Lisana returning or not seems to be more relative to the plot than the practicality of reviving the dead inn this series, especially after teh appearance of Wendy.

Gerard was comatose, not dead. Wendy can heal someone that's on the brink of death, but she can't revive the dead.

Edras's Lisanna being alive wouldn't require any involvement of dragons or dragon slayers in Earthland Lisanna's death. A different personality Mirajane, and different personality Elfman might easily have passed on the mission that ended up getting Lisanna killed.

As for us not having seen Lisanna's body, that'd be because we haven't gotten a full flashback of what happened, and she's long since been buried/cremated. As for the one panel we did get, yeah she didn't look that bad in it. However we couldn't see all of her, and most the damage was likely internal anyways given Elfman's fight tends towards pummeling rather than clawing.

You really have to take into account though that Elfman blames himself for Lisana's death and no one tries to correct him... There's a huge difference between Elfman killing her with his own bare hands, and her getting sucked up in a huge swirling votex in the sky...

First, because they don't know anything about anima, they would not jump to the conclusion that she was dead... they would assume missing/abducted, and probably spend the rest of their lives looking for her... even if they found no trace of her while searching via magic they would still believe that she might be alive do to the fact that no magic is perfect (meaning that something might be preventing the search from working)...

Second of all, while elfman might still blame himself for her getting sucked up like that because he was attacking her at the time, others like Mira would be consoling him and reminding him that it was not his fault, and that outside forces were to blame for her death.... it be less "i killed her", and more like "i didn't save her" kind of thing

Hmm I thought Gerard was dead actually. Oh well though, I am still not putting it past a manga that features magic to revive the dead with a good reason despite whether or not someone in the manga said it cant be done, Regardless, her coming back is more plot related than death related at this point. The author is still in a position to do that without anyone questioning it to much at this point,


As for bizzaro Lisana living or dying in conjunction with normal Lisana, I thought it made sense in a "perfect chaos' kind of way. There is an infinite number of possibilities in everyday life that could cut off, lengthen, and shorten ones lifespan, so in that sense you could still have the same base values for two sides of people and have it cut off at roughly the same time. Though looking at it singularly, what you said could certainly be the case. But an absoliute being like a dragon slayer or dragon having an effect on a single side or a person would explain bizzaro lisana still being alive, assuming she is, which again I doubt.


Though I am still wondering what Natsu and Wendy truly are. They dont seem to be dragons, and they dont seem to be 100% human either. A mix maybe?

After he placed himself in the magic vortex back at the tower of paradise, someone pulled him out too (I think it was Brain?), and Erza had correctly stated that if Gerard had stood in the middle of the vortex, his body would have been broken down at a molecular level. So, it's not like he was dead, but nobody knew he was alive.

I am kind disappointed with this reverse personality. We had nirvana reversing good to evil and evil to good. Now we have personality reverse!? Kinda lack of imagination from the author for new stuff.

To get technical, this is a permanent state unlike during Nirvana, when they could resist the power of light/darkness if their character was solid.

As suspected they are indeed doubles, but things didn't play out entirely as most people guessed. It looks like being a dragonslayer really didn't matter, with Wendy...uh, Adult Wendy...and Natsu existing in Edoras.

Natsu is missing though, does that mean he received Lisanna's fate instead? Though if this Lucy joined the same time as Earth Lucy did, then she wouldn't have really known Natsu, so I guess that's not it. Also, what is the situation with the dragons in this world? Maybe dragonslayer magic doesn't exist at all in this world?

The thing with Erza...well I can't say I didn't expect it, and we all kinda wanted to see it anyways.

Either way, good chapter. I hope Lisanna takes Erza's "place" for this arc, I want to see if her relationship with Natsu is the same as what it was on Earth. Y'know, it'll give us good insight at what it would be like if she was still alive.

i can tell this arc is gonna last a while now. i'd give it 3 to 5 months probably till the arc reaches its conclusion. i can't wait to see natsu kick ass and if dragonslayers are able to use their magic in edoras. just more and more questions keep piling up.

-gazille is still MIA. bets are he is going to make an entrance where it matters the most
-fairy tail guild in edoras tells us that natsu hasn't been back in ages. so where could this "edoras" natsu be? dead? alive? perhaps captured by the royal city?
-if "edoras" natsu is also a dragonslayer, then we have confirmation dragonslayers will play an important role in this arc
-we have no clue about the situation inside the crystal where "earth" fairy tail is locked up in

just more and more plot twists. god damn im a sucker for plot twists.

hmm. ill probably wait until may or june to pick up reading again. but fairy tail did catch my interest again. no more random "OK GAIS WE ARE GOING OFF TO ANOTHER ARC THAT HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH DRAGONSLAYERS".

expected Lisana to show up in some form with how much they talked about her the last few chapters. Hope they bring home a souvernir lol. I want to see more of her.

Still keeping my hopes open that maybe they really did take the Lisana from the original world as well. Their main target was fairy tail so who know, she might be frozen in Lacryma like the rest of the fairy tail that we know. Like they used her as a test subject for planning to take the whole of fairy tail. Maybe there will be a half dead Lisana from the wounds Elfman gave her frozen in Lacryma for Wendy to heal like she did for Gerard.

Mira i also expected to remain exactly the same. If She changed because of Lisana's death then if Lisana didn't die then she would remain the older tougher Mira which because of personalities being changed she would just revert to the Mira we all know and adore

isn't this Elfman a lot like the one from the egg chapter though? didn't seem to change too much

So from what I read, it would seem that both Fairy Tail guilds are in the same area with the Earth guild being held in an oversize crystal. Loved the interaction with Lucy and Nastu, especially her form of punishment. Was a bit suprised at what role the Edras Erza has taken, but then it leaves room for a possible Nastu vs. Erza fight, not to mention an Erza vs. Erza once the Earth guild is set free. Nice to see the Edra version of Lisanna is alive and well, so that sets up some good interaction between her and Nastu. Liked how the proper and nice girls such as Lucy and Levi have revearse roles in being foul mouth and show a tougher attitude than their Earth counterparts.
