Has anyone played this game? It's basically a shooter game where you play as the younger souers(Sachiko level on down) and you go around shooting other students.

...that description is a tad misleading, so how bout some screenshots.

Each stage has a mid-boss(Kanako, Shizuka, ect) and a main boss battle(Sei, Eriko, Youko, ect). Once you win there, you fight all the previous bosses in succession, one after another, then finally, you fight Sei, Eriko and Youko all at once.

After you beat the game with all 3 pairs of souer(Sachiko/Yumi, Shimako/Noriko, Rei/Yoshino), you unlock the secrets - new characters, fighting harder versions of the bosses, mixing souers, an "Endless" mode I found rather entertaining.

From the looks of it, this game is about a year old, but I can't find a topic on it. You can easily find the actual game with a quick google search.

You need the Locale Japanese thing to run this game.

'N' is to shoot backways
'M' is to jump
'<' is to shoot forwards.
'>' is to dash
'/' is to pause.

Up, down, left and right are all the same. You can double jump in this game.

The reason I made this topic is in hopes of discussing certain ways to defeat each boss with each set of characters. I've already beaten the game with all pairs on every mode and I've literally maxed out my points count in Endless mode, but I'm having difficulty beating some of the bosses when I enter the special mode where the bosses are vastly more powerful than they are in regular game mode, especially when you don't use the special characters. Here's what I know so far. By the way, bosses gain additional abilities on a harder setting. Also, dashing is just how it sounds, except you're completely invincible when you do it.


Against Tsutako: Avoid/destroy the junk being thrown at you and spray away with your weapons. The junk itself can be destroyed with your shot, but the tri-energy balls she shoots at you can only be avoided.

Against Touko: The first part is rather simple because not much junk is being thrown at you. During the second part, more junk will be thrown at you then your weapon can destroy, so you have to be careful in avoiding them. The third and final part, Touko will launch multiple drills into the air non-stop and they will all charge charge at you immediately. The only way to avoid the drills is to time your dashes precisely. This is one of the harder fights.

Against Minako and Mami: Stand next to them and shoot. You will take hits, but they'll die before you do.

Against Kanakozilla: Make use of your jumping and your dashing. If she successful jumps on you, it's instant death.

Against Chisato: Have we met her in the anime yet? Anyways, half the time she'll send her pupils at you. They'll run into the screen and shoot stuff at you. They're not too much of a threat since they die very quickly. The other half of the time, she'll throw 2 projectile circles at you. One directly horizontal and another at about a 30 degree angle. Don't try to jump in between them, instead, dash into the horizontal one and you will emerge unscratched. Not a hard fight at all.

Against Eriko: This is a two part fight. First part is against an elephant(that's right, an elephant). Just shoot away at the elephant until it dies while avoiding its bubbles, the flowers Eriko will be throwing at you and Eriko herself charging at you. You can't harm her yet. Once the elephant is defeated, Eriko to reflect beams from the sun directly towards you with her forehand(I'm serious). It comes at you rather quickly, but she makes a short pose before using it, so dash to avoid it. She'll also be throwing multiple flowers at you also, but those can be destroyed easily.

Against Shizuka: Just shoot away until she dies. I never found this boss fight to be any difficult.

Against Sei: This is a rather hard fight. The first half of the fight, she'll be driving in her car. She'll alternate between shooting homing missiles from her trunk and some kind of blue spray from her hood. The missiles are difficult to destroy, better to get avoid them all together. The spray first comes in a straight line, but later will spread in a circle and fill the whole screen. The only way to pass them unscratched would be to dash.

Once her car is destroyed, she'll get out and place a flower in the middle of the screen. Five constant lasers will emerge from the flower and make rotations around the screen leaving no safe spot to stand. The only way to avoid being damaged is to dash across the lasers. It's alot harder than it sounds, unfortunately since the lasers rotate pretty quickly.

Against Mifuyu: Who's this again? Anyways, you almost can't lose this fight. Just stand there and blast away with your laser. You don't even have to avoid the things coming at you.

Again Youko: Hardest by far. Took me days to beat her with Sachiko and Yumi. The first half, she'll summon swarms, and I mean SWARMS of students to come attack you. The only thing you can do is use to 'kill her before she kills you' tactic. Losing 50% to 75% is normal from this first, easier half of the fight. The second half, she'll light the ground up on fight and your only choice is to bounce on the flowers she projected on the screen. Additionally, she'll throw out a flower that's meant to blow up into a million pieces literally filling the screen with petals that can damage you. If that isn't bad enough, she'll shoot out those energy balls at you from time to time.

