Anyway decent fight this week, the better part of Cell vs Goku fight is next week though (with the much better animation team) also make sure to watch the preview it's funny.

Episode 88.

Ah, good to see that although they kept the scene of Cell using Tenshinhan's "Four Body Technique", they removed the stupid reference of Tenshinhan's cells also being used in Cell's creation, only keeping this line:

"I hate to admit it, but Cell has made my technique his own and perfected it."

Gohan's reactions to the fight are interesting to listen to. Both with him wondering why Goku hadn't gotten serious already and wondering why everyone was so surprised by Goku's full power

. Just shows how training with Goku distorted things for him, seeing Goku with that much power is just natural since he's so close to it.

Fight is moving along well.

That wasn't a new piece of music

. It was used for Vegeta's Final Flash.

Fantastic episode overall, with some very good music placement. Next week we see without a doubt the best looking episode in the whole of the series. I can't wait.

Oh I actually watch this show... felt like bootin' up some SSJ epicness again! Next episode looks very promising, really hyped. And Vegeta's comment about Mr. Satan this episode made my day.

He probably shouldn't be the one to talk though, given how he comes back cockier than ever after every smackdown.

But oh man, I almost forgot how intolerable Mr. Satan is. It's the only time in Kai I actually considered fastforwarding over.

I don't really want the new music placement to beat it. As long as it does the job, then i'll be pleased. Music placement has been A+ since the start of the show, so i have no worries.

2. If by intolerable you mean hilarious, you're right. And man I've seen some people bash Unshou Ishizuka's portrayal of him but that's obviously them trying to be cool by 'remaining faithful' to the previous voice actor just cause he committed suicide earlier this year. Ishizuka's been A+ and totally sells Satan's comical charlatan image.

Anyway, cool episode but the next one should be on a whole other level of awesome. Just look at dat animation in the preview, damn forgotten how well animated this fight was.

I have to agree about Satan. I can get the comedy factor for some, but honestly here he's just annoying. Couldn't help myself fast forwarding through some of his parts.

Since that scene is one of the most heart-stirring tearjerkers in the franchise, I'm hoping they use THIS particular motiff.

2) The bird representing the flight of 16's soul to heaven, as well as the end of Gohan's innocence.

3) And yes, heart stirring though it may be, notice how this is the first time you see a Super Saiyajin shed tears, carried to the heavens by his Messianic Fury and Grief.
