The official Twitter account for the BanG Dream! franchise announced on Saturday that production on a new anime series has been green-lit. BanG Dream! 2nd Season will premiere next January. In addition, the staff is also simultaneously announcing the production on the 3rd Season for an October 2019 premiere.

Good news for BanG Dream fans. More BanG Dream anime are on the way.

They're back! Fresh from a new year start, we got an energetic atmosphere with the girls returning to school. Really neat to see Kasumi and the others in high spirits.

Music is back too with some of the instruments. I'd felt a lot more like a refreshing episode to get everything back together from the first season at the moment. However, I think it feels like a refreshing start from the previous season.

The performance is entertaining.

The first episode was ok. But geeze, best not rewatch the first season before this one. The shift in animation to CG is really jarring.

It was an episode that seemed more focused on just introducing more bands. The first part had some minor focus on the main cast moving up a year in school. But yeah mostly seemed about diving into the performances and the other characters.

Even though it is a jarring shift at least the characters remain themselves

Ugh. 3d haters exgagerrating things as always. With so much performances it would have been extreamly hard making it 2d or the mix one. And after Arpeggio and BBK/BRNK I am totally fine with CG from Sanzigen.

Yes, they could have rise the framerate but it is the iossue of the industry standards as a whole.

Also, Roselia girls are the best as always.

Shuwa Shuwa Shuwarin Dreaming, Pastel Life was a lot of fun to watch. So was Girls Band Pico.

Yeah not sure what Rinko was thinking becoming the president when she is such a shy and nervous person, at least Sayo is there.

That other school will definitely boppin' with Hina as their president, always found it funny how Sayo & Hina go to different schools even though they are twins.

We got to see all 5 main bands perform in the 1st episode, that is awesome.

Roselia is my favourite band out of them all, love their music and bought their Anfang CD.

BLACK SHOUT is the song they had a quick demo of to end the show for those who didn't know.

They ran away! After the rather lackluster quality of the first season, they were like "Welp, not going to even bother" and decided to make the entire thing CG.
I thought it was going to be completely boring, but at least I got a laugh somewhere.

Ah lovely opening there by Roselia, Brave Jewel is another great song by them.

What's the deal with this Rokka girl? her character is so annoying, how can someone be so afraid and startled by everything in the world, her voice is too loud for my liking.

Haha Ako can still do her thing even in that state, I admire their tenacity and determination to make the show succeed but those girls really should look after themselves a bit better.

BLACK SHOUT, solid choice for a live performance.

Yeah Yukina is always very straight forward and blunt like that, it's a challenge set for Poppin'Party to get good enough for their own live sponsored show, I know they will work hard towards their goal.

Episode 1: Pretty ok introduction. Afterglow looks cool. Also, did not expect Hina kaichou.

Episode 2: Guess we need some kind of drama, though this feels more like facts being laid on.

Episode 3: Good, I was starting to wonder what was the point of Rokka. No joke, that was pretty well done.

Episode 4: ...I have too many words for what I just witnessed.

That's the thing isn't it? So far, bang dream has been about as down to earth as this kind of shows can get, and then you get... that. I knew Kokoro was rich going in, but still.

Not that I'm complaining. It was like watching Golden Kamuy again, only with less violence and dicks.

Kaoru has all the girls attention as usual lol, she actually has an incredible voice, easily the best in HHW.
