Not really, Mako just kept winning with low scoring hands and Aislinn just kept wondering why the heck was she doing that.

Well, but I didnt really expect her to do well though.. On chap 76, seems like Hisa might have a rough ride.. For her to feel pressured out of all of those 5.. -.-'

Somehow I was more worried about Nodoka getting her head handed to her by the short Esui (sp?) player with the huge mask....

Yay, I had almost forgotten about this manga by now. (Given that I always forget where to get the raws.

) Unfortunately the personalities are not getting much of a spotlight, however the mangaka is doing miracles in individualizing them given the short time she allocates to each match.

Is Rinkai a seeded school or just an extremely powerful unseeded school? If not who are 2nd and 4th seeded school.

i think Rinkai is a seeded school. They were shown in the manga and anime along with Eisui and Shiraitodai as powerful nationals opponents. I think they're the 2nd seed. As for the 4th seed, i have no clue as they have not been revealed but i would suggest the girl at the end of the anime in the farthest right hand corner as a canidate.

I agree with you, it was bit fast cut. But on other hand Hisa's match started already 4.5 chapters ago and we still have vice-captain and captain matches before us.

Btw who will qualify for semifinals and finals, what do you guys expect?
My personal estimation is Kiyosumi + Eisui for semifinals and Kiyosumi + Rinkai for finals.

I would agree with you for the semi's with Kiyosumi and Eisui winning this round, However i like Himmematsu and Miyamori more than Eisui and it will hurt to see them lose. As for the Semi's i kinda think Rinkai is on the other side of the bracket so i wouldnt have a clue who is going to be there. But if Rinkai is there waiting for Kiyosumi i would agree with you again

I like Miyamori too, but somehow i don't really like Himmematsu, maybe because of behaviour of Atago Hiroe (3rd player). Anyway i still think Eisui will go through because they got least focus on in past chapters and Jindai showed almost nothing for one of the monsters. Still i'm bit intrigued by words of Himmematsu's captain about all monsters from other schools will be in 5th match. Let see Saki's match

Rinkai is on same side of bracket, number 52. I was bit curious about their bracket placement so i checked JP RAW of chapter 56 where comentators are talking about them. Kanji name 臨海女子 is same and luckily there is furigana too which i'm able to read

and 東東京 means East Tokyo.

@ Bambi: I liked Hiroe ^^. I guess it would make sense for Rinkai to be next because in normal tournament brackets its 2 vs 3 and 1 vs 4, and just above i said i thought Rinkai was 2nd and you confirmed it, dunno why it didn't click sooner.

@ Marina 2: for Himematsu its Suehara, she confirmed it in ch 79 ( and she's normal). For Miyamori i would guess it would be Toyone Anetai (the tall, dress in black girl) because its only her and Sae left and Sae doesn't seem to be a "monster".

Mako FTW! (Aislinn is so fuuny, haha) - I like characters in all new teams, but they look so weak. I hope the 3th, 4th and 5th player of each team will be interesting.
