The TSAB has never encountered Caster anywhere either, despite the Riviera’s inexplicable time-hopping capabilites.
What they do know is that Caster has appeared near places where Relics and Lost Logia often appear soon after, hanging around until the Riot 6 returns to base that she disappears as suddenly as she appeared.
Once she became the target of the Drones themselves, indicating that she might be a Lost Logia. Caster’s reply was nothing short of awesome: triple-casting Starlight Breaker EX, Plasma Breaker EX and Ragnarok Breaker EX at the same time, destroying the entire Gadget force and creating so much tremors in the ambient mana that there was earthquakes within 20 parsecs of Mid Childa. By the time Riot 6 got to her, Caster had disappeared once more.
The rookies once saw Caster in person, having somehow managed to teleport into the Riot 6 base, overriding all the anti-transport measures they had. They thought she was a ghost, and fled in terror. But Erio had a spine-chilling story to tell: He saw that Caster had jagged red markings on the only visible part of her, the lower face, for the rest was shrouded in a cloak signature of most Caster-type tsukaima.

The unit was recently formed by Serge after a certain event that made him give up his habit of acting alone. Including Serge it consists of 5 active members and a number of supporting personnel involved in gathering and analyzing data, research and technical maintenance. Though all “Vanguard” members are elite high-ranking mages their trump card is the access to advanced experimental technologies provided by the Intelligence Department.

Anatoly was Serge’s Instructor at the Intelligence Department’s Academy and appeared to be the first person who made Aether Origin change to its combat form during training. He remained in contact with Serge after his graduating and is probably the person closest to be called Serge’s friend. Combat: Anatoly specializes in close combat, combining great strength and agility. He usually overwhelms the opponent not letting him make any offensive maneuvers. Releasing the Device’s final form improves his close range performance even further and also enables the usage of devastating ranged attacks.

Anatoly Belov
Anatoly’s ancestors come from the 97th Non-Administrated World and belong to the Russian nobles.
About 300 years ago a Lost Logia with the powers of interdimensional travel was discovered and used by them.
It also awakened its first user’s magical powers, and since then they’ve been carried on to his descendants.
Anatoly’s family joined Mid-Childian military before the foundation of TSAB, and later supported its development providing some of the best combat mages for the Ground Forces.
Anatoly was first taught magic when he was 6 and since 7 years old he was trained as a combat mage.
Despite his family’s efforts Anatoly grew up as an individualist and strived to stand out among his relatives. He was the first member of the family to become an Enforcer instead of joining the Ground Forces as a regular officer.
Anatoly showed himself as an excellent fighter and tactician and quickly achieved the status of a unit’s commander.
Under Anatoly’s command his unit became one of the elite but was also considered one of the most dangerous to join.
Anatoly always planned the missions to reach the goals with the least risk and at the same time in a way that individual failures of the unit’s members had minimal impact on general chances of success.
He believed that each soldier was personally responsible for his own life and never helped his subordinates get out of trouble if they caused it themselves. He despised deliberate self-sacrifice the most and followed the motto “live and let die” in such cases.
He had multiple issues with the higher-ups regarding several deaths of his unit’s members during missions but he was never proven guilty.
On Anatoly’s last mission as an Enforcer his unit got into enemy trap due to false military intelligence provided to them. Anatoly considered this his fault and ordered his men to break through and escape while he was going to attract enemy attention. However his teammates disobeyed the order and all stayed to fight alongside their commander. In the end Anatoly remained the sole survivor of the battle.
After that he resigned from his position and joined the Intelligence Department as Combat Instructor, later promoted to Head Combat Instructor thanks to his great experience.
When Serge joined Intelligence Department he was trained by Anatoly. The Instructor noticed that Serge never used his full potential during training and was determined to push him to his limits. This finally lead to a mock battle between them which resulted in Serge’s victory, though he was forced to use Aether Origin’s combat forms for the first time (also after the battle 70% of Intelligence Department’s training grounds had to be rebuilt).
Since then Anatoly kept close contact with Serge and is probably the person closest to be called Serge’s friend.
In the last year Anatoly joined Special Section D as Serge’s first assistant.

