i'm extremely shocked how Kotonoha was able to... "trick" makoto with her body, then use a picture to finish sekai off.
i mean... it is so different from her usual self that i'm just wondering how far every girl are able to do to grip that yaro for good.

the worst thing is when makoto heard the truth about Kotonoha and sekai, he was like outraged that kotonoha did this to sekai but then just loses his willpower to argue, and got into lovey dovey mode...

geh, i'm kinda amused of setsuna intervention in the end... lots of troubles with this. i was expecting some crazy scene with kotonoha, but nothing, huho...

thus... i think the end is quite secondary... the main story shall most likely be more painful to watch, and i'm wondering if the characters will act just like i have seen in the above end X_X

all KGNE...makoto (takayuki) failed terribly with kotonoha (haruka) as expected during their date, so our heroine sekai-sama (mitsuki) comes save the day! Heck even the end is the same (with a kiss)! The slap was well deserved thou, kotonoha should have went on suzu-mode and give makoto multi-slaps

Basically, when Kotonoha was tricking Makoto with her body, in fact, with her cellphone she took a picture of Makoto who was sucking her breast...

that basically destroyed right away sekai, who didn't have any clue of any "sexual" relationship with Kotonoha.

Not only it was really shoking, but Kotonoha was really acting slutty and taunting sekai all the time.


after that, Makoto was wondering what happened with sekai, but Kotonoha plays dumb (she even says "i don't remember"). Makoto is suspicious, and still ask, and gets quite angry.
Kotonoha finally admits that she said something to sekai and she gave up. then she shows her cellphone and the picture...
Makoto was outraged, but after not even 2 minutes, he got lovey dovey since kotonoha was playing around with her charms.

This is one of the big twist i could find, and i'm sure there are various of them (especially involving Sekai's friends, which aren't that friendly either...)

This anime definitely has lots of potential, everything depend of which path and execution the studio will take.

Hot! Well i dont see how it is really a good ending then, i guess its a good ending with kotonoha. I am actually not surprised with what kotonoha did. It is obvious that she is willing to go the distance to get her objectives accomplished. EX: In the bad ends, she killed sekai afterall and herself in the other bad ending.

BTW can you provide the source where you got this pls? Since the wikipedia one did not give mention to this other than say its a good ending with kotonoha...thanks

Wow, I didnt expect that out of Kotonoha, to me I throught that she is just a sweet, shy girl, but Sekai isnt holy either. To the end, I think that Motoko wasnt a sex machine, he could been in a good loving relationship without all this drama. Poor Setsuna

I downloaded both the game and a torrent with all video scenes ripped, mainly coz I wanted to know what the violent game endings were about that everyone was talking about.
It's pretty sick and bloody to say the least.

But the anime seems to be going in a different direction so far. Unlikely that they'll use one of the game endings for the anime.

The anime Episode 1 used the complete Episode 1 of the game. What makes you think it's going in a different direction?

Ok, so we all know Makoto is a loser. But now that some people have watched Episode 2, you'll probably see that he's not the only one with some issues.

As explained a bit in this episode, Kotonoha was an early bloomer, and because all the girls around were probably jealous of the attention she got, they started to pick on her. This left her with a bad impression of her body and pretty much grew into a fear of attention from the opposite sex.

As much as I'd like to say Makoto is coming on too strong, he's a normal inexperienced horny teenager. What he's doing right now in the anime is not far off from what a teenager would try to do with a girlfriend at his age (let's not talk about the porno mag here). The anime portrays him as making his move on Kotonoha in a really goofy way, but in reality he's done nothing wrong. He's just trying to kiss his girlfriend. As soon as Makoto understood how Kotonoha felt, he backed off and gave her some room. He was actually patient with her after getting slapped (imagine getting slapped by someone who you're going out with just for trying to kiss her... wouldn't you be annoyed ?). The one who is at fault in this episode is actually Kotonoha, who couldn't communicate how she felt to Makoto and panicked, and would have easily ruined the relationship if not for Sekai's intervention.

