wow i actually enjoyed that 8/10 while grisaia was rushed and flawed this felt a lil bit more coherent
btw for anyone who played Meikyu how well did they adapt it? i played the first game and the adaption wasn't as good but for some reason i liked Meikyu a lot |

Pretty dark story....regarding Yuuji's past. Luckily, he had a good sister that looked out for him but their father is pathetic. Not a reader of the VN so this is going to be fresh to me but I think it got the storytelling part right.
Regarding that girl Yuuji he met in the past though...I wonder if her real name is "Marlin"? Anyways, curious to see how the series will carry into the sequel. Should be fun.  <3

I gave up on the first series after a few episodes. But I liked this dark first episode. The harrowing young life thing might have gone too far, but at least it had bite and energy. The post-credits style seemed like a totally different show. How will they bring the two atmospheres together? Tune in next week.
I hope we don't sink back into some kind of harem comedy, but I still like Mizuhashi Kaori's voice work as Michiru (Mizuhashi Kaori 水橋かおり: Taeko in Ai yori Aoshi, Yuuno Scrya in Nanoha, Ogiue in Genshiken, Ai in Aria, Miyako in Hidamari Sketch, Mami in MadoMagi, Ougi in some Monogatari shows; age 40).

first, I don't play VN... but I have read the summary of Meikyuu and Rakuen somewhere
and so far, the anime has covered everything and even more in detail Kazami Kazuki is the best girl and best onee-san... she didn't even only Amane Suou but also her beloved little brother.. It is funny to see her become jealous of Sachi... and that kiss.. damn! I even think that Yuuji might have been raped by Kazuki  everything become horrible after Kazuki's rumored death... Their good-for-nothing dad become depressed. I'm actually feel glad that Yuuji's mom finally act as a real mom for Yuuji... at least for a year... It is also clear that Yuuji's weak mental state seems come from his mother's gene.. However, Yuuji managed to muster up courage to kill his dad because of his sister's influence It is too bad that in the end, she gave up and ended her life... anyway, still respect to her... She is holding up for a year in that weak mental condition Then, Yuuji met a pedophile... then sent to a terrorist training camp. I'm glad that he didn't kill Marlin, mainly because of Kazuki's words toward him and that "rape" scene. It is unfortunate that he can't save Marlin, which result in another blow to Yuuji's mental state His assassination.. I must say... very neat and professional. But I don't really believe that Oslo actually put Yuuji in underground cell... at least put his "ace" assassin in a better place Asako saved him and the story continues on..... I like how Meikyuu is delivered in a scene after Kajitsu.. and it even started with Chizuru's encounter (yeah.. it is a LOL moment) The girls are very naughty as well.. peeking someone's past like that even Yukiko can't hold her curiosity.. and Sachi, putting back shredded paper pieces into a perfect one is just another weird stuff she can do I just experienced a very good 47 minutes episode.. I'm expecting another great episode This is obviously better than Kajitsu adaptation (which only Angelic Howl that really delivered the feel) |

Enjoyed watching this episode. Definitely a lot better compared to Grisaia no Kajitsu. Yuuji had a sad and dark past poor guy but he was lucky for having a onee san like kazuki but sadly the situation changed after she died. Aside from the scum of a father you can't really blame the mother. In the end it was her who did cover-up, looking at her weak situation she did everything in her ability.
But man Kazuki is just amazing, definitely a great onee san! I wish they made a route in the visual novel who focused solely on her. Sadly that's not the case.

I read the spoilers from a credible source beforehand so I can't say I was surprised, but I have to admit I had hoped that they were wrong. I just have to get this out of my system: This is SICK, SICK, SICK, SICK, SICK, SICK, SICK, SICK, SICK! I find nothing more disturbing than pedophilia.