Combat: Being relatively low-ranked compared to other elite mages, Sarah compensates for it with the ability to mix Mid-Childa and Neo-Belkan types of magic. She always tries to make the best out of her Device’s transformation abilities and is also trained in usage of a wide variety of magi-tech weaponry developed after the prohibition of conventional firearms. Sarah S’Zet
Sarah lost both of her parents 11 years ago during an accident with the testing of experimental weapon based on the gravimetric technology.
Since then she remained the head and the only true member of S’Zet family – one of the richest and most influential independent organizations known to TSAB.
For centuries S’Zet devoted themselves solely to scientific research, but Sarah started to gradually increase the involvement of S’Zet in politics by raising their level of influence inside TSAB as well as strengthening their military.
S’Zet are also suspected to secretly provide sponsorship to multiple underground organizations, mostly involved with development of forbidden technologies. However such connections are almost impossible to confirm.
From the moment Sarah joined TSAB herself she almost immediately became the Head of Intelligence Department’s Research and Development Section and was paying a great deal of attention to the research of Lost Logia.
Apparently she was acquainted with Serge since his retrieval from Haiid 10 years ago, being involved with the investigation of his device.
The status of their relationship since then is unclear but she accepted Serge’s proposal to join Special Section D and is currently his second assistant.

Ramsus Lakarn
As a child Ramsus was found in Mid-Childian sewers by a TSAB clerk and brought to an orphanage. His age at that time was estimated as 5 years old.
Since childhood Ramsus appeared to possess considerable magical powers and exceptional intellect.
At the age of 8 he joined TSAB military, in 2 years became Junior Investigator of Intelligence Department and got promoted to Investigator when he was 14.
Since then he suddenly stopped aiming for further promotions and devoted himself to hunting wanted criminals.
In doing so Ramsus built up a lot of connections among all kinds of bounty hunters as well as in the world of crime. He also earned quite a bad reputation in TSAB for his cruel methods of action and extremely demanding attitude towards his subordinates.
He got acquainted with Serge 4 years ago and since the creation of “Vanguard” was one of his closest assistants.
Ramsus is determined to shed the light on his past and origins, which seem to be connected to the Shepherd Project – an attempt to hasten the evolution of mankind. However no clear links were found, as all the information about the Project was lost when it was closed due to the stop of funding.

Mirian El Meyruun
Mirian was born in a world where summoners were the most common type of mages.
She was a part of world-wide governmental eugenic program aimed at the creation of the ultimate mage who could bring any mental image into reality.
As an intermediate step of the program she was supposed to give birth to the next generation child at the age of 14.
At that point an incident occurred when her powers supposedly got out of control and caused sudden cataclysms all over the world which totally destroyed its population.
Mirian was miraculously saved but everybody else on the planet died, including her newborn child.
Soon she was picked up by TSAB patrol battleship which arrived after detecting a large time-space anomaly that accompanied the world’s demise.
Mirian spent 1 year physically and mentally recovering under the supervision of TSAB medics. After that she was considered completely healthy except the fact that she couldn’t have children anymore.
Despite potential danger she could possess, Mirian was allowed to live on her own and join TSAB on regular terms as she wished. She chose Intelligence Department.
It’s unconfirmed when she was first contacted by Serge but when she became a member of Intelligence Department Mirian was immediately transferred to Special Section D and became one of his assistants.
The most expensive and ambitious project of S’Zet family, it was being developed for the last 10 years and is finally reaching its completion. Currently the cruiser itself is ready but it still lacks independent AI and a fighter escort.
The cruiser is capable of interdimensional travel as well as short range teleportation. It also mounts a hub device for long range teleportation of objects as big as a combat fighter or groups of people up to 10 persons at once. Its main difference from similar TSAB battleships lies in its ability to operate in planetary atmosphere and underwater as well.
Designed to act as a mobile field base for the military commanding body it’s meant to be able to successfully repulse an attack of a small enemy fleet by itself.

