"Odd Numbers" is my working title to refer to the male Primarchs of Seiou. This is because their order of birth and activation fall on odd numbers, hence Primarch I, III, V, VII up to XXI were male.

Needs a better name seriously, and Adams are just too cliche.

"Eves" is the best working title I've got so far for the female Primarchs, as it is a shorten version of "Even Numbers". By the same reasoning as above, you'll know that Primarch II, IV, VI, VIII up to XXII are girls. Alistina is II.

And yeah Vater indeed. Should've Babeled it to check.

Hmm...good question...
Usually I start with the upper eyelash, then the iris and the glow (one or two, but one is bigger than the other one, usually the one on top) on a corner, I only draw the lower eyelash if it's needed.

Anyway, things just flow from my brain to my hand as I draw them

In that list of events, I put one that was:

I just wrote that scene's draft (on paper), and it has a bit more of development for Koji

Also wrote (on paper) the first part of Chapter 19 and BreakerS Epilogue (that goes parallel to StrikerS' epilogue )

Sakura first created her deck of Spell Cards using the technique that stores spells for a one time use. But she modified the Cards to be more stable than the expendable ones they were based on, only becoming drained upon usage, after which she has to recharge them with mana in order to use them again.

This is because she modified Avalon's sealed form (the "Tome of Life") to become the base of the Spell Cards, granting them more permanence.

It works like the "Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories" combat system, where one has to charge the deck after running through it. Subsequent charges take longer as Sakura gets more exhausted.


Later, when she met Clow Reed who had arrived in her era (he had come through the Caverns of Time on request by Andorzmu), Clow was so impressed by Sakura's handiwork that he adapted the idea for his experiment (which worked too well, resulting in CCS.).


Now here's the Time Paradox:

Arthura Pendragon chose to name herself Sakura after the Cherry Blossom tree. It was also a reference to her favorite mythological character: the Princess of Hope, Sakura Kinomoto, who appears in Ancient Belka mythology along with Hero of Honor Syaoran. Their tale tells of how four strangers, Sakura, Syaoran, Kurogane and Fay arrived in Belka during its Dark Ages and defeated a warlock who had enslaved the city of Antioch and tried to summon Sageras using the Feather.

It is hinted that the Sakura who appears in Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles was the older version of Sakura who appears in CCS...

There is one thing I would like to discuss, and if possible change, though.

First, the current idea is that the Primarchs are constructed from the genetical template of Blau Gotten, correct? I would like to shift focuss away from the Blau Gotten, and more on the Royal bloodline. The Blau Gotten as Lowegear described her is just too much of a wild cart for the Primarch idea to make sense. Why does someone who cares not for war and travels around as a traveling musician need an army of generals?

If the Primarchs were based of the genetic material of the Belkan Royal bloodline, though, it would make more sense. Belka has been, and will be in a state of conflict, after all and they need all the able hands they can get. A group of generals loyal to the royal bloodline would make more sense this way.

Lutecia felt a slight sense of discomfort, remembering what happened the day before...

She could feel it lightly even now, the heat of the burning flames, the sight of that man whom she struck down with her blast, and the face of that little girl she helped the Doctor kidnap...

Along with the cries of that spear wielding boy, and the resounding roar of that black dragon of the other summoner Quattro mentioned...the one with the power to match Hakuten-oh...

None of it should matter to her, it never did over... yet somehow, there was a strange tinge in her heart. Something she sees in Zest's eyes at times... a kind of sadness. Why? Lutecia did not understand. To her, Zest was a great, respectable leader and knight, never faltering, his heart steady and strong, yet that small sadness she sees in him seems so familiar...

Swish.

A sound of the wind played by just as Lutecia felt one of her Insects she sent to the surroundings destroyed. It was just an instant, and like a gust of wind, she couldn't catch it, and the darkness of the night was a foreboding feeling...

