also...i thought su's sis (from the anime) was really hot too :P

I am a mega fan of Love Hina. If I had to pick the cutest, and hottest.... hmm.... I have to say that Naru wins the hottest. ( now everyone is going to be yelling how sterotypic or lame I am.) The cutest has to be hmmm.... Shinobu. I call em like I see em.

actually it seems there is less Naru fans than any other grl. besides kanako and haruka.

Motoko was funny, but she scared me too much "i'm a student, no kendo master, no student, no wait, trashy novelist, nah i'm a student..."
the anime's character designs were lackluster compared to the manga.
in the manga the characters had different clothes (unless they wore uniforms i.e. Motoko, Shinobu, Seta, and Kaolla) all the time. in the anime, naru had a grand total of 3 outfits (yellow top w/ red skirt, that nerdy stuff, and one other)
shinobu had 2 (uniform and the blue sweater-thing)
Motoko had 2 (not counting the whole dress-up thing they did) (kendo/priestess garb, school uniform)
Kitsune never seemed to change clothes
Kaolla seemed to only wear her school uniform
Keitaro...pants a t-shirt w/ sweater...always

Another vote for Mitsumi. She had that gentle demeanor about her that I find so beautiful. It was said before, but when Naru is not in an overly zealous mood she can be very attractive too.

Question: is the manga significantly different from the anime? I love the anime and would think about investing in the (what?) 11 volumes of manga if I felt the story were different enough to warrant the puchase.

well for me, it was Motoko and Kanako in the manga, cause of the way Kanako liked EGL fashion.
And specially how Kanako dressed up Makoto in EGL outfits near the 3 volumes of the manga.
Cutest: Naru, no hamnds down, specially with that wedding dress on lol XDD
