I am smelling a huge Deus Ex Machina coming. May be Nathan is a space alien from planet Okama sent to earth to conduct experiments on humans. In the end, the aliens will conclude that humans are not ready for eternal life. The purple aliens will kill Amschel for making a mess, and take away Diva, Saya and the 2 cocoons back onto their spaceship. Lulu will be Lulu Miyagusuku. Instead of Saya (and Riku) she will return to Okinawa and enroll in the same high school, live with Kai in OMORO. Lewis will do the cooking. Awful ending!

Van Argeno's a real wuss when you get right down to it... i half expected him to have done experiments on himself and be some kind of half-Chevalier/half-Shifu kind of thing... oh well, maybe in an OVA...

so i now strongly suspect that Solomon is going to come back

and also, this really seems like they are not going to resolve very much...

there are rumored OVAs already planned... i bet sony would like to do a movie or two... Sony Pictures Entertainment would probably like to do a live action, too... so they aren't going to kill off anyone too important...

next ep looks like it's all about action sequences...

Well that would really suck, wouldn't it? Instead - how about this:

Nathan is indeed someone special. Maybe the father of the two girls.
Saya is able to fight Diva because she suddenly gets dizzy too. I mean let's not forget that Saya isn't the only one with the 30-year-beauty-sleep-problem here. While Haji is able to kill Anshel (he really needs to die!) and David is saving everybody by sacrificing himself (which really pisses off Julia), Kai and Haji are teaming up to help Saya. Somehow Haji gets deadly injured which pisses off Saya so she goes semi-berserk. But before she can kill Diva Nathan interferes because he can't let his two daughters kill each other. Suddenly the both sisters are falling asleep. Nathan gets Diva and let the two Kids with Kai. Kai takes Saya and the Kids and turns back to Okinawa. Although Saya is in her 30-year-sleep he shows her the sunset in Okinawa (based on one picture from the end-credits, which shows somone looking like Kai holding a girl in his arms while the sun sets) before putting her in her Cocoon in the family tomb. Together with Mao he continues the patchwork-family-tradition by rising the two girls (which in the end are technical his nieces) as human beings and not as specimens for scientific research (also based on a picture from the end credits, which shows two girls - one with a red and one with a blue dress - running across the zebra crossing). Nankurunaisa!

Okay - somehow the side-characters like Kaori have to build in in a good way. But a finale with a plot something like that would be okay with me because it would be closure to the plot and characters in a bittersweet manner without ultimate closure to the main problem. So they can make some OVAs, Movies...whatever.

How is it that the orchestra kept playing until the end of Diva's song, with people dying everywhere and all...

But really, it made me so happy to see the Met animated. They did a pretty good job with the details.

I agree with what Haji said. The way Kai treated Haji since the beginning of the series is really annoying. Here Haji is being all nice, understandable (he try to hook up Kai with Saya!!!), and polite. While Kai treated Haji like he is some kind of weird outsiders. Remember how angry Kai was when Saya and Haji shared the same cabin on the train? Kai seem to hated Haji for some reason.
Kai never trusted Haji. And now he asked Haji to help Saya? What give him that right?
Kai don't know anything about Haji (he don't care about Haji, the only person he care about is himself and Saya). If Kai don't know anything about Haji, he don't have the right to said "you truly don't want Saya to fight too ( or something like that) ." What does Kai know about what Haji "truly wants."

It make me angry when Kai acts like he is the only one who understand Saya, when he only know her for 2 years max and the Saya that he knew is suffering from amnesia. While Haji knows the real Saya, and been with her for more than one hundreds years.

On to a different topic:
If there is a OVA after the series, then it would be sooooo great. Because the chance of Haji, Saya, Kai, and Diva staying alive when the series end look promising.

I love Blood+, so the longer the series, the better it is.

Diva's blood lost the power to kill Saya as soon as she became pregnant so her blood would remain compatible with the babies. Probably D-nucleotide played an important role. That's why she had trouble with pregnancy because of her blood. Nathan kind of implied that. Else there are no new revelation. Was Nathan really Diva's or Diva's mother's chevalier, no one knows.

lol at Amschel. Owned even with DeeBeeZee powers. I also lol'd at Saya trying to put Diva's arm back on. Entire episode was so climactic that it felt anti-climactic, if you get what I mean. Anyways, I too wonder what Nathan said to Haji and Saya.

A very sad conclusion. I watched the raw and didn't fully understand all of the dialogue but it was a awful. Reminiscent of an operatic tragedy, how fitting that it took place on the Met's stage. I suppose this is what the creators had in mind all along.
I know you reap what you sow, but it broke my heart to watch Diva die. I hope Saya doesn't make a mistake. Hopefuly Kai can make good out of an ugly situation.
Anime characters can make you cry too -_;
On a brighter note, Hagi kicked Amshel's arse. Diva's babies are sooooo cute <3

Anschel certainly looks like the last boss in his beast form. Is he the ugly mofo that Saya is fighting in the OP? And it's so surprising that i felt a bit sorry for Diva, especially seeing that pic of her babies. Damn you I.G. But what she did to Riku far is still the saddest event in the series.

Yea I love the Met... I've been there a few times. I know they do a regular radio broadcast but I didn't know they actually did live boradcasts.

Amshel was certainly devious not to tell Diva that she lost the power of her blood after her pregnancy. I am glad that he got the short end of the sword point as well.

That went fast. Oh well. Couldn't end any other way for the bad guys. Though this isn't really the end of the yokushuu plague so i won't be dissapointed if both Saya and Haji live on to battle any future yokushuu-thingies that are going to be produced in labs.
The kids are cute yeah.