What accompanies next like the prelude to the melody's rise was Garyuu's running steps, as light sounds followed by footprints etched themselves on trees, as Garyuu leaped tree-to-tree, each jump and rush faster than the next as his shadow can barely be seen, only proof of his speed through the trees, his eyes shining yellow like a predator's eyes, as he rushed towards the point where the Insects was destroyed, as Lutecia slowly followed, like a child's steps following nothing but a spark of lightning as Garyuu's eyes shined along the trail of the darkness.

A small bonfire, the light and almost non-visible flames ignited was their source of light, as amidst the silence of the forest night, the 3 knights looked up the sky as they embrace the wilderness of the nights for the first time in a while. Sipping a small cup of coffee, Isdera reflected the events of the night before...

From their household, the House of Knights... the image of the rising smoke amidst the darkness, the sounds of destruction, as the Ground Central fell to terrorist attack resonated deeply in their thoughts. It had little to no effect on them, but Saga was cautious as his orders were to leave the House of Knights temporarily, to effectively mobilize if needed to be. After all, Riot Force 6 Headquarters, the place where the Meister of the Night Sky stood, wasn't there anymore.

To Saga, she was safe... that was enough, but regardless... it was just a possible prelude.

The winds blew as something moved... A slow fleeting change in the winds, like a sudden appearance...

Isdera's eyes noticed a slight color within the night, and like a beast drawn by instinct...

"Mikami-ryuu...Issen!" With those words, a circular eclipse of light flashed in an instant, as Zulfiqar was drawn and sheathed back instantly like a flash of lightning, almost vibrating as the proof of the blade's slash evident as the Insect was cleanly slashed in half, as it slowly dropped.

A breath of air, but that was hardly the sign of victory... He was the only pure fighter of the Knights as Saga's away for a while then, and his thumb flashed a slight shine from his sword, pushing its holster out of it's sheath as with a flicker, a black figure came close to his range, as his 2 eyes meet 4, as the ground dirt flew just as a tree collapsed, the two dashed into one another as he drew his sword another time, a clash with the blade on Garyuu's arms.

The shockwave scattered, as Garyuu’s claw cracked a little,hitting the sharp edge of the blade, parrying his high speed strike but the familiar was not faltered as he used that momentum to further increase its speed as it continued slamming its speed around the surrounding trunks of the trees, as Isdera was surrounded by a cage of speed.

“Twish. Slam. Swish. Kruk.”

A repitition of those sounds continued itself. Isdera side-stepped as he felt something flew past him, as he then saw a slight scratch on his cheek, as blood dripped from that small cut. Isdera licked away some that fell to his mouth, as he felt his spirit flared.

“Not bad, beast.”

He slammed the sheathe of his sword on the ground, as he jumped on top of it, both legs looking to get that momentum...

“But this speed won’t be enough to beat me.”

Just as he said that, his leg slammed hard as he too, copied what Garyuu did and started following the movements, jumping around vertical planes ala VTOL, as he quickened his pace in a speed-only zero manueverability aerial dog-fight with Garyuu. The flash of yellow was soon caught up with a flash of silver, as invisible to the naked eye, a high speed clash of claws and blades occurred.

“Clang!”

That was the same sound. It was the same sound over and over... but it was also the final sound as..

“C...ra.....c...k...”

In an instant, Garyuu’s claw on both arms shattered into pieces. Garyuu was taken aback for an instant, as Isdera’s left hand, strengthened by Belka reinforcement lashed out to strike Garyuu’s face, catching a sharp blow near its eyes as it was knocked to the trunk of a tree, its form latching on as the tree trunk was smashed with Garyuu’s weight...

That wasn’t the end as Isdera delivered another heavy blow, as he sent him flying with a overhead kick, knocking him outwards as he flew out of the tree, Garyuu hadn’t given up, but just as he tried to prepare himself to attack again, he found a pair of eyes looking at his eyes point-blank, as his chest had Isdera’s palm on it, a magical triangle forming itself...

“Schlagbruch.”

