That wasn't half bad. I mean, the basic concept is somewhat unusual but the characters seemed OK and I'll give it a few episodes to see how it goes.

This is not too bad. It doesn't look too pretty (like Free!) but I do like the interactions of the characters (though KazuHaru is not near the attraction of MakoHaru).

It should be interesting to see the whole ensemble and their cheer leading routine.

I still don't quite know what to make of this show, but I guess so far it's Secondhand Embarrassment: The Anime? At least now the club has two competent members, their motivation for joining notwithstanding.

Anyway, I quite like this so far, even though I'm not quite sure if it's working as it's supposed to. Kazu and Haru are nice, Ton and Sugita Tomokazu are basically comic reliefs/plot devices so far... the two new Kansai guys are mostly one note but maybe they'll get some spotlight, and it appears next time we'll have the guy who is actually really good at what he does but is really embarrassing otherwise (at least that's the character type he looks like). So that's 7 guys, plus there are all the people in the ending... the cast seems fairly huge for a 13 episode show, so I'm a bit worried.

(I'm most curious of the yankee cheerleaders. How even... )

Also, Okamoto Nobuhiko should get more main roles.

Everyone needs an ambition, right?

Yeah, three episodes in and I think I'll stick with this one. It's still a strange concept but the characters are good and bits like that just amuse me.

Have to wonder if this guy's hoodie is a reference to the old movie/tv show from the 80s...

Lots of extra character whose names I don't remember yet, some DRAMA.

Good catch! And an interesting theory. Now I wonder how popular the FAME series is in Japan. Wasn't this guy one of the newbies who is really interested in dancing?

Speaking of drama of the upcoming kind, I'm really worried about Grandma after this past episode and next week's preview.

Every week, I wonder if I'll ever get used to hearing "Go! Fight! Ween!"