Defense:
Conventional Plating - battlecruiser's hull is covered with an extremely thin layer of solid neutronium; only very high-energy or antimatter weapons can damage it relatively easily.
Magical Shields - standard TSAB magical shield drivers are used but unlike regular battleships there're four of them mounted on the battlecruiser instead of one.
Plasma Shields - battlecruiser's energy shielding; may function as a protection sphere around the ship or concentrated pin-point defense, which is most useful against antimatter weaponry.
Directed Shield – extremely powerful short term shield can be generated to block attacks from the chosen direction. Its power is enough to completely negate a blast by Arc-en-Ciel but it only lasts for about 30 sec after which it has to be recharged for a considerably long amount of time.
Zeitblase – a recent addition developed after studying Serge’s device. Connected to the ship’s core, the Device’s powers and the core’s vast energy output are used to create a bubble of magic particles circling at light speed around the cruiser. For any object entering the bubble time slows down to the point of being stopped as long as Zeitblase remains active. The cruiser itself and its crew are unaffected by it.
Niddhogg is the property of Sarah S'Zet and the current field base of "Vanguard" as well as their trump card in any upcoming armed conflict.
So now I have some characters to play around They're free for everyone to mess with too, as long as you keep them alive Some of them may soon join the fun with Tais, if he lives long enogh

ok... im a bit confused so I will just spell it out as i see it, this thread is a little over a month old and in that time we have gone from "We shall not disrupt the Cannon, and only minimal Ace interaction" to "Who cares about Cannon lets do what ever we want^^" (not saying this is bad just pointing out something i see ^^) now we have: fully self aware devices(Sakura), a living device ship (or 3 ), a new mage that is D+ with tentacles....., almost to many OC to count (fixed by Erio), and like 6 forms of Belka magic, the list just keeps going on and on. I just had to laugh at this when I saw it all piled together in my head. This thread has just about left the Nanohaverse and created its on private ASOCverse that happens to resemble the Nanohaverse. All in one month ^^
I fear that the creative power being stored in this thread could destroy the world if ignited. ^^

