This is isn't about convincing you you should like male leads like Naruto, this is about understanding why exactly he's that type of lead.

You made the statement that he was a male lead à la naruto as if this was self evident which it really isn't for me.

Wait, you were so fixated with Misaka's lips you didn't notice some other girls had them too

The TV series is it's own continuity since it set 17 years after Robert's Rebellion instead of the 14 years like the books.

And let's not start on Jon Snow being 14...

I think it's true. Asians tend to look like kids for a longer time. In Germany there were 12 year old girls who seriously looked like they were at least 15 or 16, and 15-16 year-olds looked like they were 20.

So, am I the only one who thinks Mikasa was behind Eren's equipment malfunction?

Wonder why they want to throw in Full Metal Jacket style training. Even the training may build a fearless character, they are not going to win by singing Micky Mouse. The giants just smash them to the wall.

Sasha and Mikasa are more interesting characters in this episode. Sasha has the hug appetite and huge stamina. Mikasa continues to play the model fighter role.

I think they don't want to create confusion about Giant, the name of one Japanese baseball team. It may also make the reference to Jack the Giant Killer. According to this story, it's the different kind of Giants. The equipment also shows that they can only win by fighting around towns or forests.

Yes, the GoT adaptation changed the timeline and made all the younger characters older - and made a point of making that clear in the process by stating their ages.

Going by the Wiki entry, it's been two years since the fall of Wall Maria. Unfortunately, the anime isn't very clear about how much time has passed. And I didn't realise the story has been rearranged until I looked up the relevant manga chapters.

Grisha is a common slavic(well, not really slavic if we are talking about it's roots) male name. (Shorten form of Grigori, like in Grigori Rasputin)

Eren's father.

I like how they take out the huge traumatic atmosphere from the previous episodes with this episode. Although the looming tragedy is still there.
