Alois is rather interesting, though I cringed at the eye gouging scene. My impression of him is that he's a rather broken kid from whatever happened in the past, so I can't really hate on him right now. I've already expressed my displeasure at Ciel being back so until they present a very convincing and well thought reason I'll be in camp Trancy lol. But going by the ep2 comments, I'm getting more interested. Also, love the OP1 sequence. The new one isn't as bad too.

XD Like he went "Ohhhh... nevermind." The funny thing is the comm is going nuts over the fact that Claude has a dog and we all know Sebby loves cats Someone said this is why theyre mortal enemies XD

Its funny how opposite each are. Sebby is the "fun" one I guess where as Claude is stoic. Alois is crazy, Ciel is more refined (tsundere~~~) so it doesnt surprise me at all that Claude would have a dog while Sebby has his cats

The fact that one is crazier and meaner than he looks and the other is nicer and kinder than he might seem is also a contrast.. And cats and dogs are always mortal enemies so it's only fitting.

Am I the only one who feels a little put-off by the lack of explanation? I admire the subterfuge that went into setting the audience up - producing a lavish OP just for one episode was a nice finishing touch. And I love having Sebby and Ciel back. But at some point, I sure hope they tell us how and why...

I think Seb's is probably more shocking because the show seems to have less overt sexuality than CG. Well, I guess Kuroshitsuji has more sexual undertones, it does just seem naughtier than CG as a whole in terms of sexuality. CG just kinda lets Violeta (sp) run around all hotly buck naked, breasts and all, and here, we get the bare backside of a boy. I guess somehow the bruises make it look REALLY perverse. |
