Episode 28: All Is One, One Is All [Spoilers]
This looks like almost the entire episode is a flashback, and I'm really excited about it because this would be the first time since episode 3 that we see an entire episode in which Alphonse is human! More Izumi and her husband, both of whom I really like, more information about 'it' and the truth, supposedly... and some more really cool-looking stuff from the previews
I know many people are classifying this as filler, but I think this next one will be great. And yes, I know there's another thread about Episoe 28, but that discussion's centered on other stuff now, so we'll just discuss 28 here, I guess. |

It'll definately be interesting to see some things, although a couple of the things -- such as Izumi being sick and the 'truth' allowing Ed to use no-hands transmuting -- was already spoiled for me. But I don't mind filler episodes, even if they are a bit slower then normal. I love how FMA feels no need to rush. It is realistically paced, now and then having enough action and excitement of a level and quality to beat out pure combat Animes, given it always means something. When it gets here, you know it'll be worth the wait =)
And is it me, or does it look like Pimpboy and Ed in your Sig are stuck in a cloud of dust, and keep running in circles forever trying to find each other? |

I'm looking forward to this. This will be a great Ep. I love Flashbacks that have a meaning to the story line.
P.S. The image in the left of your post <== is called your avatar not your sig. The thingie below my post is my sig. |

yeah, i think this episode would be good, but it feels like there won't be enough time to actually complete the story at 52 episodes and have all the sins have a good amount of time in the show. if greed's gonna be the big bad guy for a while, it doesn't seem like to me like there would be a good amount of time for wrath (is he alligned with father?) to make a long kickass appearance (or has she/he already appeared?) and for the other sin's to come back, like lust, gluttony, envy, and sloth, and have a bigger part in the show
well, this episode and the following ones will probably explain what the truth is for the non-manga people, like me, but when did ed see this truth thing?? |

True, about the sins. But still, now that Scar is back with his Ishbal people and not causing as much of a fuss with the military, they're the main villains, so I'm sure there'll be plenty of them. We're only a little past halfway through the series, anyway, and these flashbacks apparently need to be done
In fact, watching the preview again, I think this'll be my favorite episode since 21 ^^ 25 was amazing indeed, but I can't say it was a favorite of mine... so cruel to us viewers... well, anyway, I'm excited. Last edited by Fighter Volk; 2004-04-15 at 07:08. |

Ep28 Screenies are up at http://wgalland.hp.infoseek.co.jp/200404b.html
Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip. That started from this tropic port, aboard this tiny boat. The mate was a mighty big butcher, the skipper hot and tough. Two passengers set sail that day, for a three hour tour, or so they thought……… The weather was mighty fine, Edward even even got a dip. If not for the insidious plan of Izumi, they'll never learn alchemy; they'll never learn alchemy. The boat took ground on the shore of this uncharted jungle isle. While Izumi and Shigu left, Edward Elric and Alphonse, are left to rot, hunt for their own food, to survive on this isle. Last edited by Yebyosh; 2004-04-20 at 11:17. Reason: Updated link. |

Another great episode, was good to see how Ed and Al survived and had to make some difficult choices along the way. The preview of the next Ep looks really intriguing. Can't wait... Sonhex |

Wow that was great!.
I was thinking, its way out there but maybe has something to do with the forest boy. In the last ep one of the kids asked the teacher if she had any kids. the silence was broken fast and the subject droped. Maybe has something to do with that. Pure speculation, and i just got off work so my brain is kinda slow right now, but i think it would be cool. |