His palm formed to a fist as a concentrated mass of high velocity wind, akin to a tornado formed around his fistas he slammed Garyuu’s chest, slamming him downwards to the ground as his chest shell broke, a shockwave flying inside his body injuring his internals, just as he dropped unconscious, Isdera too touching the ground safely, as he sheated his sword back, pulling the sheathed blade from the ground.

Just as the battle ended, Lutecia reached the point as she was taken aback, as she saw Garyuu’s fallen body laying flat on the ground and a knight standing, clearly the one who took Garyuu down. Her emotionless eyes saddened at the sight of Garyuu’s blood coming out from his mouth.

Lutecia showed a rare expression of slight anger,as she pointed Asculepius at Isdera, who was just eying her calmly, as she commanded, “Insects.” Summoning several 10s and 20s of Insects, she commanded them as she shot them towards Isdera.

Lutecia's step was taken aback, as she felt a gust of wind threatening to put her off her balance. She opened her eyes from that sudden gale, as she saw Isdera's sword unsheathed, and all the Insects destroyed... with just the blast of wind from the shockwave generated from a high-speed draw and slash...

The knight she is facing is no ordinary knight... he may even be as powerful as Zest. If that was true, then she'd definitely could not win an outright battle with that man.

Lutecia stepped back a little, as things were dangerous. Summoning Hakuten-oh was out of the question as it would put TSAB to notice their position, and Zest wasn't completely healed yet...

"Mind I inquire why the hostility from your guardian beast, young lady?"

Isdera took a single step following his question, which went unanswered... only to sense something from his back...

There was a unspoken pressure, and presence beyond a strong magical response...

He could feel something sharp beyond senses... like an angry, injured beast, who's going beyonds its limits to protect its child.

As their eyes reflected a glint, the both of them jumped backwards, as Zest stood in front of Lutecia and the injured Garyuu, as he simply said...

"Stand back, Lutecia. He is not an enemy you can defeat."

With those words, Lutecia nodded as she moved away along with Garyuu which returned to her Boost gloves, just as Zest's thoughts were then fully focused, as he swung his spear downwards with force of ferociousness, Just as Isdera too, readied his pose, in response...

"Isdera."

"Zest."

An exchange of names, followed by an exchange of strikes. A sharp thrust, heavy in the weights of the larger knight, clash as the side-strike of the blades weigh heavily even with that parry, as the continuous exchange of metallic sounds, just as each sound follows with a explosive respond of golden and silver burst out towards the surrounding forest areas. In less than several minutes, several meters of the radius of their battle was filled with chopped trees along with scorching ground from their magical reaction.

It was a greeting of knights.

Trees being torn apart, a small crater within the center of the bewildering forest of greens in the night, as a small tornado formed itself in the center of that crater, within that small gust of dissipating golden tornado of raw magic by Zest and genuine formed gale of gust by Isdera’s magic...

Even with the deafening sounds of winds playing the the leaves shooting upwards with the spiraling night gale, a sound dwarves that, as Agito saw Zest’s spear and the other knight’s sword smashing against one another...

Isdera felt a pressuring power pushing his sword downwards from the larger, more overwhelming knight in front of him, as holding the sheathe of his sword, he drew it from his side as he slammed the spear sideways...

Stepping his left leg forward, Isdera took that moment, as he held his sword strongly as he leaped forwards, like a fierce tiger towards his prey with an overhead slash...

“Danna!”

Agito’s worrying voice reached, but there was no response... there was no need to, as holding his spear sideways, that slash was parried by the center of the spear’s rod as Zest held on... Isdera’s blade and weight pressed down on him, a gust of wind in both directions fleeting Isdera and Zest... as his legs sunk deeper into the ground, as his grip weakened, feeling his body’s weakened response... His body’s strength was weakening with each second, and in comparison to the young knight in front of him...

All he could do is rely on his experience as a Striker.

As he felt his spear slowly being overwhelmed by the pressure, he quickly let go of his gauntlet arm to hit the sword sideways, as Isdera’s strength was pushed back by the sideway attack from his fist, as the both of them leaped back for their distance...

