This Saturday we will test the Sensha-do table top rules that were posted some time ago. See if it is fun and playable.

We will see what the locals have for tanks for the test.

If I may ask, about when were the rules posted, because I may have missed them. Also, does anyone know of any translations for the rules / cards for the board game that came out last year? Thanks.

We'll see what we come up with. I had the warped idea of having the fight in a gladiatorial arena, as we have one we had built for the Wizards of the Coast Star Wars miniatures game. For the Battle of Geonosis. 50 Jedi verse battle droids. Lots of battle droids. (We also run the Battle of the Grassy Plains. General Binks and his 300 Gungans verses the unending hordes of battle droids).

EDIT:

We didn't have the table space available to test out the rules this weekend (nor enough tanks I'm told). So it will happen later.

So anyone here been able to test that set of rules yet? I am curious since I might try to pull it off as a convention game next year, or suggest it to someone to run as a way to get into the con for free.

It might be a shading issue rather than the colors, notice how the Oorai uniform coloration on Miho is a bit different than on Iona.

I hope the gamers get a chance to shine more in the movie. Only were involved in one match in the series (vs. Kuromorimine) and were the first ones to be knocked out after the match barely started.

Hmm, most of the teams demonstrated plausible character development on their way to improvement. If the Anteaters do get better, they'd have to show at least the usual set of montages.

The other choice being that with the Rabbit Team becoming more competent, the Anteaters will be the comic relief cannonfodder team now and they're still going to be puttering around with a 500 WN8 and a 45% WR.