BACKGROUND
Lancelot was born in a family of blacksmith that lived at the outskirt of Avon. His father died of tuberculosis, leaving him with his mother who later married to the Duke of Birmingham. As the stepson of the Duke, Lancelot was essentially an outcast in his own family, having becoming the target of his stepfather’s constant physical and mental abuse. His mother too was unhelpful, too captivated by the duke’s wealth to even take care of her own son. The young lad had to endure the harsh treatment for years, and with no one to rely on he had to depend to his own self.
Lancelot ran away from home one night after his drunken stepfather brutally beat him to pulp. He headed to Townsend where he spent his few years in the hooligan world and became actively involved in black market and illegal weapon trades. He also ganged up with local pirates and frequently joined them in raiding ships and looting goods.
Lancelot confronted the Imperial soldiers during a raid on the empire’s merchant ship. His fellow pirates fell in the ship-borne fight with the soldiers and Lancelot himself was injured during the battle. He managed to escape capture, though, but not without taking an Armed Device he found in the ship’s vault. He was not seen for several more years, and assumed to be missing.
During the Circle of Mage’s experiment on Excalibur, a 23-years-old Lancelot joined a group of 125 volunteers that included a young Arthur, and he befriended the inspired soldier throughout the experiment. Initially Lancelot was said to be the likely candidate to activate Excalibur due to his vast experience with Spirit Wave and his talent as a swordsman. Even Lancelot was attracted by many prospects of Excalibur; having mastered JENOVA, the Device he pillaged from the merchant ship many years, he was eager to have his hand on the coveted Intelligent Armed Device. To his absolute dismay, Vivian selected Arthur, who happened to her finest protégé, to inherit Excalibur but he suppressed his anger as he had vowed with Arthur never to resort to his angst to solve problems.
As Arthur was appointed to lead Britannia’s military campaigns against barbaric tribes and the Holy Plataea Empire, Lancelot became the young general’s assistant and often aided him in battles. He was basically one step better than Arthur in term of swordsmanship and frequently engaged opposing swordsmen on behalf of Arthur. Despite his battle-hardened wits, Lancelot lacked the charismatic leadership required to lead the troopers, and thus fell behind Arthur who gained better reception by the soldiers.
In spite of his aggressive and sometimes “dark” nature Lancelot was eventually chosen by Arthur to sit the Round Table as one of the twelve Knights. Grateful by the appointment Lancelot vowed to serve the king of Camelot, but as time passed by he again found himself neglected by people around him. Added with the fact that his best friend had married to his former lover Guinevere, Lancelot began seeking the method of channelling his anger and found it in the form of Masamune, the legendary sword of the Valley of the Kings. At first he attempted to steal Excalibur but he found the combination of JENOVA and Masamune too irresistible and used both Armed Devices instead. He attempted to combine the dark power with his own Spirit Wave with success but the process had cost the knight his sanity.
With his Spirit Wave corrupted, Lancelot began to see people around him as pest to Mother Nature and declared that he would cleanse the world off all stain. He first began his quest by challenging the Knights of the Round Table and easily defeated all of them. It was during the decisive battle that he gained the moniker “One-Winged Angel” when one of the knights struck his Crest of St. Michael and split it apart, leaving only one half of the crest (decorated with wing) on his Barrier Jacket.
After defeating the Knights, Lancelot returned home and killed all members of the Birmingham House and burnt down the entire city of Avon. He would then go for indiscriminate killing that put Britannia in reign of terror.
The news finally reached King Arthur’s ears. Devastated by his best friend’s betrayal, and torn apart when it was Lancelot who had killed his wife weeks earlier, Arthur decided to put an end to his tyrant and met him at the Northern Icy Desert. At first the owner of Excalibur was unable to overcome Lancelot, the latter too immersed in his dark power, but he eventually overturned the table at the very critical moment.
Lancelot was finally defeated in the conclusive duel and was left to die in the Northern Icy Desert. Before he breathed his last, Lancelot stated that he “would never become a memory” and warned Arthur that he would return to reclaim what he had lost.

Stirred by the existence of Arthur's descendant, Lancelot returns from underworld and possesses a young thug named Ka**** in order to exact his vengeance. He even influences Ka**** into believing that Mother needs his help and manipulating him to set up a plot against the TSAB -- the Aces, in particular, become primary targets and Lancelot believes by harming the Aces he will force Arthur's descendant to come out and face him in a mortal combat.
Meanwhile, Alexandra is suffering from nightmares where in one of the dreams, she witnesses in horror as a silver-haired slays everyone in the TSAB, including her mentor Joshua. When she tells Hikki about the dream, the Narulian ace tells her she will be forced to face a destined battle with someone "she knows" whether she wills it or not. He refuses to explain on further details because he realizes the situation Alexandra is facing reflects the memory of his encounter with his sister, only more dire.

Anatoly was Serge’s Instructor at the Intelligence Department’s Academy and appeared to be the first person who made Aether Origin change to its combat form during training. He remained in contact with Serge after his graduating and is probably the person closest to be called Serge’s friend. Releasing the Device’s final form improves his close range performance even further and also enables the usage of devastating ranged attacks.

