
"Cinque-nee...is she..." Dieci paused.
Cinque nodded, "Yes...She's one of us."

After gathering all of the 'sisters', Cinque proceeded to introduce Treize.
Cinque and Sein stood behind Treize, who stood in front of the remaining Numbers.
"Let me introduce you to our youngest sister, who only Sein and me knew about..." She placed her hands on Treize's shoulders.
"Go ahead..." She said with a gentle voice.
Treize looked at them all, and introduced herself "...Treize." bowing afterwards.

The remaining Numbers introduced themselves...
"Dieci"
"Otto"
"Deed"
"...Nove" She blushed.
"Wendi~su" She made a 'V' sign.
Treize looked at each one of them and said, "So many Onee-san..."

"I've realized for a long time now...that even when we're released from this place, we won't truly be free and only go to where we are allowed to."
"Cinque-san..." He worried.
"I'm here because I'm worried about them. I'm worried that without me, they'd be lost and alone in the world."
"They lived most of their lives in that laboratory, and have only seen the battlefield...the world is much bigger than they think." She looked at her sisters again and worried.

Sensing her worry, Koji gently put his hand on top of Cinque's head.
"Ah..." Cinque let out, a hint of red could be seen on her cheeks.
"Don't worry too much." Koji said, "I'm sure everything will be alright...just look forward to a new life with your sisters." He smiled.
"A-ano...you're patting me on the head..." She said.
"Un, this can usually cheer anyone up." He smirked.
"Please don't treat me like a child...it's embarrassing." She looked away.
"Ah, is it bad?" He asked, removing his hand from her head.
"Well, it sort of...felt good..." She muttered.
"Sorry, it's a habit of mine." He tittered. (But at least she cheered up a bit.) He smiled.
"You do that a lot?" Cinque asked.
Koji nodded, "To my little sister...and recently to Treize too."
"You have a sister?" Cinque said.
He nodded again, "Over there, with Wendi-san."

Cinque looked at Yui talking with Wendi, the two smiled and laughed.

Then, Wendi and Yui saw them in that position...
"are? Isn't that Nove and your friend ~su?" Wendi said when she noticed them.
Yui looked as well, "That's true..."
They walked up behind them, "Ne, Maren-chan, what are you doing?"
"Y-Yui?" Maren looked at her.
"And Nove too, what are you doing over there?" Wendi asked.
"Wendi, shhh!" She told her.

Yui looked ahead and saw what they were looking at.
"Onii-chan? ...te...Who's that?" She stared at Cinque, as she spoke with Koji.
"That's Cinque-nee ~su" Wendi told her.
"Hmm...so she's the one Onii-chan fought and defeated back then." Yui remembered.
"Tch...'defeated'...Cinque-nee wasn't at her best at that time, she would have blown him to pieces in an instant." Nove boasted.
"Puu~" Yui pouted, "Onii-chan is strong! His skill with a sword is second only to Signum-nee!"
"Peh...Cinque-nee is known as one of the most powerful amoung us." Nove continued.
The two stared at each other, like they were ready to fight, when...
"Hmph!" They turned their back to each other...

"For a moment I thought they'd start fighting." Maren said.

Sein walked up to them with Treize, "Hey, what are you guys doing?"

Yup, lots of fluff. I was kinda neutral on the whole Cinque thing in the beginning, but it definitely got nicer lower down.

And I come home and I'm all worn out and tired and now even OG1 doesn't make me feel happy and there's so much to do and there's not enough time and there's isn't enough Goose to handle things and it never stops its going and going and goging and goging and the backlog never ever ends and i can't even keep track of it anymore and i barely even have time to sleep and i have almost no time for anything anymore and i can't even rest or do busting tonight because i have to go to church with my parents and....

I don't have any problems with the attack list. Just that String Guard seems a little powerful for his level. While I don't have a problem with having people block attacks above their level, I think that 3 ranks above is a little off... I'd be dropping it down to AA+/AAA at the end of Rebuild when he gets to A+ rank. This may mean that you have to tweak Ring Barrier as well.

Some of her spells are above what would be considered her "power output"
Death's Rasp, Miasma Needles, Black Immolation are the ones that I'm talking about. While Going a rank over isn't too bad IMO, jumping 3 ranks in the case of Black Immol is a little over the top, even with the pre-reqs for the attack.( It would need more cartridges for one)

Emerald Abyss is another spell that is a little dodgy. You said that one of the pre-reqs was Emerald fog. What is that exactly? It's not down in the move list.

She's not too bad though since you've given her no defences at all so it partly negates the abilities above but things can still be tweaked.

Sniper huh? Looks like he'll get along with USB's gunslingers at the very least. Although I'd be keeping his attack ranges down to at least 1000 yards without going too much further. Nanoha is very short ranged combat in most circumstances.

