Shit, PLOT TWIST. Despite it seeming like such a calm chapter, there was this underlying tension that had me on edge the entire time -- and with good reason. Man, what a development. Brilliant chapter.

Apparently in WSJ #43 (released on 24 September in Japan, next week for the leaks) Gintama will have the lead colour page and there will be a big announcement.

I don't think it will be the final issue announcement just yet, so I guess another (the final one?) anime series.

The action was good this chapter, but the character lines are getting repetitive. It feels like we've heard some variant of all the lines at least once or twice already, during the SA and FS arcs. Same rehash about struggling and resisting. It was great when it first came out, but seeing it again and again is getting to be a bit much... Maybe Sorachi is getting burnt out from all these consecutive arcs?

Cast list + info for the live-action movie. I guess they're just adapting the Benizakura arc again. And here I thought they would be doing a live-action original.

I'm disappointed that they didn't find a nice pair of glasses to play Shinpachi yet. They found a dude to play his glasses stand, but not a Shinpachi? They better not just throw any old pair in!

Will that be working?? Gintama has very heavy fantasy content beyond holywood potrayal not to mention the absurd gag either. I am not sure we will get 100% Gintama adaption, they will adapt beyond what human technology and capacity coulf do.
The same with Dragon ball this is why evolution failed because these series are beyond comprehension.

Name of the last arc is "Silver Soul Arc". Seems fitting, but dammit, it really hammers that the series is ending. Ona side note, I'm glad Nobume is alive.