They looked at each one’s eyes... neither moved for a moment, knowing that it was a decisive moment...

As the tornado continued blowing, creating a ring with them as the center, an unsuspecting leaf flew into the circle from the walls of the typhoon...

It was less than a second. The leaf blocked their eye-contact, but they felt the glint of each other’s eyes behind that wall of green, as the sounds of their weapons was enough proof.

[Explosion.]

Each strike closes in to break, with no thought of stopping, each blow fast and precise. Exchange of thrust so fast afterimages felt blurred. The attacks continued for both, raging. That rage is only a repitition, each strike sharp, lacking in power, but not of precision and speed.

Agito's eyes felt tired... 30 times? 50? 100? She couldn't tell... No, I doubt anyone could. It was like trying to count rains with human eyes, as the heavy rains of sword and spear pours, like a waterfall. No... like a vacuum of blades of steel. Like a thrust of light, flying lights of weapons.

"Swish. Clang. Kling. Klang. Clang!"

Over a hundred blows, over and over... yet each time was the same as the last. There was no victor, no loser... just lights of an equal battle, like fireworks...It was...mesmerizing.

Agito and Lutecia could only watch, as the shadows of the 2 knights were enveloped inside that whirlwind of power, a representative of their overwhelming pressure... Agito felt a shiver as she felt a striking sense of nostalgia...

Slowly, she felt the pressure of their surroundings lessened, as the air shrouding them became less and less concentrated, as the gust of wind became centralized on the dual knights.

And once again, a sound of loading cartridges.

Which swing of the blade was first, what happened, how it started, Lutecia and Agito didn’t know. Agito, enraged, shot a barrage of fireballs off to Isdera.

“I won’t allow you to harm Danna further!!!”

Lutecia followed suit.

“Inzects.”

Once again, the attacks were futile, as the blades slashed the Inzects and the fireballs apart, dissipating their flames...

“I’ve once faced a knight with a flame akin to yours, Ancient Unison Device... but one more powerful and vivid. Your fire is strong as well, but it is not one which is meant to destroy, but one to support a stronger flame. A flame of a Lord.”

Agito was angered, taking his advice as mockery but she ignored that, as taking advantage of his unresponsive situation, went to tend to Zest, who was already standing up, holding his spear once again, ready to continue his battle.

“Danna, let me help-“

“No, Agito... stand back with Lutecia. I’m sorry, but you won’t be much of a help against him...”

“If that’s the case, then Unison should-“

“That is not good as well... With my body’s current condition, I won’t be able to use your flames effectively. Besides, if we unison now...the next time, I probably cannot...”

“Danna...”

Agito’s concern... to be concerned..that was the only thing she could do.

“Come, Ancient Belkan Knight.” Once again, the knights readied their blades, their battle far from over. Isdera sheathed his sword once again, as he accepted Zest’s nod of the battle, his legs pressing their weights on the ground, ready to draw and attack...

“Belka-Mikami-Ryuu.”

His grip reaffirmed his place on his blade, a single cartridge shooting into the air.

“Yamato! Orochi! ISSEN!”

His blade drawn, a gust of wind shot out from his sheathe of the sword, as small spirals of tornadoes shot itself out in gales of eight, from all fronts, as the eight lashed out towards Zest, like a snake of 8 striking to their prey.

Was it the end of the battle?

Strange... before my eyes, I can see shadows of snakes, trying to destroy me, consume me... The winds hitting my body, I feel the pain rushing through the veins... I suppose it's proof that I am still alive.

I am not afraid of death. I have many regrets in my life, many things I couldn't protect, but in the end, I am but a dead man living on borrowed time, a life that is holding on to the small flame of a dying candle.

However, even for someone like me, I still something I must do. I still have people I must protect their future!

However, to have many regrets does not mean to live my life pursuing those regrets to my end.

