to me the way the volumes describes it there seems to be a vague familiarity to how Fraulein Kreutune does things and how Index/Pendex works.

For frenda and kakine...they are aliiive.....kakine become a monster beyond comprehension equal to something from love craft as for frenda she become zombie? Or she is cloned...

The way I read it, it seemed like it might've been his AI talking, so maybe it's been a while since he was in his pod talking with Jarvis

But seems like Touma's plans might not work out exactly as he wants judging by what it says in the afterword

They might actually not be unrelated. I was just musing about a theory where Frenda's zombie revival was done via Dark Matter... although that's just a wild theory.

reading that last part about Fraulen, and the rebirth of Frenda and Kakine, would find it appropriate that the title of the next volume was The Walking Index.

this volume only served to torment us until the arrival of the next.