After walking a bit, they found her, "Oh, there she is. Cinque-san!" Koji called her.
Cinque was sitting with Sein and Dieci, while Otto and Deed were sitting nearby.
She turned to them, "Treize." Cinque smiled.
"Eh?" Sein leaned over and saw her, "Treize!"
"Cinque-onee-san, Sein-onee-san." Treize quickened her step to meet up with her.
The other three numbers looked at he young girl, as she was hugged by Sein.

"Yo..." Koji greeted Cinque, she looked at him and smiled.
Cinque looked at Treize, "Have you been a good girl?" She asked.
Treize looked up at her and nodded, "Un."
"Oh, I missed you so much!" Sein hugged her.
"Cinque-nee...is she..." Dieci paused.
Cinque nodded, "Yes...She's one of us."

After gathering all of the 'sisters', Cinque proceeded to introduce Treize.
Cinque and Sein stood behind Treize, who stood in front of the remaining Numbers.
"Let me introduce you to our youngest sister, who only Sein and me knew about..." She placed her hands on Treize's shoulders.
"Go ahead..." She said with a gentle voice.

Sensing her worry, Koji gently put his hand on top of Cinque's head.

"Don't worry too much." Koji said, "I'm sure everything will be alright...just look forward to a new life with your sisters." He smiled.
"A-ano...you're patting me on the head..." She said.
"Un, this can usually cheer anyone up." He smirked.
"Please don't treat me like a child...it's embarrassing." She looked away.
"Ah, is it bad?" He asked, removing his hand from her head.
"Well, it sort of...felt good..." She muttered.
"Sorry, it's a habit of mine." He tittered. (But at least she cheered up a bit.) He smiled.
"You do that a lot?" Cinque asked.
Koji nodded, "To my little sister...and recently to Treize too."
"You have a sister?" Cinque said.
He nodded again, "Over there, with Wendi-san."

Cinque looked at Yui talking with Wendi, the two smiled and laughed.
"Cheerful and energetic isn't her?" She looked at Koji.
"Yeah..."
"She must be one of those persons you want to protect, right?" She looked at him.
"At all costs." He said seriously.
Cinque smiled, looking at them again, "Then what you said is true...we are alike."
"Aa..." He nodded in agreement.

"Now that I think if it...there is another reason I chose to be here."
"And what is it?" Koji asked.
Cinque looked at him and replied, "I have faith." She smiled. "Faith that someday our situation will change...and that's because, there are people like you and your friends around."
"Ehehehe..." Koji tittered embarrassed.

During Koji and Cinque's conversation, Nove and Maren were keeping an eye on them.

Then they saw Koji pet Cinque on the head.

"I'm worried about Koji-sama." Maren replied.

Maren sweatdropped, and went back to worrying (K-Koji-sama~ this girl doesn't even care about gender!)
Nove then remembered what Maren said before, "'sama'?" Nove raised an eyebrow. "What is he, some noble or something?"
"Ah, no, Koji-sama is my master." She smiled.
Nove stayed silent, then looked towards Cinque, (C-Cinque-nee! Stay away! He's into 'that' sort of thing!!) She said to herself.

Then, Wendi and Yui saw them in that position...
"are? Isn't that Nove and your friend ~su?" Wendi said when she noticed them.
Yui looked as well, "That's true..."
They walked up behind them, "Ne, Maren-chan, what are you doing?"
"Y-Yui?" Maren looked at her.
"And Nove too, what are you doing over there?" Wendi asked.
"Wendi, shhh!" She told her.

Yui looked ahead and saw what they were looking at.
"Onii-chan? ...te...Who's that?" She stared at Cinque, as she spoke with Koji.
"That's Cinque-nee ~su" Wendi told her.
"Hmm...so she's the one Onii-chan fought and defeated back then." Yui remembered.
"Tch...'defeated'...Cinque-nee wasn't at her best at that time, she would have blown him to pieces in an instant." Nove boasted.
"Puu~" Yui pouted, "Onii-chan is strong! His skill with a sword is second only to Signum-nee!"
"Peh...Cinque-nee is known as one of the most powerful amoung us." Nove continued.
The two stared at each other, like they were ready to fight, when...
"Hmph!" They turned their back to each other...
"yare yare ~su" Wendi sighed.
"For a moment I thought they'd start fighting." Maren said.

Sein walked up to them with Treize, "Hey, what are you guys doing?"
"Spying ~su" Wendi replied.
Sein tilted to the side and saw Cinque and Koji, "Oh...they look pretty close."

"NO IT'S NOT!" Yui, Nove and Maren shouted.

Sein sighed, "What did Cinque-nee said about privacy?" She rested her arms on her waist.
"Look who's talking, you were always using your IS to sneak up on everyone." Wendi reminded her.
"T-That was for practice!" Sein defended herself.
"Then that time where you snatched my share of cake, that Cinque-nee made, from my own hands, was that also for practice?" Nove entered the discussion.
"W-well..." Sein avoided their gaze. "What can I say...it was good."

Sein left but, Treize was still there.

