Given that we know virtually nothing of the none years between the two series, it's hard to claim nothing outside Nanoha's incident happened. It's very easy to create a new incident that happened somewhere along those years.

Hadn't even known this movie was happening, but I like the idea of something between A's and StrikerS. Since really StrikerS was too huge for even the amount of episodes it got so I could only cringe at the idea of trying to force a movie of it.
Think this could be really fun to see the lives of the main trio between those seasons. Can write up a solid story for the movie to cover. Should be easy enough to make up an incident that happened between those years. Pretty optimistic about this since they don't have to compare to anything and can just make an original story here.

That Bluray Complete box is gonna cost an arm and a leg. Is this a sign for the movie to come out at the end of the year/beginning next year? |

I looked at the blu ray collecctions and yeah it is going to cost an arm and leg for each season over 200 dollars. I know the sereies is good, but the series is not that old to be that expensive in any format. Glad I have the regular dvd's maybe the price will go down. Either that or we americans have no appreciation for prices of movies in japan or associated products.

if what i'm reading is correct, each season will get its box designed by the Nanoha series's character designer Okuda Yasuhiro (new artwork most likely) and new content included which i'm guessing refers to new interviews, extras, and maybe even Lyrical Party V. with the price of those sets, i would expect them to include that in one of them at least.
I'm also suspecting this will be a clever ploy to tie it in with The Movie 3rd ticket sales. i'm hoping so because I have plans to go to Japan at the end of the year. |

The lack of a trailer makes me think the third movie is not on the horizon. Not even any information on what it's going to be about. The remake movie of the 2nd series took about 1.8 years to produce, I imagine a completely new story would take far longer.

also, if we were to compare the announcement of the 2nd Movie A's (11/23/2010) and its release (7/14/2012) to the announcement of the Movie 3rd Reflection (3/24/2013), I would say that's ample time for the end of the year/beginning next year target. i'm sure they're holding back some trailer for...oh i don't know....Summer Comiket? they missed Anime Japan, so this is the only big name event I would think of them unleashing it. i'm being REALLY OPTIMISTIC about this so I'm sticking to my theory and keep living the hopeful theory. |

The series was actually just green lit when it was announced on 3/24/2013. In an interview some months ago he states that it would be a completely new story but was unsure of what it would be about. He only noted what it wouldn't be about.
But It's good to be optimistic, I suppose. |

Who knows, could be between strikers and A's, probably shortly before Nanoha's accident.
However Gears of destiny went off timeline so it is possible. I don't think there will be anymore movies after the third one since they are taking forever to make it.
