What a beautiful dream! I've always wanted to go to Shikoku and sit in the fog at a shrine or in a library curled up with with a cup of tea and a book.

Unrealistically, I also dream of sitting in a gondola in the canal on the hill from ARIA. I mean, getting lost in the streets and canals of Venezia in general would be a wonderful experience, I think. But I am particularly haunted by that canal on the hill overlooking the city. I am pretty sure the creators of the anime/manga just made that place up - but one can dream, right? *looks wistful and nostalgic*

Tibet.

Actually, this picture was taken near the edge of Tibet Plateau in Sichuan Province.

More pictures from someone's travel log.

This scene is actually pretty famous.

I want to see the whole world, and mainly go to developing countries. Many of the main places such as France, Germany, Japan (major developed countries) are on my list of course as well, but not a top priority. I won't turn down the opportunity to go to any of those places though.

I want to see more of the middle east since that's where my recent travels have left me, Japan is higher on my list than most developed countries more so because I have friends who I'd like to meet. I do vlog about my travels, just throwing out that little shoutout for anyone interested, and being that it's not exactly off topic here. Link in siggi below :-)
In my feed I have a little announcement about my most recent plans, if anyone has any ideas for me, let me know. I also hope to possibly interview soldiers and/or residents if the opportunity arises. Same goes if anyone has any question ideas :-)

I'd like to go to South Korea to study Baduk and go to some of the esports events

Also to Scotland to tour all of the whiskey distilleries.

So many countries I'd like to see in my life that I couldn't begin thinking up a list. In light of this being an anime forum, of course Japan is somewhere on the higher end of my spectrum, but difficult to quantify. I purchased a plane ticket for a nice stay in Costa Rica a while back, packing my bags this February, so that should be exciting.

I think living where I live (Ireland) is a great benefit as there are so many countries & cities to visit that are close by and cheap to get to but obviously being an anime/manga fan my dream is to visit Japan but its damn expensive and one of the few places that are a bit harder to get to from my neck of the woods sadly.