"And these two are?" Koji looked at them.
Caro walked closer to Lutecia, "This is Lutecia, but she doesn't mind being called Lu-chan. Right, Lu-chan?" Caro smiled.

Then, Bardiche spoke, [Sir, it is time.]

Yui and Maren walked up to them, "It's time already?" Yui complained.
"But you can still stay here with everyone else." Koji said.

"Subaru and Teana are here as well, so I don't see any problem with Yui coming with us." Fate said.
Yui nodded, "And I'll wait until you return."

"Ah...well..." Koji avoided Cinque's look.
But Cinque figured it out right away, "You're going to see the Doctor...right?"
Koji nodded, Lutecia and Agito looked at them as they heard that.

Maren looked at them, still feeling a bit jealous, (Cinque-san figured it out in an instant, when I...I still don't know the real reason why Koji-sama wants to talk to Scaglietti.)
"Subaru, Teana!" Fate called them.
Hearing Fate call them, they meet up with them, "Yes?" They ask.
"Koji, Maren and I will be leaving now, could you look after Caro, Erio and Treize for us?" Fate asked.
"Yes!" They said. "But...is Master Sergeant Reinforce going too?" Teana asked.
"Of course ~desu!" She said, still sitting on Koji's shoulder, "I'll keep Yui-chan company ~desu."
"Thanks, Rein-chan" Yui smiled.

After saying farewell to everyone, Fate, Yui, Rein, Maren and Koji boarded the helicopter and took off.

Some of her spells are above what would be considered her "power output"
Death's Rasp, Miasma Needles, Black Immolation are the ones that I'm talking about. While Going a rank over isn't too bad IMO, jumping 3 ranks in the case of Black Immol is a little over the top, even with the pre-reqs for the attack.( It would need more cartridges for one)

Emerald Abyss is another spell that is a little dodgy. You said that one of the pre-reqs was Emerald fog. What is that exactly? It's not down in the move list.

She's not too bad though since you've given her no defences at all so it partly negates the abilities above but things can still be tweaked.

Oh, you noticed he's gonna fight the White Devil. I was under the impression that 1000 yards (approx 500m?) was only the limit back in the 1960-70s, when people would go "OMG you hit a 1000-yard shot!"

Unless, of course, the Midchildan crackdown on standard weapons caused a proportional decrease in range. He fires like some crazily focused shots, so I think logically he should be allowed to shoot further. It's his genjutsu I'm worried about, actually.

- Scanner isn't working...that pushes the sketches back by say a day or so, till my folks get back.

After walking a bit, they found her, "Oh, there she is. Cinque-san!" Koji called her.

She turned to them, "Treize." Cinque smiled.
"Eh?" Sein leaned over and saw her, "Treize!"
"Cinque-onee-san, Sein-onee-san." Treize quickened her step to meet up with her.
The other three numbers looked at he young girl, as she was hugged by Sein.

"Yo..." Koji greeted Cinque, she looked at him and smiled.
Cinque looked at Treize, "Have you been a good girl?" She asked.
Treize looked up at her and nodded, "Un."
"Oh, I missed you so much!" Sein hugged her.
"Cinque-nee...is she..." Dieci paused.
Cinque nodded, "Yes...She's one of us."

After gathering all of the 'sisters', Cinque proceeded to introduce Treize.
Cinque and Sein stood behind Treize, who stood in front of the remaining Numbers.
"Let me introduce you to our youngest sister, who only Sein and me knew about..." She placed her hands on Treize's shoulders.
"Go ahead..." She said with a gentle voice.
Treize looked at them all, and introduced herself "...Treize." bowing afterwards.

The remaining Numbers introduced themselves...
"Dieci"
"Otto"
"Deed"
"...Nove" She blushed.
"Wendi~su" She made a 'V' sign.
Treize looked at each one of them and said, "So many Onee-san..."
Cinque giggled, "That's right..." She then turned to Sein, "Sein, could you help her talk with the others?"

"O-okay..." Sein found it odd, but she didn't mind, "Treize, let's go talk to Dieci first." She extended her hand to Treize.

Cinque saw them go, and turned to Koji, walking to him.
"Allow me to help." Maren walked up to Sein and Treize.

While Treize was getting to know her sisters, Yui was talking to Wendi, who seemed interested in the topic...whatever it was...
Subaru tried to start a conversation with Nove, but it wasn't going very well.

"Well, it sort of...felt good..." She muttered.
"Sorry, it's a habit of mine." He tittered. (But at least she cheered up a bit.) He smiled.

He nodded again, "Over there, with Wendi-san."

Then, Wendi and Yui saw them in that position...

They walked up behind them, "Ne, Maren-chan, what are you doing?"

The two stared at each other, like they were ready to fight, when...

I never really explain it in the story, but basically, as a Combat Cyborg, even mortal wounds have a chance of not killing her (the same applies to Subaru). When the coroners came to get her, one of Yellow's agents came and got her body, replaced some parts, and was able to revive her.
