Nice spot there. So in this regard, Zero and the Black Knights are immortals, with the Emporer trying to kill the gods.

I loved how Kaguya just pawned Suzaku in the war of words. Suzaku really needs a reality check sometimes...

Btw, if Nina hates 11's so much, why hasn't she tried to kill Suzaku? That way, we can get rid of 2 birds with one stone, if she succeeds.

It was really nice to see the Black Knights in casual, normal clothing.

Xian Ke will team up with Zero soon enough, and China will be saved to turn against Brittania in the upcoming war.

Meh, time will tell. She still is going to get more development than anyone else at this point, especially with later events.

So, is it implied here that Schneizel x Nina? Somehow, I doubt that. I just think Schneizel is using her (and her devotion to Euphemia). But geesh, who knew Euphie could play such a big role.

Going to try to clear up some things in this thread.

I second that as well. Through out the series, they just have an interesting relationship. It could go either way.

I would like to comment about u nina haters. She's in the story for a reason. She possesses a symbol that one would forget or ignore otherwise. Needless to say, she does annoy me a little.

and for the whole xhing thing (the relationship between the empress and him), for those of you who are not familiar with chinese culture and history, many would sacrifice themselves to save their emperor, king, empress, or some form of the high hierarchy. Many would see them as the symbol of the people, a symbol of god, and sometimes as a form of love or even transcending love. Loyalty was unquestionably strong for those who were saved from proverty and/or death. Quite a common theme in many chinese stories.

I hope everyone realizes that this aint your average shounen stuff for boys, there is a great story, original characters, and several themes taking place all at once. I hate to say this, but to really understand everything, u need to be in the older and more educated audience. Needless to say, whoever wrote this story did a great job in captivating all audiences.

Funny guy you are, if K x LL actually work out then your just going to claim to everyone about how right you are, but if it were the latter then your just going to avoid the realization that you were wrong by claiming that you were CC x LL all along. Setting yourself up for a win win situation I see.

When V.V says lelouch's plan will only get crazier from here. Does he mean that Lelouch plans on taking over the Chinese Federation and then attacking Britannia? That sounds like the obvious route but, that seems really possible since he's pointing a gun to Tianzi's head (poor kid).

Hum, other thoughts...maybe orange-kun has some cool ability now? I"m interested to see what happens.

Can someone who actually understands the dialogue shed light on this--why does Zero feel the need to kidnap the empress? Wouldn't a Xingke led coup with an empress who's best female friend is Zero's "wife" be a friendly regime for Zero? I mean, he's just alienated pretty much every faction in the Chinese government, in a massive country where he has all of one million refugee supporters. The eunuchs were already opposed to him, and now the Army (which seems capable of pulling off a coup) is seriously pissed off. And how is Kaguya going to take this?

Its a really smart move by Lelouch in my opinion. First of all by kidnapping Tian Zi hes stopping the allegiance between Britannia and China while also potentially bringing Xingke under his controls. Like I mentioned before, its not such a bad thing for Tian Zi to be kidnapped by Zero, she gets to leave the forbidden city like she always wanted.

9 out of 10. Somethign aboutt his episode jsut doesn't qualify it for a full 10, but a very interesting start of the China-arc indeed

Zero wants to (this is my guess) Geass Tianzi to control the Chinese Federation, thus lead a war against Britannia because in this cause, now he has the power of a whole nation to fight against his dad, who also controls a whole nation. Do you see? But then again, Lelouch may not need to geass Tianzi seeing as how she may just comply willingly. Besides, I'd feel bad for her being geassed.

I doubt Lelouch seriously plans to treat Tianzi badly. In all cases, Tianzi will probably get taken to the black knights and be treated fairly. It's not like they're actually terrorists or as bad as everyone views them. So in all cases, it's a win win for Xingke and Tianzi as they will probably see each other.

The only thing I"m worried about is Schneizel having a trump card up his sleeve. He said at the end, "Zero, I warned you about coming here..." So I'm thinking he has something major up his sleeve to kick Zero's ass or kill someone.