Final Fight: A fight against Eriko, Sei and Youko. If you thought fighting them individually was a pain, fighting them together is a nightmare.

The first fourth of the fight will be against Eriko and Sei. Sei will project white flowers on the screen that will shoot out constant vertical lasers while moving left. Eriko will float up and down shoot horizontal sun beams at you.

The second fourth of the fight will be against Youko and Sei. Youko will throw out multiple flowers at you while Sei will place one flower in the middle, have it shoot out 3 lasers and have them rotate like the boss fight against Sei.

The third fourth will be against Eriko and Youko. Eriko will once against float up and down, following you this time while shooting sun beams at you. Youko will take her position at the top left and light the ground on fire. Your only platform to stand on are the flowers being thrown on screen that are easily destroyed by your shot, so watch where you shoot.

This last fourth, they'll just all go crazy and throw their specials at you at the same time. Practically impossible to avoid. Best bet is to pray you have enough life to beable to use the 'kill them before they kill me' tactic.

Now, it took me hours just to get TO the fourth fight. I can't, for the life of me, defeat this trio. If anyone would want to take up this fight with me and find a way to defeat them ...that'd be really great <___< At the moment, I'm only interested in playing as Sachiko/Yumi.

I know I haven't talked about this game in its entirety, there's still alot about the game I haven't discussed, nor do I intend to. If I reveal everything, what fun would that be for those who haven't played it?

I used to have this game on my computer. It was rather fun but I could only get so far before it would crash. I tried re-installing it but it still would crash on random levels so I just got rid of it.

Anyway it still was very fun. I loved playing as Shimako and Noriko. I believe the farthest I got was to Eriko before the game would crash on my computer. I wish I could have the chance to get farther. Perhaps I'll try to put it on my computer again.

Oh and Chisato I believe was the girl who one the date with Rei in the first season. We see her again in season two in episode 10 too.

Against Sei+Eriko, just get behind them and shoot them from behind

Against Sei + Youko, stand about a pixel away from Sei vertically, hold up and the right hand fire button and jump. The first jump should be ok. If you hit Sei on the way up, that means you're standing too close. The second jump should barely miss the flower that just popped up. The flower will be projected to the center just as you fall from the second jump. The third jump is open. The fourth jump, your head should barely miss the laser being shot at out. It takes about 6-9 good jumps to beat this pair. If you hold down and jump, you'll 'dash' down, which means you'll be invincible til you touch the ground. That'll help you stay alive.

Against Eriko and Youko, ignore Youko and hold the left fight button. Your main priority is to aboid Eriko's attacks AND to stay on the flowers only. Don't bother aiming for Youko. This pair will go down eventually. Be extra careful when you touch the ground because the ground will still be on fire. Make good use of your dash here.

Against all three, bombard Eriko with everything you have until this trio dies. Just move away and dash in as she fires her sun beam. Eriko will be covered by her shot, so you'll have to pay close attention to dash at the right time.

Wow I can't believe I missed this game
As expected with French Bread, the music is great like their other games.
I finished easy mode on my 2nd try but I lost to Sei on normal with Yumi and Sachiko. They have the largest range and Yumi's lazers are awsome

I just recently d/l this. It seems that the game file is a BIN file ... I have no idea what it actually means... how can I get it to work?

edit: Lol I realized what I said was pretty vauge. Yeah I don't know what program to use to open a 'BIN' file >.< should it even be such a file?

You probably need to install asian languages and set your windows to Japanese.
If you're having trouble installing, and if it's like other doujin games, then you can just copy the files from the CD to your computer instead of installing.

I tried normal mode again today with Yumi and Sachiko. Finally got past Sei and wasted 4 lives against Youko . I don't see how you can avoid getting hit by her roses.

You can't, but in normal difficulty, the petals aren't too bad. Use your dash to get to the far side as fast as you can hoping from one rose to another. Once you're on the furthest rose, wait for the projectile energy balls. Dash in to make yourself invincible and to avoid to energy balls. Dash back out as soon as possible afterwards. Never stop firing. You should win with at most, 1 life lost.

For a quick update, I've basically all the bosses with every pair. I can beat the final boss(all 4 parts) in 35 seconds. As far as I know, the only boss you can't beat is Touko as Yoshinox2, since she fills the screen with junk and Yoshino's attack are homing.

I just got this game and had some problems, but was able to fix them. For anybody still having problems, you can run the installer and game exes with AppLocale, a free download from Microsoft.

Also, this game is awesome. Shimako and Noriko twirl when they jump. How wonderful is that?