That is why I cannot die. Not yet! Not until I've finished what I should, and end my life not as Failed Relic Weapon Zest... but as Zest Gruntgieze.

To save the theory, I made it so that General Sugita and Sakura even though they were in the background, they ran most of show while Seiou had her merry way. But I also intended for Seiou to have her sane moments where she'd shine, patching rather patchily a theory with a leak.

OK looks like a review is due. But this time I'll retcon all the FOR GOD EMPRESS H***** warcries, even that brief omake short of Kha's response to Kay's presentation about Blau Glotten. But since they are all outside of "written fanon", I suppose they can dropped rather easily.

“I’ve once faced a knight with a flame akin to yours, Ancient Unison Device... but one more powerful and vivid. Your fire is strong as well, but it is not one which is meant to destroy, but one to support a stronger flame. A flame of a Lord.”

Agito was angered, taking his advice as mockery but she ignored that, as taking advantage of his unresponsive situation, went to tend to Zest, who was already standing up, holding his spear once again, ready to continue his battle.

“Danna, let me help-“

“No, Agito... stand back with Lutecia. I’m sorry, but you won’t be much of a help against him...”

“If that’s the case, then Unison should-“

“That is not good as well... With my body’s current condition, I won’t be able to use your flames effectively. Besides, if we unison now...the next time, I probably cannot...”

Agito’s concern... to be concerned..that was the only thing she could do.

“Come, Ancient Belkan Knight.” Once again, the knights readied their blades, their battle far from over. Isdera sheathed his sword once again, as he accepted Zest’s nod of the battle, his legs pressing their weights on the ground, ready to draw and attack...

His grip reaffirmed his place on his blade, a single cartridge shooting into the air.

“Yamato! Orochi! ISSEN!”

His blade drawn, a gust of wind shot out from his sheathe of the sword, as small spirals of tornadoes shot itself out in gales of eight, from all fronts, as the eight lashed out towards Zest, like a snake of 8 striking to their prey.

Was it the end of the battle?

This reminds me of the barrier of colliding blades that even held of the rain in the first scenario of DMC 3!

This is INCREDIBLY EPIC!!!! Way better than what they show us in the anime! Damn, I feel like I've done Signum a great injustice for not going with better details in the fight scenario I did a while ago. Ah, well... I guess I still have much to learn.

Though Zest going Full Drive again is . And Isdera seems to be doing better as he is right now compared to how he was when he was still alive. That Orochi attack reminded me of somebody (Ryu was it?) from Shaman King.

Actually, two unexpected reversals tore my theory apart. The previous block is the first problem that I just found out.

UPDATE TIME! Zest vs Isdera Part I.

Agito’s body levitating moved, in the direction where Zest suddenly ran off to earlier, just as she and him both sensed Lutecia’s presence, and Garyuu’s... She was in trouble. Biting her nails, Agito flew as fast as she could, despite being not as rough and fast as Zest’s extreme burst of speed...

She was extremely worried. If it was any other time, worrying about Danna wouldn’t be so troublesome, but it was only a day ever since his fight with that red knight, Vita. Even though he’s recovered slightly after some sleep and her medicine, he was only at 80%... at best.

As she saw Lutecia tending to Garyuu, she fastened her pace, just as the winds around her roughened, as she looked at the direction Lutecia was staring her worrying eyes into...

Trees being torn apart, a small crater within the center of the bewildering forest of greens in the night, as a small tornado formed itself in the center of that crater, within that small gust of dissipating golden tornado of raw magic by Zest and genuine formed gale of gust by Isdera’s magic...

Even with the deafening sounds of winds playing the the leaves shooting upwards with the spiraling night gale, a sound dwarves that, as Agito saw Zest’s spear and the other knight’s sword smashing against one another...

Isdera felt a pressuring power pushing his sword downwards from the larger, more overwhelming knight in front of him, as holding the sheathe of his sword, he drew it from his side as he slammed the spear sideways...

