Have you listened to his Kuroshitsuji score? It's delicious Taku.

Wow that's one impressive PV.
Tamura Yukari seems like a nice fit for Togame, though it does look like i'll have to get used to it in the first episode. If i didn't already know that the composer was Taku Iwasaki, i would have thought it was Kawai Kenji going by that opening piece , though i do love what i'm hearing, especially those few pieces that follow after it. Guess he can't help but carry on using a bit of rap, though it does seem to work quite nicely. & all those foot shots. <3 This easily has the chance of being my personal favorite from 2010.

Wow, I sure was surprised as hell with the fact that this thread predates to 2008.
Premise certainly looks very interesting. It's much like Bakemonogatari - Isin took something standart (in that case, harem/romance) and filled it up with something different - style, dialogues and supernatural. This seems to be the case alike to that of Bake - sword-collecting shonen? Sure, why not, if that's Isin. I'm greatly confused with episode/book titles. They go like <kanji>とう・「<title>」. If I get it right, the title in brackets would be the title of each of 12 swords and the first kanji is something like characteristic of a sword the story is about? Does this issue get more explanation in novels? Anyway, Katanagatari shapes up to be one of the most interesting shows of 2010 to me. Great style, ROWROW, interesting characters (Togame! Oh god Togame! "The man motivated by love is someone I can trust, so it's okay to fall in love with me" <3) it really comes together well. And that tragedy tag... Uh... |

And the tragedy tag ... is accurate in a way, and in a way not, but I think it's fine if it's there (if it's not there it's fine too). |
