No, they've both given indications that either fighting each other is terrifying ("I'd hate to make that bastard my enemy"/"Not sure I can win if he's there"/"Hell no, if I touch Sefi I'll die" ) or that it'll end in a mutual kill.

I agree about the part with sefi though.

Lars liking Sefi would be unexpected since he hardly even talks to her? But it could be fun having Hinako(did i get it rigth?) and Lars together, making 2 human/swordie couple. Well if that happened this wouldn't be an harem story.

Still if past spoilers are correct i can't picture anyone beating kurou as long as he is using that light that makes him bloodthirsty.

Lars was in pretty dire straits when he was fighting against Manaka so it isn't surprising that he did end up at the hospital. Remember, Manaka didn't really go all out when facing them, particularly against Kurou when the battle ended prematurely. I don't think there's really much that can be taken away from that battle. Had it gone on longer Kurou would have probably died.

Spoiler for A rare instance where I will offer some spoilers (vol 7):

I mentioned it in my post before but I'll elaborate a little bit. In the final chapter of vol 7, Sefi and Hinako (Kurou later catches up with them) enter the sun cult base to meet the cult leaders (Hinako's parents). So that was fine and all, except all of a sudden there is an assassination and Hinako's sister (who doesn't care for her at all and sees her as a tool to fulfill her goals, she also leads the terrorism division) suddenly takes over the whole sun cult. The most confusing fight I've ever read ensues and Kurou ends up dead in Hinako's eyes (because her sister got to her head while they spectated the battle, at least that's what believe happened, but he isn't really dead just couldn't tell with all the smoke) so she goes berserk, opens a portal, and a dragon-like thing (this isn't as crazy as it seems since it will get mentioned in vol 3) and a swordie (new harem member summoning skills?) come through. There's a lot of minor stuff that just didn't add up for me (like Kurou using firearms???) and a lot happened as well, which is why I said it was crazy. Overall , take it with a grain of salt since even I was confused as to exactly how this all connects together especially starting from the battle. I would go over it again to gain a better understanding but it was a mediocre battle so these details weren't too important to me.

I would say that is only the case for Kurou. Even Lars has a bit of competitiveness and there is always that looming issue of who will succeed the Sword Saint in the background. Kurou doesn't really care that much and would normally love to avoid fighting whenever possible. Lars isn't quite like that despite his usual calm attitude.

So far there is no romance route for Lars (don't expect there to be either, he's basically just a rival/buddy of some sort), but Kurou has a rather large following at the moment......

His light power is very draining and can't be sustained for long. At best it shows that his light allows him to fight on par with a Seven Sword, but due to luck/direction of the plot/other elements, he never had to battle beyond that duration of light usage.

Lars & Hinako... Not a bad pairing... But it would be super surprising i that happened

Something has been bothering me... Kurou sexually harass Sefi, he sexually harass the student council prez (on their first meeting no less), but he doesn't sexually harass Hinako... Why???

Also, that Freya girl (if my name memory isn't wrong) said that Kurou could get himself a harem because of swordies loving sword, and she seriously told him that while fully aware that he is a human and therefore not welcomed by swordies, she wasn't making un of him
So, I wonder if, aside from Sefi, some other girls got charmed by his sword (I think the prez may become a fan)
Same with Lars, do you think some girls migh fall for his sword??

He doesn't harass Hinako to my knowledge because of the fact to him she's a burden that he deals with and he's afraid if he does something to her he'll lose the lifestyle he wants.
As for sefi i'm not convinced its not her being in love with his swordsmanship as she's in love with him but she disguises it by the whole sword loving thing

At this point we dont know for sure what happened between kurou ánd sword saint, maybe practice going too far, or sword saint turning mad in the practice.
