I like the way this manga portrays character through movements, expressions, and gestures apart from words. It makes the characters all the more wholesome. Emma's elegance and grace is defined through these things. I like how this portrayal of character through long scenes also sets the slow, thoughtful pace. Similarly, emotions like love, pain, confusion, are portrayed inferred through these things. I like how the manga makes these things so natural and believable. I like the characters too, of course. In short, I like this manga. A lot.

While, I didn't cry over Emma, the story telling was great and it gave me a great sense of satisfaction upon finishing the manga.
The torrent for ch4 of Emma Bangaihen should be available on Baka-updates or Manganews. Ch5 should be available soon! Yeah there hasn't been any news of season 2 recently. I am also eagerly anticipating its arrival. Heres to next spring or summer! |