Hey someone's gotta argue for Makoto for a bit....

I'll just say this, I think Kotonoha is a Goddess. It's always been sad for me to watch her get picked on by the girls in her class, and even worse to watch her treat herself as nothing but a piece of meat as she starts using her body to keep Makoto interested in her. It's such a waste. I hope the anime touches on some of these issues in detail... instead of becoming one of those adaptations where they have every character show up for an episode to do a useless jig dance just for the fans

Well obviously I also believe she has her problems. Her lack of confidence + lack of experience leads her to overcompensate and make some really poor decisions. I didn't mean that she was "perfect" when I said she was a goddess, but rather her character has other qualities and potentials that makes her very attractive

i don't hate makoto right now the only thing i feel he has done wrong was push Sekai but even that you sorta understand. The first date well heck it happens to all of us especially if it's you're first one. Many people hate him because of the game, nobody knows how it is going to turn out here. Put you're self is his position im sure many guys out there would maybe think the same things he does so.

Anyway I don't think this is going to end with a "bad ending". And personally i really don't want to have a blood fest with this especially if you're like me and have not played the game you just don't see it with these type of characters.

I have to agreed with angel_wing0, that she should use her brains then her body to keep him, I know that Sekai was doing the same thing, I think. But at the end, I know that she has her problems with her confidence and experience but there was better ways to keep him besides using her body and falling into the abyss that lead her into her downfall.

Ah that's when you have to start thinking does she have the capacity to do anything else other than her current decision. You can't expect a character to do something that is out of context with the experience they had in life and her actions matched her way of life precisely.

How does that fit with the fact that she uses her body to keep makoto? Well as most people said because she is closed and isolated, she lacks experience on how to socialise with people in general let alone a guy, the only thing she knows is that girls hate her because of her body and that guys like her because of it. with that ideal in mind she uses the only thing she knows from the years of persecution to keep makoto.

But in my opinion, she shouldnt use that angle to get to Makoto, I know that she was persecution from the other girls because she is a early bloomer. She should just use her brain to find a way to win him over without using her body. Also in her mind, she think that was the only way to have him to herself, since Sekai is always close to him, Setsuna is in the class toobut doesnt have the attractive body like her but she also have strong feeling for him too then other girls that was in contact with Makoto, maybe in her mind, that was the only way to get him all to herself was to use her body. To me, she should use some other way.

Just watched the chinese subs ep 2~ (so WIN!)

NOTE: reading a dating book at a train station when your date can come any minute is a BIG NO NO. Watching porn at a bookstore where your date is <10 m away from you is another NO NO. Makoto is just inexperienced. I cannot say I hate him, but there is a limit for being stupid. @@ Howeverm I have to say I am VERY VERY impressed with sekai's skills. She handled Makoto well to maintain his confidence and she OWNED kotonoha when she want to take the bus home instead of the train so that she does not have to meet makoto (who is waiting at the train station). Another highlight of the ep is when sekai goes "haruhi" (aka breast foddling) on kotonoha...so haruhi-like. xD

This is a quote that I find strange...

"because I always have the biggest chest starting from primary school, i always get bullied and made fun of." I donno but is that realistic?

This ep is just so win, but its 99% KGNE, althou imo sekai did more than mitsuki to reconcile their friends' relationship.

Remember her way of thinking and action must correspond with the experiences she has gained through life. It's impossible to just tell someone to use their brain and find another solution when that one solution was all life gave them in terms of experience. You can't expect someone like kotonah who is so isolated and introvert to suddenly have a epiphany and come up with another solution to get makoto.

then she doesnt deserve makoto, PERIOD. Sekai deserves makoto since she always do the dirty work and she doesn't even ask for anything in return. I really feel bad for her at the end of ep 1, especially when u watched the ONA where she is crying in the train...

Yep, that is true, she doesnt deserve him at all, Sekai hooked them up, stay by his side, give good advice, and etc. Right now, she was the better choice, but if Mokoto wasnt a fiend that only thing he wants was sex from everybody, then we wont have "School Days"
