I really don't think economic matters...well, matter, when you have a madman/tyrant floating up above the world in a FLEIA-armed fortress.

I am generally talking about how Schneizel's plan is incredibly stupid. How exactly is basically blowing up the world going to create order?

Control through fear. Blow up enough cities, kill enough people, and the world'll submit. Apparently.

Well, he's right.
Just like no one dared to go against Lelouch, they wouldn't have dared to go against Schneizel.
The only difference is that Schneizel didn't have any faith in "people's wishes".

It creates fear. Schneizel would have the ability to just press a button and destroy a whole country. He wanted to keep them in order through fear. I don't think (Someone probably would though) someone would rebel with the threat of their entire country being destroyed. It's a stupid move for anyone to make, therefore, Schneizel's plan was somewhat logical, not to say I agree with it though.

I'd even go so far as to say that his plan was very logical.
Too logical, even.

or the world tears itself a part due to the fact that you just blew up the places where all the huge coporations are at.

My problem is that the thing comes off like a plan for a cartoony villain, such as Ming the Merciless, or Dr. Doom, and didn't we already have a villain like that with Charles? With characters like Charles, Dr. Doom, and Ming, you generally don't take them seriously, so their plans are never questioned, Schneizel on the other hand was mostly played as a serious villain so I question his plans.

Well, Schneizel had a god complex, and probably didn't realize the whole elimination of the industrial sector factor.

Schneizel wouldn't actually have blown everything up. Just enough so that he would be taken seriously.
Which probably wouldn't have been much.
I mean, I certainly wouldn't risk openly going against someone with that kind of power over me.

Yes, but their are others that would, I mean if force of arms worked on everyone than Isreal, and the USA wouldn't have the problems they do.

But you see, the USA don't have Schneizel.
Which is good, because otherwise, things could turn out quite nasty.
Still, if Schneizel was President, then there probably would be no war anymore. Instead, we would have constant fear and the kind of peace I really don't want to see.

World peace is higher on his priority list than the economy, duh.

Also have you ever heard of the uh, Cold War? 'cause the Damocles shit is basically the Geassverse's version of the Cold War~

Nyx, do you happen to remember the line *before* the hurfdurf God line and the line *after* it? As well as what he mentioned to Cornelia in R2 22 when he said "welp lets go use Damocles"? Those lines show its not really a god complex.

Incredible series, but deeply flawed in one way. There were so many battles, but hardly any of the soldier characters died. But for some reason, the creators decided to kill off Shirley, an innocent high school girl. I don't recall any of the main Black Knight characters dying, and very few of the Britannian knights. Very strange for hardly any of the mecha pilots to die but still make Shirley die.

Shirley I believe died to move the plot forward. If she didn't, I think it would have become a different series from that point on. Instead of destroying the geass cult, Lelouch have used it since that was his original plan.

I hope your not meaning the KoR, like half of them died. It's better than alot of series I've seen, where little to no characters die besides nameless people.

Well, let's see:

* Kewell.

* Darlton.

* Guilford until the reveal.

* All but one of the Glaston Knights.

* The Royal Guard.

* All four Valkyries.

* All but four of the Rounds, and even then, Nonette's fate is unclear.

* Katase.

* Kusakabe.

* All of the Four Holy Swords except Chiba.

* Essentially all the JLF.

* General Upson.

* Inoue.

* Yoshida.

* Bartley.

* And by technicality alone, Suzaku.

And others. That's a lot of military people.

But none of those were important characters. I only recognize two names there.

Well, none of the others were particularly important. The only two military characters this season that were ever important were Suzaku and Kallen, followed closely by Anya and Jeremiah.

Yeah, Not many of the characters were all that important, considering how many characters there actually was
