lol. We don't need ANBU, I feel sorry for them not being on time. It's like doing a haphhazard job and not following up what your supposed to do. Heck, even the boss might fire you

After watching Naruto showing Jiraiya doing the first step, the hand motions looked cooler than just doing the Rasengen with just one hand. When Jiraiya did it, it was cool, don't get me wrong, especially how chakra circulated into the ball, but I can't wait to see how it looks with respects to Naruto's hand movements. I always assumed that he just just did the hand motions like he was rubbing a crystal ball or something.

Next week we'll be heading to ep 88. And this week, groups ANBU-AonE & BakaFish did ep 86 and only Shin Otaku skipped to ep 87.

This was the perfect week for Bakafish to miss out. If this was an episode that was extremely important to the plot, then FunnyMation would have been unacceptable. That wasn't the case which is a very good thing. I just want BakaFish back because HTTP downloads go way faster than bittorent.

Though, I'm still happy that this anime seems to be untouched after three years (totalling out 4 seasons running)

I`m stunned there are so many people who enjoyed funnymation`s sub of 87.
video and audio were good but omg.
it was subbed by 15 year old 1337 script kiddies trying to look cool.
frankly it was embarassing and by far the worst sub i have ever seen.
Everyone i spoke to seems to feel the same way. I personally will never touch another sub by them.

I liked this episode, seeing the growing bond between Jiraiya and Naruto. I am happy to see Jiraiya becoming a fatherly figure to Naruto, and also since he seems to be super strong Naruto got a good deal on this one.

Bakafish's translator is in Germany thats why they haven't released it.

Right on the nose my good sir, I thought I had mentioned it on these forums before, but I guess I hadn't. I am in Germany for the next 9 or so weeks, so there will be no Naruto Anime from Bakafish, much to the delight of those who dislike our translations and video quality that we force them to download.

No, they are a fansub group with an odd sense of humor. I got the plot, and the cat part was hilarious.

I liked the part when Jiraiya handed Naruto the popsicle. Jiraiya, for a moment there kinda resembles a father figure for Naruto who doesn't know his parents.

When Naruto asks Jirayia "Can you at least teach me the trick again like before?" he answers "Money". How is that related to how Naruto will overcome his difficulty in passing to step 3? The echo effect seems to strenghten the importance of "money".

lol i highly doubt that Jiriaya saying "money" has any significance to Naruto's training.
This was just a humorous remark at how shallow Jiraiya can be.
I thought that was quite obvious

Jiraya is just an asshole in this moment. He has stolen all money from naruto, is "gathering information", while Naruto is driven to dispair. He probably want to say that there is no shurtcut and no way that he helps naruto to complete this step.
