After seeing the most recent trailer, I'm officially sold!

Questions:

1. What's a Croisee?
2. What does the title translate to in English?

It's a crossroad in English.

2. What does the title translate to in English?
According to MAL:
Quote:
La croisée dans un labyrinthe étranger
It's something like "A crossroad in the foreign labyrinth".

It's actually quite sad that Croisèe doesn't get attention at the level of the other series around. But I'm not actually that surprised, since Gosick did not have that much attention in AnimeSuki at the start compared to other releases in Spring.

Yeah ... saw that. Am glad. Looks like 13+1 episodes is the "official" info.

Agreed 100% ... I have read the first volume (chapters 1-4) and enjoyed it! Am still curious to see where they are going to take the story, though.

The radio show has just started, starring Toyama Nao (Yune) and Yuuki Aoi (Alice). They are both the same age (19) but this is Toyama-san's first radio show. Ao-chan is also currently in a show with Hayami Saori (just turned 20) on A&G+.

Here is the radio show's homepage, from which you can hear the show. And here is a photo of the two at the show (Toyama and Yuuki):

I will be watching this with a lot of attention.

This anime is like Gosick : the proof of the love between our two countries, because we are lolicon, and loli live in Japan ( oh wait, I got carried away there? )

I'm sure it will be interesting.

I've been primed for this all along. Love Hinata's art, and Kenji Yasuda directed Noein and Shugo Chara and was involved in Oh! Edo Rocket. Lots to like with this one.

Just to be clear, Noein was something of a Frankenstein's monster of Directors, Animation Directors, Assistant Directors... Kazuki Akane was something of a "Series Director" in the Shinbou sense, but Yasuka was also a director, episode director, AD and did the OP and ED animations.

You will say Yasuka instead of Yasuda.

This series is so adorable and beautifully drawn. I bought the first two volumes and love it. So excited that it's going to be animated! I wasn't expecting that because it doesn't have a lot of volumes and doesn't seem to be very well-known.

I've seen the manga listed in the "romance" genre but given the art I've seen that seems, well...

I know Japanese of that era were not as tall as Europeans, but how old are Claude and Yune supposed to be?

I don't know about Claude, but Yue is "13 going on 14" (quote from vol 2).

It's Yune, not Yue.

Okay - I just watched an english subbed version of the preview trailer ... and mid way through it I suddenly got the "feel" of the Aria series.

Did anyone else get that feel?

I have been wondering how they were going to present this story, and an "Aria-like" general angle could work and "make sense", but I have only read volume 1 of the manga ... would such an angle even fit with the story?

Junichi Sato is the writer for this series. He also wrote, direct and storyboarded all three Aria seasons.

Yeehaw!

That explains much!

Good new for me as I LOVED the Aria series and would not mind seeing more in that general vein content/genre wise!