She always tries to make the best out of her Device’s transformation abilities and is also trained in usage of a wide variety of magi-tech weaponry developed after the prohibition of conventional firearms. He possessed considerable magical powers and joined TSAB military as soon as he grew up enough. At the age of 10 he became Junior Investigator, and was promoted to Investigator at 14. Since then he stopped aiming for further promotions and devoted himself to hunting wanted criminals. He and Serge were somehow attracted to each other from the moment they first met, so they arranged Ramsus’ transfer to Serge’s unit. Together they intend to uncover the mystery of Ramsus’ past. Combat: Ramsus uses the abilities of his Device to his fullest advantage wielding an impressive arsenal of sniper and bombardment class spells. Personality: Cheerful and a little childish. However deep within Mirian hides feelings of great guilt and fear. Background: Mirian was born in a world where summoners were common and the government carried on a world-wide eugenic program in order to produce the ultimate one who could make any mental image come true. Mirian was an intermediate step of the program and with her powers considered decent she was meant to give birth to the next generation child at the age of 14. However being so young and experiencing such great fear and pain she lost control over her abilities at the most important moment and when she regained consciousness she was already aboard TSAB patrol battleship which picked her up as the only survivor from the world being destroyed by sudden tremendous cataclysms. It took her 1 year to mentally and physically recover, after which she decided to join TSAB herself. Her unusual abilities were mentioned by Serge who took care of her transfer to his unit. Combat: Mirian is a kind of summoner who brings events into existence instead of material things. Ultimately she’s able to make anything she desires happen, but the ability is somehow limited, which is yet a subject of research. Final form of her Device allows her to ignore some of the limitations by creating multiple summoning circles at once.
The most expensive and ambitious project of S’Zet family, it was being developed for the last 10 years and is finally reaching its completion. Currently the cruiser itself is ready but it still lacks independent AI and a fighter escort.
The cruiser is capable of interdimensional travel as well as short range teleportation. It also mounts a hub device for long range teleportation of objects as big as a combat fighter or groups of people up to 10 persons at once. Its main difference from similar TSAB battleships lies in its ability to operate in planetary atmosphere and underwater as well.
Designed to act as a mobile field base for the military commanding body it’s meant to be able to successfully repulse an attack of a small enemy fleet by itself. Weaponry:

Connected to the ship’s core, the Device’s powers and the core’s vast energy output are used to create a bubble of magic particles circling at light speed around the cruiser. For any object entering the bubble time slows down to the point of being stopped as long as Zeitblase remains active. The cruiser itself and its crew are unaffected by it.

He was basically one step better than Arthur in term of swordsmanship and frequently engaged opposing swordsmen on behalf of Arthur. Despite his battle-hardened wits, Lancelot lacked the charismatic leadership required to lead the troopers, and thus fell behind Arthur who gained better reception by the soldiers.
In spite of his aggressive and sometimes “dark” nature Lancelot was eventually chosen by Arthur to sit the Round Table as one of the twelve Knights. Grateful by the appointment Lancelot vowed to serve the king of Camelot, but as time passed by he again found himself neglected by people around him. Added with the fact that his best friend had married to his former lover Guinevere, Lancelot began seeking the method of channelling his anger and found it in the form of Masamune, the legendary sword of the Valley of the Kings. At first he attempted to steal Excalibur but he found the combination of JENOVA and Masamune too irresistible and used both Armed Devices instead. He attempted to combine the dark power with his own Spirit Wave with success but the process had cost the knight his sanity.
With his Spirit Wave corrupted, Lancelot began to see people around him as pest to Mother Nature and declared that he would cleanse the world off all stain. He first began his quest by challenging the Knights of the Round Table and easily defeated all of them. It was during the decisive battle that he gained the moniker “One-Winged Angel” when one of the knights struck his Crest of St. Michael and split it apart, leaving only one half of the crest (decorated with wing) on his Barrier Jacket.
After defeating the Knights, Lancelot returned home and killed all members of the Birmingham House and burnt down the entire city of Avon. He would then go for indiscriminate killing that put Britannia in reign of terror.
The news finally reached King Arthur’s ears. Devastated by his best friend’s betrayal, and torn apart when it was Lancelot who had killed his wife weeks earlier, Arthur decided to put an end to his tyrant and met him at the Northern Icy Desert. At first the owner of Excalibur was unable to overcome Lancelot, the latter too immersed in his dark power, but he eventually overturned the table at the very critical moment.
Lancelot was finally defeated in the conclusive duel and was left to die in the Northern Icy Desert. Before he breathed his last, Lancelot stated that he “would never become a memory” and warned Arthur that he would return to reclaim what he had lost.
ABILITIES
These are Lancelot’s only known abilities, and it is uncertain whether he has other abilities to date, considering his style as a pure physical fighter.
