So some spoilers from 2ch have come out. First are some confirmations from earlier:

Spoiler:

Fujiwara is the younger brother of Mikuru
Kyon does end up going over to Haruhi's house
This is not the final volume of the story
Kyouko is very clumsy

I'm working on the fine details of how the stories are resolved now.

Edit: This is an interesting development regarding Yuki (nothing to do with her situation) and Kunikida:

Spoiler:

Yuki told Kyon that she accepts his change of the world from Disappearance and called it impressive.

Also, Kunikida seems to be in love with Tsuruya-san.

2nd edit: Finally got it all together mentally....

Sorry everyone, new girl cannot be called "slider-tan" yet. The phone call was made due to interference from the future. Kyon doesn't actually go back in time nor changes what world he's in. A regulated item is used to separate the worlds through that phone call. It may be called a "divergence", but really it's a "timeslip".

What? Fujiwara is Mikuru's brother? Poor Mikuru, you'd been abducted by your little brother.

Oh well, now that I know Fujiwara is from the further future than Mikuru (from the same future as Mikuru Big, probably), no wonder he's more knowledgeable.

I said "yet" for a reason. This story has no use of a slider, but future stories may. Nothing has been said about her being a normal human.

It is now the 25th of May in Japan, so bookstores that were gonna do a midnight release are selling the books this very moment, as it just turned midnight a few minutes ago and the countdown clock Kadokawa had just ended. No more waiting, official release has arrived.

So Fujiwara is Mikuru's younger brother - so does that mean she always knew this and just didn't say anything about it? (it's been a while since I read Intrigues so I don't remember her exact reaction to him). Unless he's a younger brother born later than the time plane she comes from ~_^

Wow, Kunikida and Tsuruya? Did they even have any interactions in earlier novels that would point to that?

Today the official website updated with a new webpage. It states "Pray with Haruhi. When 15,498 desires come together, something good is bound to happen!".

The referred site allows you to send a message to the site (with one of the main SOS Brigade characters if wanted) or you can tweet your wish with the official hashtag #haruhinegai.
