I was wondering if the games would ever branch out from the SAO era and go into ALO, so seeing that they are, and even incorporating the flight mechanic, is pretty cool .
It'll also be nice seeing the casts' ALO avatars get proper sprites instead of costumes like in Hollow Fragment, though I wonder if Strea and Philia will show up with ALO redesigns? It's interesting that Leafa is the heroine that gets the most focus in the trailer, rather than Asuna or an original heroine. Then again, ALO is the game she's most affiliated with, and I wonder if this might be a sign that she might be more central to the plot this time around? Though it's weird that the gameplay footage has a more accurate portrayal of her ALO avatar than the cutscene . Would it be too much to hope for that we might get proper Heroine routes and endings this time around ?

It seems that the patch update for SAO:HF is now available in the EU. Does anyone here have a European copy of the game they can check to see if it is indeed there?

SAO:HF topped the Vita PSN sales charts for both North America and Europe in September 2014, making it the top-selling digital download on that platform on both sides of the Atlantic for the second month running.

It's not on the North American PSTV list either, I don't think.
But I suspect that there will be a few games that may have to wait until people have picked up their own samples of the device, and tried to run them by themselves, before we can say for certain if they indeed work or not. (Also, can we Imagine how many posts in a row might feature avatars of characters voiced by a certain Japanese VA?)

Also, more info on SAO:LS has surfaced - including the option of playing as other characters.

One thing that might be interesting is, since the game seemingly allows players to "die" (in ALO), if they decided to add any persistent changes/consequences to the game campaign as a result.
Even in the canon timeline, Spoiler for Calibur:
While there may not be a need to duplicate that split exactly, perhaps a more localized set of changes might be triggered in each region of SvartALfheimr, depending on the success (or failure) of the player's actions. That could even be a way of making each play-through (and each person's experience with the game) that litle bit different - since not only are you (the player) developing in your own way, but your game's take on ALO is evolving along with you. ----- EDIT: Is this the Traditional Chinese announcement?