Stepping his left leg forward, Isdera took that moment, as he held his sword strongly as he leaped forwards, like a fierce tiger towards his prey with an overhead slash...

“Danna!”

Agito’s worrying voice reached, but there was no response... there was no need to, as holding his spear sideways, that slash was parried by the center of the spear’s rod as Zest held on... Isdera’s blade and weight pressed down on him, a gust of wind in both directions fleeting Isdera and Zest... as his legs sunk deeper into the ground, as his grip weakened, feeling his body’s weakened response... His body’s strength was weakening with each second, and in comparison to the young knight in front of him...

All he could do is rely on his experience as a Striker.

As he felt his spear slowly being overwhelmed by the pressure, he quickly let go of his gauntlet arm to hit the sword sideways, as Isdera’s strength was pushed back by the sideway attack from his fist, as the both of them leaped back for their distance...

They looked at each one’s eyes... neither moved for a moment, knowing that it was a decisive moment...

As the tornado continued blowing, creating a ring with them as the center, an unsuspecting leaf flew into the circle from the walls of the typhoon...

It was less than a second. The leaf blocked their eye-contact, but they felt the glint of each other’s eyes behind that wall of green, as the sounds of their weapons was enough proof.

[Explosion.]

A simultaneous sound of loading cartridges, the sound of steam being released in the air, and the clink of metal falling to the ground...

That was the signal.

Rushing forward, each step’s a sound to a closer resonance, a battle’s sonata playing as it started with a thrust, the edges of their blades hitting each other, the sharp peak slamming into one another, the screeching sound of metal grinding one another in molecular levels enhanced, as they put all their strength into it...

Like an repulse of energy, the blades was simultaneously pushed back together, an equal test of power. They slammed their blades again, and soon, that test of strength became a dance of blades.

It was a unorthodox dance of swords. Heavy bladed weapons of Belka, one a double handed sword and another, a heavy polearm spear... were hitting each other with high speed thrust, the masters of those weapons making those weapons look like a parry of rapiers hitting one another at an inhuman speed.

Twirling gust of wind. The old, and the ancient, spear and sword at hand, the knight's bullet fires rapidly.

Each strike closes in to break, with no thought of stopping, each blow fast and precise. Exchange of thrust so fast afterimages felt blurred. The attacks continued for both, raging. That rage is only a repitition, each strike sharp, lacking in power, but not of precision and speed.

Agito's eyes felt tired... 30 times? 50? 100? She couldn't tell... No, I doubt anyone could. It was like trying to count rains with human eyes, as the heavy rains of sword and spear pours, like a waterfall. No... like a vacuum of blades of steel. Like a thrust of light, flying lights of weapons.

"Swish. Clang. Kling. Klang. Clang!"

Steels clanging against one another, clashes like an orchestra, sparks expanding, but without any sense of heat as their battle, was vacuum-like. Amidst an tornado of magic, their exchange only served to increase that rotation, as their battle sucked in the air of surroundings.

It was like a wall telling "come in, and die in pieces."

Over a hundred blows, over and over... yet each time was the same as the last. There was no victor, no loser... just lights of an equal battle, like fireworks...It was...mesmerizing.

Agito and Lutecia could only watch, as the shadows of the 2 knights were enveloped inside that whirlwind of power, a representative of their overwhelming pressure... Agito felt a shiver as she felt a striking sense of nostalgia...

“Where...had I...seen this...before?”

Slowly, she felt the pressure of their surroundings lessened, as the air shrouding them became less and less concentrated, as the gust of wind became centralized on the dual knights.

Everything was coming about. The end of the dance of the blades as the winds of magic played its tune of climax...

A last strike of blades. That was the end just the winds holding their invisible ring was at its limits...

Their bodies unmoved, Isdera’s sword shifted to his left, Zest’s spear to the right, their muscles tensed, as they ended their charade of lancing exchange, as every power drew into this strike... their grips tightened as their eyes focused.

And once again, a sound of loading cartridges.
