I've been pondering why Sergay had such serious injuries consider that he stopped Erstin's child with no more than ripped clothes, the explosion shouldn't have been that bad for him. Makes me think Nagi's troops or even Nina had to use more than a little force to stop him.

i think what aoi did was the most- unselfish act of kindness a human being could do .. its really incrediable, and i understand why she would do such a sacrafice.. because Mashiro was liek a sister and she truly loved her aww makes me want to Cry.

Btw i think Arika would give up her life, she's very selfless acaully and she'd without realizing would take a death blow for Mashiro.

I could imagine that Mashiro being a spoiled brat (Ok, she actually is) because she has no parents or a higher authority to teach her something like that. Arika grew up with her grandma. Real or not is not an issue here because Arika believed that she is and she treated Arika liked her granddoughter. I think that made a lot of difference.

If Arika had raised in a palace without her parents, I think she would have become like Mashiro most likely.

Well, currently Arika would never sacrifice her life for obvious reasons. She'd be pretty stupid to do that.

I agree 100%, excepted I watched the sub version directly.
Actually I won't begin to like Mashiro no matter how many people sunrise will kill for her (that was the purpose for the magical Aoi's appearence + identification:
how on earth can Mashiro be unidentified and some "bodyguard" of her can't)

I'm quite dissatisfied with the last two episodes, after an amazing 16th where I had to do a 3 minute pause right after the OP.

Anyway I liked this 3 day hole: maybe it will make interesting things turn up later in the series.

P.S. Why do they keep making fun of Haruka and depict her as a total moron? Her brief appearance did not seem funny at all, IMHO.

I am speachless,aoi's death was very well done.
Mashiro trying to say something but incapable of talking was excellent.I could reallly tell exactly how she was feeling and what she was thinking.It was great drama,I can't understand the people who laughed at that scene.It's unusual to see anime characters (or all characters) paralysed by fear,it really suprised me.
Aoi is dead IMO,I know that since GS I can't be 100% sure but showing her body would ruin the scene.It's more powerful when you don't see it because you're brain do the rest.
Her sacrifice was impressive,her motivation clear.great and so sad

It's a shame this episode couldn't move more compared to the previous epiosde; I guess my rating of it is a bit spoiled since a lot of stuff happened on episode 17 and now we have this.

On a brighter note, however, Aoi's death is pretty dramatic. The last time I saw someone paralyzed by fear the way Mashiro did, was someone by the name of Edward Elric from FMA.

Regarding Nina... can anyone say, love blinds people?

Finally, Miyu is an android after all. For the record, this wasn't confirmed up until now.

If young Arika had kept refering to Midori as "Grandma" while she grew up, I doubt she'd have reached the age of 14.
