In any case, I guess Setsuna's still somewhat respectable because she had truly good intentions despite taking a bad course of action...

Even then, I'm finding it really hard to like any of the characters in this show.

lol don't underestimate them. they could still pull out a fivesome path with makoto, sekai, katsura, kato, and setsuna. Makoto will come up with a good enough BS reason that will even keep setsuna from leaving.

they all did a bunch of terrible things but Makoto is the one that caused them to do so most of the time. I don't hold anything against the girls really.

I do...I strongly dislike Otome, even if on this ep she was apparently a bit better, and I don't really like any of the others except perhaps Setsuna. It'd be too long to explain, but I can't really sympathize with any of the other girls (though I do pity Kotonoha), and even Setsuna doesn't seem to be too smart.

The only thing i was sure about in my predictions in this episode was that the tape would be seen and that something significant would ring Makotos tiny little brain and it would actually make an impact. This is exactly what i had been waiting for and even though it was not as direct as i would have liked it it was still somewhat effective given his expression and the fact that he went to the airport after Setsuna. I would really like to know what he wanted to say to her as it might have been a clue to what is going on in his head.

hey have been combining several things and parts of endings from the game in the anime. I cant help but to think that we are purposely being mislead. Is it possible they are using this to through viewers of track but will end up giving us an original ending instead?

That's actually what I and Skyfall believe.
Frankly, i stopped to deduce something serious, ever since otoms's involvement in the fray last week.
It is very clear the scripters tried to surprise everyone, gamers included, and put the emphasis on the "unpredictable" aspect of SD.
However, i feel it so dumb and messy that it doesn't make sense, and it isn't exactly an adaptation (granted, the game wasn't that great and i was expecting something feshed out and refreshed)

they could do something original and working, but they erratically mixed so much things it is scary.
Odds it is a original end are HIGH. but like Skyfall says, maybe i'm the wife might work here.
outside of this, it is nearly impossible to use any other game ending.

Well this is how I hope the rest of the anime goes:

Kotonoha: DOUBLE KILL
Kotonoha: TRIPLE KILL
Kotonoha: M-M-M-MONSTER KILL!!

Anyway, I've begun to hate almost every character I loved from the start of the series. And to think they are in high school...kids these days.
So how many possible love children does Makoto possibly have now? 3? 4? I still don't understand why they all just throw themselves onto Makoto. Better than Taisuke I guess. Oh yea, even Taisuke seemed like one of those funny people that they put in an anime for perverted things to get a little laugh outta us, now I just hate him too.

We need a School Days Action game where Koto is chasing down all the students in the school. She can pick several differents types of weapons in the school.

Far out. I used to be one of the people to give Makoto a chance, but now I realise that the story writers WANT us to hate him.

At this point this is the ending I want:
- Kotonoha goes stabbity stab on Sekai on the bridge
- Kotonoha quickly trains it up to Setsuna and goes stabbity stab before she escapes on the plane
- Makoto lures Otome in the gym room for the promise of Makoto nookie, but .... it turns out its Kotonoha in a boys school uniform wearing a Makoto wig!!! She locks the door and goes stabbity stabzzor!
- Otome manages to send a distress signal to her gang of whores with her pink phone, and they break into the gym just as Otome dies from blood loss from a knife in the eye. Kotonoha turns around with those lifeless eyes and says "Who do you think I am?? GIGA KNIFE BREAKER!!!" and she disappears. A second later she reappears behind the whore gang with her knife to the sky. The whore gang suddenly explode in blood and collapse
- The last scene is Makoto lying in a bed, the camera zooms on his face. He has a lifeless look. Off camera we hear Kotonoha grunting and enjoying herself. The camera suddenly zooms out and we see that Makoto's arms and legs have been chopped off, the stumps bandaged cleanly. Kotonoha is enjoying herself in the woman on top position. Her eyes are lifeless, but she has an evil grin on her face. "Makota ga suki" is her final words.

Anata Ga Inai End music starts blasting at full volume! (have to put the soundtrack in)

LMAO then all we have to do is sit back and wait for the sequel "Convicted Days" staring Katsura.

Yeah you are right the writers want us to hate as a matter a fact they have taken it to the next level making sure that pretty much anyone who has a heart and or a brain hates Makoto. I would call it misdirection because they do it in books all the time and this is so horrifying obvious it hurts, but thats just my guess or on the other hand he really is dick and that have gotten their point across very nicely . I wonder why they have taken so much time to make sure the audience hates Makoto (hint hint nudge nudge in Aceywacey's general direction)

This is a complete mess, but if they manage to make a decent ending out of this, I'll have to give them a thumbs up.

In the scene with Setsuna, I see her as giving into Makoto rather than stopping him (in a manner quite similiar to Sekai).... I mean, we can't really see Makoto's face to see if she actually stopped him so it's all up for interpretation, but we CAN clearly see her going from struggling to hugging him BEFORE she says anything else. That's why I see part of the intentions for her offer as her own justification for what she's about to do.

Btw, from what I can hear, the offer is - "Break up with those girls (Otome...), do it properly just like how you broke up with Katsura. If you can make me that promise, I'm ok with whatever you want to do..."

Plus even if her intentions are indeed completely selfless, the action itself is still... quite a bad one.

Although I will agree that Makoto may not have actually followed through with it. That idea was just so out there that I didn't even think of it as a possibility until it was mentioned.
