It's true I have no idea why many fans loved the first season, so I guess that handicaps me a little. I did notice going through the second season that the male abuse has increased, Hideyoshi hasn't been showing up all that much, the summons are barely used, and the same joke is recycled over and over again, so...okay this is pretty bad compared to the first season.

Physical violence on guys by girls is one of the comedy tropes that have overstayed its welcome since as long as Ranma 1/2. I'd take British-style of verbal abuse over that shit any day of the week. That or/and trolling like the one done by the oujo in Mayo Chiki.

I was happy to see the show go more to its roots with the scheme to peep on the girls bath, but fully agree that the show just isn't firing on all cylinders so far this season. The girls' character development has been as flat and non-existent as Minami's chest. Except for getting to see more of Yuuko, which was cool. Haven't seen ep7 yet so hopefully it'll be good. It's just not as fun to see the guys getting beat on all the time.

But yeah, let's not let the girls' violence drag us into conversations about rape. D:

i shall wait for the FFF to start the Inquisition again, Himeji's odd repetitive lines and yandere, and (was that Fukuhara who took over Fuse's class) Akihisa's fascination for teh ponytail

I believe Season 2 follow the novel much more closely compare to Season 1 (Which skipped around, taking stuff here and there). Of course, anyone that's familiar with the novel knows that it does get not as funny as the series goes on, which explain why Season 2 so far just doesn't cracked me up nearly as much as Season 1...

But bad episodes? By all mean, no...it's still stupid and funny...

I'm sorry, but that's EX boss Yukari, and you can't deny that. I mean, you people already saw who the stage 6 boss was.

You can be sure the boys won't forget about it...

Could use a few more summon fighting, and the comedy with the summons confessing their hidden feelings is also a good thing

Either way, this anime is going quite nicely comedy-wise for me

Ep 7 was close to epic. Hadn't had such a good laugh for a long time.

And my guess of the culprit was wrong. Never mind, it was still a superb end to this arc.
