Omokage Warp - nano.RIPE Hanasaku Iroha OP2 - I felt the OP music and animation gave a really good feel for the atmosphere of the show and the frantic pace of life at the inn. This slightly edged out the first OP which was also quite good.

Fukanzen Nenshou - Ishikawa Chiaki Kamisama Dolls OP - I didn't think the show was anything special but the OP was quite catchy and was a welcome change of pace from typical anime music with its Spanish guitar feel.

Daydream Syndrome - Fujiwara Marina Yumekui Merry OP - I actually did not watch this show but I thought the OP to be extremely catchy even if the show itself wasn't.

Hazy - Sphere Hanasaku Iroha ED1 - The EDs from HanaIro had a more mellow nostalgic feeling to them compared to the high energy OPs but they still fit the show very well and I really enjoyed them with the first ED being slightly better in my mind.

Secret Base (10 Years After Ver.) - Kayano Ai & Tomatsu Haruka & Hayami Saori Ano Hana ED - This was an excellent song that really fit the wistful melancholy mood of the show well. I get goosebumps every time the flowers change color.

Resuscitated Hope - Komine Lisa Gosick ED1 - The song and animation really came together well with this ED to create a foreboding and mysterious mood that really fit the show well.

My picks I guess are kind of unorthodox. For opening it's probably the Gundam AGE opening Asu E in all it's chillness with a hint of nostalgia (as if it's the characters looking back on the first arc from in the future) and unfortunately I can't link it here cause you just don't find Gundam openings on youtube while the show is airing period so here's a Dailymotion link

For ending it would have to be the one from Deadman Wonderland by Nirgilis. All throughout I was wondering why there was an image of the Ferris Wheel, but then of course the show eventually explained that it represents the place to go when they are finally free. After that the ending took on a whole new meaning for me and the fact that the song is really good ended up making it my favorite.

The music isthe number one factor for me in an OP and ED. That said

OP
1. Dantalian no Shoka - Cras numquam scire (Beautiful)
2. Steins gate - Hacking to the Gate (Introspective plus rebellious tune)
3. FATE Zero - Oath Sign (majestic first 12 seconds, the emotional switch after that was somewhat a downer like LoLH's OP Last inferno)

ED
1. Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica - Magia (So strong it made me drop Secret base to 2nd, a melody with a feeling of hidden danger and death, a vocal of anger and determination)
2. Ano Hana - Secret Base (loved this since the days of Zone)
3. Honto ni Atta! Reibai Sensei - Owakare Bayashi (Wierd that i find this strange little ED better than Natsume and Gosick)

Close: Natsume Yuujinchou san - Kimi no Kakera, Gosick - Unity

Personally i found 2011 had stronger EDs than OPs.
