The majority of us read them in translated forms. There are the few who can read in Japanese, but I personally don't bother nowadays to go soly Japanese (too "classical" to understand all the slangs and whatnot).

Just checked the 2ch spoiler thread again.

Even those who have read the book are giving conflicting reports regarding Aihana Etsu. Some say it's the name of the #6 and some say it's the name of the guy people thought was the #6.

As for Rensa, she is not a cyborg with the powers of the Level 5s. She is a cyborg that can take in the AIM of any esper within 200 meters and essentially "borrow" that esper's power by using her mechanical parts as an ejection point much like Kuroyoru does with her fake arms.
She can only use one power at a time and after switching to the power of a 2nd esper must re-sample the 1st esper's AIM to use the 1st power again.
She does not have free use of Accel's black and white wings. She can only use them under similar circumstances to Accel. Apparently she was only able to use the white wings while "borrowing" Accel's power, feeling truly cornered, and desperately wishing to protect someone.

Just noticed something odd. When Rensa tried to absorb IB, her arm exploded, right? That sounds like she actually absorbed something, but it wouldn't work because as we know, there can only be one IB. But if IB really has nothing to do with esper powers and AIM, shouldn't it have simply not worked at all?

That's exactly what I meant. I can't read Japanese myself, but from what I've heard Nisio just loves using kanji with multiple meanings, puns, etc., so it's extremely difficult for the translators to even get the right meaning of a sentence, let alone translate it while maintaining his writing style at least somewhat.

Well, everything started when the Misaka clones turned out to be failure. They are biological identical to Misaka, so why they aren't as powerful? The answer is that they become a different person. Everyone have this "secret of life" in their brain that defines who they are and serves as the master portion of the brain, and this is beyond the control of genetics. The portion of the brain that generates ESP power is just the salve portion of the brain. In other words, the "secret of life" is just a obstacle to the scientists that only want the ESP portion part. So what to do? Get rid of the "secret of life", to the they can have a pure chunk of ESP generating brain.
The result? many test subjects have 99.99% of their brain grind away, with their "secret of life" aka their humanity completely removed. What's left of their brain is just a tiny dot that generates ESP, to be put inside Rensha to channel AIM for that mechanical body.

Further surprise, it is Hisako who saved all those test subjects! That is why all the Rensha are so loyal to her. And Hisako was not a insane mad women originally. Hisako went insane because that female Kihara in the white suit copied her thinking pattern into Hisako's mind Dark May Project style.
Hisako was being used and abused by the Kihara all along!

BTW, Kakine network is simply too perfect. I guess that is why Aleister optioned the easier to control No.3 as the building block for Imaginary School District.

As we saw last volume, Dark Matter can create infinite copies of himself, so using something that can fix itself indefinitely would be better than using clones of Mikoto, who can be killed relatively easily. However, that ability would make controlling the clones a lot harder, plus like with Johnny 5, accidents can happen easier.

As I said, the Dark Matter ability is too powerful, what if a Johnny 5 situation happens?

In any case, I doubt creating a bunch of Kakine clones would work, the clones probably wouldn't even have a low Level Dark Matter ability. No, all you would need is Kakine doing what he did in NT6, which would end in Kakine in a Last Order like position. I'm sure you can understand why Aleister wouldn't have found that worth doing.
